Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 — Son Of Destiny.

At that moment, the Spiritual Qi gathered by Jun Sha condensed into a colossal black dragon.

The dragon roared, shaking the heavens as it charged toward Mo Yu with overwhelming force.

"Die!"

Jun Sha sneered.

Mo Yu remained completely calm.

With a flick of his hand, the Divine Smithing Qiankun Cauldron flew out and expanded before him like an indestructible mountain.

Buzz!

The enormous black dragon slammed violently into the ancient cauldron.

As the dust slowly settled, everyone stared in stunned silence.

The ancient cauldron remained suspended in the air, completely unscathed.

Behind it, Mo Yu stood unharmed, not even a corner of his robes had been damaged.

Before anyone could recover from their shock, Mo Yu had already infused the jade hairpin with his spiritual Qi.

In an instant—

The heavens and earth changed colour.

A terrifying Sword Qi erupted from the seemingly ordinary hairpin, radiating a pressure that made everyone's souls tremble.

Wherever the Sword Qi passed, the Void Realm split apart as though it were fragile glass, leaving behind a pitch-black spatial rift.

"Not good!"

Jun Wuhen's expression changed dramatically.

However, with Su Meier relentlessly keeping him occupied, he had no chance to evade.

"AAAGH!"

A blood-curdling scream echoed across the heavens.

The Sword Qi struck Jun Wuhen head-on, sending him flying like a kite with a snapped string.

His body smashed violently into a distant mountain peak.

Boom!

The towering mountain instantly collapsed, countless boulders exploding in every direction as thick clouds of dust billowed into the sky.

Witnessing this scene, Jun Sha's expression changed drastically.

He no longer cared about fighting Mo Yu.

Without the slightest hesitation, he transformed into a streak of light and rushed toward Jun Wuhen's location.

Mo Yu let out a quiet sigh of relief.

With that strike, even if Jun Wuhen survived, he would most likely be crippled.

Beside him, Murong Yi stood frozen.

Her beautiful eyes were wide with disbelief, and her lips parted slightly in shock.

Her little Master had actually defeated someone as terrifying as Jun Wuhen.

If she wasn't mistaken, the power Jun Wuhen had wielded clearly belonged to at least the Void Refinement Realm.

Yet such an overwhelming expert had been defeated in a single strike.

Her thoughts instantly descended into chaos.

Could Master really be the true Son of Luck of this world?

But... isn't that supposed to be me?

I'm the transmigrator!

Could it be... I'm actually just a supporting character?

The mere thought made her face pale.

No...

Absolutely not!

I refuse to believe I'm just some insignificant side character!

Su Meier let out a quiet sigh of relief before her figure blurred.

In the next instant, she appeared beside Mo Yu.

Only now did she realise how flustered she had been.

She had completely forgotten about the life-saving treasure that Third Senior Sister had entrusted to Junior Brother.

With Third Senior Sister's strength...

There was no way Jun Wuhen could have survived that attack.

Not far away, Elder Lou Su stood rooted to the spot, utterly dumbfounded.

Star Lord had actually been defeated.

Although he and Jun Wuhen belonged to different factions within the Starry Sky Holy Land, Jun Wuhen had been sent flying right before his eyes.

If anything had truly happened to Star Lord, he would undoubtedly be held responsible as well.

At the summit of Verdant Mist Peak, clouds drifted lazily through the mountains, shrouding the landscape in an ethereal mist.

Xia Ningbing sat cross-legged upon a smooth bluestone as flawless as polished jade.

A faint violet radiance enveloped her graceful figure, making her appear like an immortal goddess who had descended into the mortal world.

Her breathtakingly beautiful face remained as cold and expressionless as ever, untouched by worldly emotions.

Suddenly—

Her eyes snapped open.

For the first time, a faint ripple disturbed her usually tranquil gaze.

The Sword Qi she had left within Mo Yu's protective treasure... had been activated.

A Soul Transformation Realm family should never have been capable of forcing him to use it.

That meant...

Something unexpected had happened.

"Could it be... the Starry Sky Holy Land?"

A trace of coldness flashed through her eyes.

Without the slightest hesitation, she formed a series of hand seals.

The Spiritual Treasure she had entrusted to Mo Yu immediately resonated with her Spiritual Qi across countless miles.

Using that connection as a bridge, she began constructing an Incarnation.

The process would require a little time.

She could only hope...

...that nothing happened to her Junior Brother before her Incarnation arrived.

Jun Wuhen coughed violently, a mouthful of fresh blood spraying from his lips.

His aura had weakened considerably, no longer carrying the overwhelming pressure he had displayed before.

"Young Lord, are you alright?"

Jun Sha appeared at his side in an instant, his expression filled with concern.

Jun Wuhen silently wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth before reaching into his robes.

A shattered bronze mirror fell into his hand.

It was the Heart-Protecting Mirror, a Mid-Grade Spirit Treasure.

Now, however, it was split into countless cracks, its spirituality completely extinguished.

That single strike had destroyed it outright.

"I'm fine."

His voice remained calm, but his eyes burned with unconcealed killing intent.

He fixed his gaze on Su Meier, the fighting spirit within him only growing stronger.

"They've already used their strongest trump card."

"They no longer possess anything capable of threatening me."

"You deal with that Saint."

"Leave that fox to me."

Jun Sha frowned, intending to persuade him otherwise.

But before he could utter a single word, Jun Wuhen had already shot into the sky like a streak of black lightning.

His robes fluttered violently as boundless demonic aura surged around him.

He raised his hand and pointed his spear toward Su Meier.

"Come!"

"Fight me again!"

Mo Yu's eyes widened as he watched Jun Wuhen charge back into the battlefield.

A wave of bewilderment rose within him.

Senior Sister's attack wasn't enough?

That guy actually survived?

Was a hundred thousand Luck just for show?

Su Meier narrowed her fox-like eyes, her expression turning serious.

"Little Brother, leave first."

"I'll hold them off and come find you later."

Before the last word had even left her lips, her figure dissolved into a streak of pink light and shot toward the heavens.

Mo Yu frowned slightly.

He knew she was right.

As long as he remained here, Su Meier would be forced to divide her attention between fighting Jun Wuhen and protecting him.

If she could fight without any restraints, using all of her trump cards, defeating Jun Wuhen shouldn't be difficult.

Still...

It was only a Void Refinement Realm opponent.

With the number of Immortal Artifacts he carried, even if he simply threw them one after another...

...he could probably crush the man to death through sheer brute force alone.

Meanwhile, Murong Yi suddenly came to a horrifying realization.

Master really is the Son of Destiny!

This is the classic "a companion stays behind to hold off the enemy" scene, isn't it?

Her expression instantly stiffened.

Oh no...

I'm not going to die here too, am I?
