Third person point of view
Christian couldn't make time to meet Oliver for the next two days. They could only exchange some messages. Christian slumped on the couch and rotated his neck. He rested for a few minutes. He was about to get up when his phone rang. Jacob was calling him. Christian answered the call.
" Hello ". " Bro~ I talked to my friend and he asked you guys to go tomorrow. I will send you the location and you can go in the evening. It is fine, right ? " " I have time. I need to ask Oliver. I will contact you after confirming ". " Alright ". Christian hung up and called Oliver. It took a while for the call to be picked up.
Oliver was busy with work and couldn't pick up right away. He handed over the coffee and went back in quick steps. He was a bit surprised when he saw it was Christian. " Hello ". " Are you busy ? " Christian asked. " Yeah. A bit. What is it ? " Christian could hear the noise from the other side. He directly got to the point.
" Jacob asked us to meet the designer for the rings tomorrow evening. Do you have time ? " " Sure. So will you come here and we can go together ? " " Yeah ". " Okay ". " I will tell him to confirm it ". " Alright. Bye ". " Bye ". Christian hung up and called Jacob. " We will go tomorrow ". " Okay~ I will send the details to you ". Jacob hung up and did it right away.
Christian checked the location and forwarded them to Oliver. He also informed about the time he would pick him up. There was no reply right away. Christian knew he was busy. He put his phone away and went to his room. He got a reply when it was already very dark. They talked about a few things and then bid goodbye.
The next evening, Christian went to pick up Oliver and waited in the car. He left a text and Oliver replied he would be out in 5 minutes. He sat back in the seat and looked out of the window. He came out of his thoughts when he heard someone knock on the window. He turned to the side and saw Oliver smiling at him.
He unlocked the car and Oliver got in. " Hello. Were you busy this week ? " Christian waited for Oliver to put on the seatbelt and then started the engine. He turned the wheel and got on the road. " Yeah. A bit busy ". Oliver nodded. " Is the place far ? " Oliver asked, leaning in to see the GPS. " Not really. Around 40 minutes. The traffic isn't bad right now ".
" Ohhh ". Oliver nodded and sat back. He really wanted to talk to Christian about more things but couldn't think of anything. He was worried he would just make it awkward and chose to shut up. " Have you thought of anything for the rings ? " Christian asked and Oliver turned to him. " Not really. What about you ? "
Christian shook his head. " I am also the same ". Oliver smiled. Christian glanced at his hand on the wheel. " I rarely wear anything on my hands so I am not sure ". Oliver also saw the hands which were gripping the wheel and blinked. The same hands helped massage him previously. He cleared his mind and coughed lightly.
" I understand. I am also the same ". They were both in professions where they couldn't wear accessories on hands. Christian smiled. " It is fine. We can see what they have ". " Yeah ". Both of them stayed silent till they reached the destination. Christian parked the car and they both looked up at the building.
Oliver raised an eyebrow. This was the famous jewelry brand in their city. They were known for their interesting designs and their auctions always sold out at high prices. They walked in and went to the receptionist. " Hello. How may I help you ? " " We have an appointment under the name Jacob ". " Just a second sir ".
The receptionist checked and confirmed it. " Please go to the second floor ". " Thank you ". They took the elevator and went to the second floor. There was a lounge there. They sat on the couch and waited. They hadn't waited long before a man and a woman approached them. The young man smiled at them.
Both of them stood up. He shook hands with both of them. " Hello. I am Jacob's friend. He informed about you guys. Please sit down ". He sat down on the chair beside them and the woman sat down on the other chair. They both also sat back down. " Thanks for the help ". Christian replied politely. The young man smiled.
" It is nothing. It is just work for us anyway. I heard that they are wedding rings. We have some designs which were recently launched ". He took a tablet from the woman and handed it to Christian. " You can look into them and ask us if you have any doubts. She is our designer and is the one who will be helping you with them ". " Thank you so much ". " It is our pleasure ".
Christian held the tablet between both of them. Oliver moved closer to look at it properly. When they sat close, Oliver's arms brushed against Christian's. He could feel the warmth of Oliver's body seeping into his skin through the thin layer of the sleeve. The warmth seemed to travel all the way to his heart. Christian gulped and tried to focus.
On the contrary, Oliver felt that the shirt material was cool compared to his bare arm. He was wearing a short sleeved shirt and felt the material was also really smooth. It was nice to touch. Oliver felt the muscle under the fabric and gulped.
He peeked at Christian secretly and noticed him looking at the tablet. He brought his wandering mind back and also looked down at it. Christian stole a glance and Oliver was focusing on the tablet in his hand. He mentally told himself to do what they should and looked at the design.
