"Ok then, now that everything has somewhat settled down? How about we talk?" Rimuru said to the table.
We had all aggregated towards the main meeting room. The forces of Tempest and Lubelius were currently facing each other preparing to discuss peace while I'm sitting to the side on my laptop reading something.
"Simon, are you gonna join us?" Rimuru asked me.
Without looking up, I just shook my head. Rimuru just left me be because among demon lords, it was important not to push my buttons.
Hinata started the conversation, "According to our doctrine, the church could not recognise a nation of monsters. I could not recognise you either, although my reasons were personal."
Rimuru: "Is it because of Shizu?"
Hinata: "Yes, although now I believe I was being used."
Rimuru: "Any idea by who?"
Hinata: "I suspect it was the eastern merchants."
Rimuru: "We discovered that demon lord Clayman was frequently visited by merchants, I wonder if they were from the eastern empire as well?"
Hinata: "Regardless, they were the ones who told me that you were the one who killed Shizu and that you would be staying in the kingdom of Ingrassia at the time."
"That makes sense and the timing couldn't have possibly been worse." Suddenly Rimuru's aura poured out of him in accordance to his bloodlust.
Majority of the people at the table kept their composure at the sudden pressure being exerted.
Luminous: " It's gonna take more than that to scare us, you know."
Rimuru immediately snapped out of his brooding state and apologised to the table. Rimuru gave me a glance to check whether I was ok but I just kept scrolling on my laptop, I didn't evens seem to have registered anything.
Rimuru: " Anyway, I think it's fair to say that the masterminds behind this was the eastern merchants but there is someone we have to account for and that is Yuuki Kagurazaka."
Luminous: "Ahh that, the one that apparently helped Clayman control Milim."
Hinata: "Yuuki was behind that? Are did you find that out?"
Rimuru, Luminous and Louis just pointed towards the couch where I had set down the laptop on the couch, got up and stretched.
Hinata: " Lord Simon, are you sure that it's Yuuki and not the Eastern merchants that caused this?"
Simon: "It's both. More specifically, there are three main masterminds working from behind the scenes at the moment. Yuuki is the first one, the second is the Eastern empire who desires world domination from the east and Tempest is in there way."
Rimuru: " Well then, who's the third?"
Simon: " The third is Granbell Rosso."
Luminous: " Granbell? The first luminary, to think that he would be behind this."
Hinata and Luminous then went into a whole rant about who Granbell was, " But what is his connection to all of this?"
" Granbell Rosso, who more accurate the entire Rosso family desires the same thing as the eastern empire, world domination, from the West this time. The only difference in this scheme is that this battle was orchestrated to take out Tempest… and Hinata. I never knew that Hinata could be so valuable, can I borrow her from you Luminous?"
Luminous: " We'll talk about that at another time."
" I'm right here you know?" Hinata complained both to Luminous and Me.
Simon: " Anyway just one last thing to say is that Master Rook Glenda is actually a spy sent by Granbell."
The rest of the saints were in shook by my accusation and alittle outraged, " Hey don't you dare just accuse us! Who do you think you are?"
Hinata then shut up Garde, " Shut up Garde, show some respect to Lord Pneuma!"
" Lord Pneuma! Wait, Lord Pneuma?" Now all the saints had gasped at my identity.
The room went silent, everyone looked around the room and whoever they looked to just nodded their head without saying a word.
The saints carried various expressions of surprise, shook and disbelief when looking at me. I meanwhile was pouring at Hinata, " Why did you tell them that? It's more fun to let them figure it out."
" Sorry lord Simon, but I don't think anyone is in the mood for you mischievous antics at the moment." Hinata said resolutely.
My mischievous smile changed to a gentle one, " Don't worry, I had no intention of troubling your saints. Now that this has all this discussion has been resolved, what will happen now?"
But Luminous was not happy with my last words, " It has not been resolved. We were the ones who attacked Tempest, we should pay some form of remunerations."
Simon: "Luminous, just drop it. Rimuru is too much of a goody two shoes to hold anything against you. I assume he'd just want to become friends with your nation and I doubt you'd accept that due to… this one." I said the last part while patting Veldora's shoulder.
"Can you say that in a less insulting manner?" Rimuru complained.
" No… believe me, I've tried." I said blankly.
I turned back to Luminous, " Luminous, what if I asked you to enter relations with Tempest as a request from me?"
Luminous froze, causing all the saints to look in shock at Luminous's indecisive actions, her face revealed a rebellious pout on contrast to her usual stern face, " C'mon that's not fair of you to say that."
Everyone in the room except for me and Louis looked unsurprised by her suddenly changed in demeanor. I just looked at her with a mischievous smile, " Your answer, Lumi?"
" Fine then, I'm willing to enter relations with Tempest… if it's for you." Luminous whispered the last part that everyone still caught causing everyone's shock change to fright, as if they had just witnessed something horrific.
I had already known that Luminous wouldn't refuse me, the relationship between Lubelius and Andromeda/Eden has always been one sided in her eyes, not to mention that I had been improving her personal life multiple times.
In her eyes, in both our professional and personal lives, I had always been the one giving and Luminous was not one to just let that slide but she could nothing about it. It wasn't that way in my eyes, allowing us to make an Andromeda base within Lubelius was enough for me.
" I declare that today, Lubelius was formally began a treaty with Tempest that Tempest is to not be touched by the church."
