Suneo recovered from the embarrassment and continued, "I asked you all to come to my home's recording studio because I want to form a band.
How about performing at the Christmas Party hosted by the Children's Association? As for the instruments, I'll provide them for everyone to use."
"Wow! Suneo, that's a pretty good idea!" Giant praised Suneo loudly.
Shizuka also looked at Suneo, "It sounds like fun. So, I'll join too!"
Seeing Shizuka join Suneo's band, Nobita couldn't wait and shouted, "Me, me, me... I want to join too."
Suneo glanced at Nobita and reluctantly agreed to let him join.
Suneo looked at Lu Ming nearby, "Do you want to participate, Lu Ming?"
Lu Ming nodded, "Since everyone is participating, how could I be absent? So, I'll join as well."
"In that case, let's choose the instruments everyone will use," Suneo said.
Lu Ming walked up to a guitar and picked it up. "I'll use this," he said, testing it out awkwardly.
Shizuka picked up a bass guitar next to her and strummed it a few times. "This sound is really cool! I'll use this one."
Giant walked over to a drum set and gave it a tap. The sound excited him, and he patted the drums again. "What a great sound! I've decided to choose this."
Seeing that they had all chosen their instruments, Nobita also impatiently picked up a very beautiful electric guitar.
Holding the electric guitar, Nobita looked at everyone excitedly. "Haha, I'll choose this one."
Just as Nobita was getting carried away with excitement, Suneo dashed forward and snatched the electric guitar from him.
"This electric guitar is mine. You should use this instead!" Suneo said, tossing a castanet to Nobita.
Nobita stared blankly at the castanet in his hand. "Why am I using a castanet?"
Nobita was fuming with anger at Suneo, but he managed to restrain himself. He tossed the castanet aside.
Just as he was about to grab another instrument, Suneo stopped him again. "Nobita, you're always so clumsy. A castanet is enough for you!
Besides, now that we have Lu Ming, you're dispensable, Nobita!" Nobita's head was steaming with rage as he turned and left.
Lu Ming and the others watched Suneo intentionally drive Nobita away. They wanted to say something, but since the instruments belonged to Suneo, they could only watch as Nobita left in a huff.
After Nobita left, Suneo continued, "Now that the irrelevant person is gone, let's choose the band leader."
Giant stood up excitedly, two puffs of white steam snorting from his nose. "It's decided! I'm going to be the leader of the Giant Swing Band."
Shizuka just watched from the side, not participating in the election for leader. Lu Ming wasn't interested in being the leader either, so he didn't run.
"I'm the leader of this band, and it should be called the Spinning Suneo Band!" Giant looked at Suneo unhappily.
"Why should you be the leader? And the name isn't as good as mine," Giant said grumpily.
Suneo smiled. "Giant, whose instruments are you using? If you had your own, I wouldn't mind you being the leader!"
The angry Giant felt as miserable as if he'd had a bucket of cold water poured over him. He wanted to punch Suneo.
But looking at the drum set in front of him, he held back. However, he thought to himself that he'd teach Suneo a lesson once the Christmas Party was over.
Meanwhile, Nobita returned home in a huff, slumped over his desk and pounding it hard. "What was that? Who would want to form a band with that annoying Suneo..."
After venting his emotions, Nobita looked at Doraemon behind him. "How about it! Why don't the two of us form a band too!"
Doraemon looked at the serious Nobita. "In that case, let's form a band!"
Nobita and Doraemon found the busy Nobitas Mother.
"Mom, because of that guy Suneo, I want to buy a guitar."
Doraemon also looked at Nobitas Mother. "I want to buy a guitar too!"
Nobitas Mother stopped her busy housework and looked calmly at the boy and the cat. "No! You cannot."
Hearing this, Nobita said urgently, "Why? Why not?"
Nobita and Doraemon only heard Nobitas Mother's flat voice, "Anyway, you two will definitely only have a three-minute passion and lose interest quickly. It'll be useless even if I buy it."
Hearing this, Nobita and Doraemon returned to the room with long faces.
"What 'three-minute passion'! Mom is being way too harsh."
Doraemon looked at the indignant Nobita and quickly comforted him, "Alright... alright! Nobita."
You can't blame Mom for thinking that. After all, Nobita, that's just how you are.
Nobita flopped onto the tatami mat. Before three minutes had even passed, Doraemon heard Nobita's voice.
"Forget it, I give up! I'm just that kind of person anyway, and besides, we don't even have instruments!"
Doraemon looked at Nobita speechlessly. "You're giving up way too early! It hasn't even been three minutes yet."
"If you don't want me to give up so early, then think of something, Doraemon!" Nobita looked at Doraemon and grinned.
Doraemon looked at Nobita's shameless attitude. "I really can't do anything with you!"
Saying that, Doraemon took a small megaphone out of his four-dimensional pocket.
"The Non-living Object Hypnosis Loudspeaker. After using this gadget to perform hypnosis, anything can turn into what you want it to be.
Although the appearance won't change, the functions will be fully there."
An excited Nobita looked at Doraemon. "Really? Anything at all?"
"Of course! Let's find things with similar shapes; that way, they'll be easier to use," Doraemon said earnestly.
Doraemon and Nobita rummaged through the room and eventually came up with several basins and buckets, two brooms, and a vacuum cleaner.
Doraemon held the Non-living Object Hypnosis Loudspeaker and turned one broom into an electric guitar and the other into a regular guitar.
He assembled the basins and buckets into a drum set, turned the vacuum cleaner into a bass, and finally turned the desk into an electric piano.
After turning everything into instruments, Nobita looked at himself and Doraemon.
Then he lay back down on the tatami mat. "I think we should just give up! We can't form a band with just the two of us!"
Seeing Nobita about to give up again, Doraemon said angrily, "Really, Nobita! How can you give up after just a couple of tries? I can't stand you."
Doraemon sighed and took several Replication Robots out of his four-dimensional pocket.
Doraemon held the Replication Robots and made several copies of Nobita until there were enough people.
But Nobita knew nothing about instruments, and the performance was a mess—it was practically just noise.
Doraemon couldn't stand the noise and immediately made them stop.
"Your coordination is a mess; you need to practice properly." Saying that, Doraemon took several instrument practice books out of his four-dimensional pocket.
But they gave up after looking at them for a while. Nobita smiled sheepishly. "After all, they're all robots copied from me. They really don't have much patience for learning!"
