Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: So, using Little Commando to do homework...

"This is incredible!"

After recovering from that dizzying state, Peter immediately jumped up excitedly: "I'm sure Osborn is involved. Let me use your computer." He sat down at Ben's desk and opened the old, bulky computer.

"Buzz—"

The computer case hummed.

Peter opened a web page, typed a few times on the keyboard, and images of spiders popped up: "Osborn Enterprise is researching spiders, but they definitely aren't just using silk."

"Are you going to investigate Osborn?"

"Don't you want to know how we mutated and if there will be any adverse effects?" Peter countered.

Ben thought, you mutated because you were chosen by the Spider Totem, and I mutated because Omnitrix protected me.

He knew much more than Peter.

But he just shook his head: "I don't want to know at all."

Although Osborn Enterprise still has a significant gap compared to Stark Industries, it is one of the top leading enterprises in New York City. In a society where capital represents power, going against them would only invite countless troubles.

Among Spider-Man's enemies, several have intricate connections with Osborn.

Ben didn't intend to become a superhero, much less get involved in this mess.

In contrast, he was more willing to make good use of his superpowers to make life easier for his not-so-wealthy family in the future.

So, making money was the most important thing.

Thinking of this, Ben felt that the Little Commando in his watch was already calling him.

Make a few small inventions, establish his own company, and call it Parker Industries. No, that name is unlucky, better change it.

The name Parker Industries always made Ben think of Dr. Zhang Parker.

"It should be called Plymouth Technology," he murmured to himself.

"What Plymouth Technology?" Peter asked without turning his head.

"The company I'm going to start, Peter, you'll have to work for me in the future."

"Very interesting," Peter replied perfunctorily. He opened another web page, this time the image was no longer a spider, but a blond man, "Look, Curt Connors, a famous biologist. He used to be my father's colleague and worked at Osborn."

"So, you suspect he knows something?" Ben asked, resting one hand on the back of the chair.

Of course, the famous Lizard Doctor, he couldn't possibly not know him.

"I want to go talk to him," Peter said, a fire lit in his eyes as he fell into a frenzy. He was clearly not just after his own abilities, but also wanted to talk to this old colleague about his long-deceased parents.

To be honest, there was nothing to criticize about this.

It's just that Peter forgot that no matter what, his parents wouldn't come back to life. He was deeply immersed in it, even arguing with Uncle Ben over it. Uncle Ben and Aunt May were worried he would get hurt because of it.

"Go if you want, but I won't be accompanying you." Ben had no blood relation to Peter's parents; he was adopted by Ben and Mei first, and Peter was sent over by his parents shortly after.

For him, what was more important was to protect Ben and Mei, and not let them get hurt.

Spider-Man could be without Ben, but he couldn't!

He didn't care about any web incidents; even if a powerful Spider-Man stood in front of him, Ben would transform into Four Arms and give him a few punches first!

"Don't you want to know what kind of mutation happened to your body?" Peter asked in surprise, unable to understand why Ben was so indifferent to everything. "This could affect our entire lives. We might become superheroes, or... super monsters."

"I believe if you had research results, you wouldn't just let your cousin become a spider monster," Ben said expressionlessly, grabbing Peter's shoulder and easily lifting him. It felt like lifting a watermelon.

"What are you doing?" Peter struggled in mid-air.

Spider-Man's superpowers did not immediately reach their peak the moment they were acquired; they needed time to grow and some tempering.

Of course, lifting a scrawny young man like Peter was too easy.

"Of course, I'm inviting you out. I didn't invite you into my room." Ben directly threw him out, then closed the door and locked it.

He still planned to keep the Omnitrix a secret for now.

Not to guard against Peter, but to guard against Shadow Shield.

"First, let me see if I can crack Omnitrix's protection program." He activated the watch again, twisting the raised dial to the Little Commando pattern. He gently pressed his palm, and a green light immediately filled the entire room.

The next second, his body transformed into the palm-sized Little Commando—Little Commando looked like a standing gray frog, with two enormous hands, bulging eyes, and horizontal pupils.

"I feel a lot of mechanical knowledge pouring into my mind!" Ben exclaimed in surprise.

He didn't expect that transforming into Little Commando not only made his brain much more agile, but also brought out some knowledge he didn't originally understand from his mind.

"Could it be that Gavan knowledge can already be inherited through DNA? That's incredible!"

However, it was clear that this knowledge was not enough for Ben to crack the Omnitrix. In fact, Azmuth might have already considered this possibility, so he deliberately placed the watch's core on Little Commando's back. Now, let alone cracking it, it wasn't even easy for Ben to touch it.

Ben pinched his chin, thinking: "It seems I need a precise mechanical arm to do the work for me first."

But this was not an easy task for him either. Little Commando had a lot of knowledge in his brain, but this knowledge was too advanced for the original Ben.

Even Einstein, seeing twenty levels of technology at once, could only exclaim it was a miracle.

"I think I'd better be practical," he clenched his right fist and slammed it into his left palm, clearly having a good idea.

"Why not finish the homework first!"

No sooner said than done, Ben climbed onto the desk. The physics textbook on the desk was almost larger than his body. He picked up a ballpoint pen, which could be used as a gun barrel, and bit his finger as he looked at the textbook.

"Find the minimum value of magnetic induction and the corresponding speed of the sphere?" He shook his head, muttering to himself, looking incredulous, "Earth kids learn this? Unbelievable, Gavan children's intelligence level at birth is much higher than theirs."

"Simple, too simple!"

Casually writing down the correct answer, Ben shook his head as he continued writing with the ballpoint pen.

In less than ten minutes, problems that usually took several hours to solve were easily resolved, as simple as filling in "1+1=2."

After finishing his homework, Ben looked at the computer screen, which was larger than himself, and made a gesture of rolling up his sleeves.

"Alright, now, it's time to do some real work!"
