"Malefic Paradox Dragon, huh? But because of Burden of the Mighty, Malefic Paradox Dragon loses 1000 ATK," Kisaragi murmured.
Malefic Paradox Dragon
ATK 3000 / DEF 4000
"I activate Malefic Paradox Dragon's effect. When this card is Synchro Summoned, I can revive a Synchro Monster from the Graveyard with no conditions!"
"Awaken, Stardust Dragon!"
Stardust Dragon
ATK 1700 / DEF 2000
"Burden of the Mighty, was it? However, according to Malefic Paradox Dragon's effect, your monster loses ATK equal to the ATK of the monster revived by Malefic Paradox Dragon."
"Accept the curse, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon!"
Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's entire body was stained by black miasma, and its body began to tremble.
Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon
ATK 800 / DEF 3000
"This is bad. Because of Malefic Paradox Dragon's effect, every monster Kisaragi summons will lose 2500 ATK. She can't beat Paradox like this!" Yugi said.
"That's right. If most monsters lose 2500 ATK, their strength drops drastically," Yusei said.
"What are you all talking about? She's Professor Kisaragi. Hasn't she shown us more than enough miracles already? I believe Professor Kisaragi will overcome this obstacle too," Jaden said.
"I set two cards face-down and end my turn!"
Cards in hand: 1
"My turn. Draw!"
"At this moment, I activate Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's effect. During my Standby Phase, I can Special Summon one Normal Monster from my Graveyard."
"Come forth, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
"Hmph. Even Blue-Eyes White Dragon will suffer Malefic Paradox Dragon's curse!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon's body was likewise stained by black miasma.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon
ATK 1300 / DEF 2500
"No matter what monster you Summon, it cannot escape Malefic Paradox Dragon's curse!"
Kisaragi did not reply, as if she paid no attention to Paradox's words whatsoever.
"I activate the effect of Maiden of White in my Graveyard. When Blue-Eyes White Dragon is Special Summoned, this card can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard!"
Maiden of White
ATK 0 / DEF 0
"Preparing for a Synchro Summon? No matter what monster you Summon, it won't be a match for Malefic Paradox Dragon!"
Yusei gritted his teeth and shouted toward Kisaragi.
"Miss Kisaragi, please don't worry about me! Destroy Stardust Dragon! I'm sure Stardust Dragon doesn't want to keep being used by this man either."
Kisaragi glanced at Yusei, then inserted a card into her Duel Disk.
"Yusei, breaking through this situation doesn't necessarily mean destroying Stardust Dragon."
"What?!"
"I activate the Spell Card Change of Heart from my hand. This card lets me take control of one monster on my opponent's field for this turn," Kisaragi said.
"As if I'd let you! I activate the Trap Card Malefic Force. When this card is activated, it equips itself to one monster on the field. That monster is unaffected by my opponent's Spell Cards."
"I equip this card to Malefic Paradox Dragon. Now you can't take control of my Malefic Paradox Dragon!"
"Heh."
Kisaragi sneered.
"Who said I was taking control of Malefic Paradox Dragon?"
"What?!"
"The one I'm taking control of is Stardust Dragon. Since Stardust Dragon has moved to my field, all my monsters' ATK returns to its original value."
Stardust Dragon
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000

Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon

At that moment, Yusei's previously blank card also recovered its original image.
"Miss Kisaragi, thank you!"
"I see. There was still that method. As expected of Professor Kisaragi," Jaden said with a smile.
"Not bad. But no matter how much your monsters' ATK recovers, they still can't defeat Malefic Paradox Dragon!"
"I tune Level 8 Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Level 1 Maiden of White."
"Light of hope shines across the mountains. Legendary white dragon, evolve!"
"Synchro Summon! Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon!"
Maiden of White transformed into points of light and sank into Blue-Eyes White Dragon's body. At that moment, Blue-Eyes White Dragon truly became a dragon of light. When the radiance faded, a dragon even more noble and mysterious than Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared on the field.
Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon
ATK 2500 / DEF 3000
"Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. Another form of Blue-Eyes White Dragon?" Yugi said.
At that moment, Jaden and Yusei were so shocked they could not speak. Yusei in particular sensed the dragon-head mark on his arm begin to glow, as if it had appeared in response to Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's Summon.
"Yusei, what is that?" Jaden was the first to notice.
"What an unbelievable power," Yubel, a Duel Spirit herself, murmured first.
"The Crimson Dragon…"
Yusei understood the Crimson Dragon's intention.
"Miss Kisaragi, my Crimson Dragon wants to help you. Please accept its power!"
After Yusei spoke, the Crimson Dragon behind him flew toward Kisaragi and merged into her body. A complete Crimson Dragon mark appeared on Kisaragi's back.
"This is… the power of the Crimson Dragon!"
Kisaragi gasped in admiration, then smiled.
"Yusei, I'll make good use of its power."
After saying that, Kisaragi looked toward Paradox.
"I activate Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's effect. By Tributing this Synchro Summoned card, I can Special Summon one LIGHT Dragon Synchro Monster from my Extra Deck in Defense Position, except Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. However, the monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn."
"I Tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. Appear, Crimson Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon transformed into a shining white hole. Before long, a massive dragon wreathed in crimson flames emerged from the white hole, letting out waves of dragon roars.

"What? The Crimson Dragon can actually appear on the field as a monster?!" Paradox exclaimed in shock.
Not only Paradox—this was also Yusei's first time seeing the Crimson Dragon appear on a duel field.
"To think she could be fully acknowledged by the Crimson Dragon. Is this the power of this era's Duel King?" Yusei said.
"I activate Crimson Dragon's special effect. When this card is Special Summoned, I can add one Spell or Trap Card that mentions Crimson Dragon from my deck to my hand."
"I add Synchro Rumble from my deck to my hand!"
"Paradox, this duel can end now. Your ambition ends here," Kisaragi said.
"Impossible! Even if you possess the Crimson Dragon's power, you cannot stop our great plan!"
"Is that so? Then open your eyes and watch the battle that comes next."
