Synopsis
The Moon I Could Never Have Vikram’s life changed forever on a rainy night when a tragic car accident took away his parents. Left with nothing but memories and silent pain, he grows up in a small village under the care of his aging grandmother. Quiet, sincere, and carrying dreams bigger than his circumstances, Vikram earns a scholarship to a prestigious city school — a place far different from the world he has known. In the middle of unfamiliar faces and whispered judgments, he meets Aarohi. Bright, kind, and graceful, Aarohi becomes the only light in Vikram’s lonely world. Their friendship blossoms under shared conversations, gentle smiles, and silent understanding. But as his feelings grow deeper, Vikram realizes the painful truth — some people are meant to be admired from afar. Aarohi belongs to a different world, one filled with opportunities and distant horizons. And Vikram, shaped by loss and responsibility, chooses silence over confession. When fate cruelly repeats itself on another rain-soaked highway, Vikram’s story ends the way it once began — in tragedy. Leaving behind unspoken love and a diary filled with hidden words, he becomes the very thing he once compared her to: The moon. Beautiful. Distant. Forever out of reach. The Moon I Could Never Have is a heartbreaking tale of silent love, destiny, and the kind of longing that lingers even after goodbye.

Chapter 1: The Boy Who Lost the Sun

Vikram was only fifteen when the sun of his life set forever.

His parents had died in a tragic car accident on a rainy night while returning from the city. He had waited for them at home, sitting near the door, hoping to see the headlights of their car. Instead, strangers arrived with unbearable news.

After that night, Vikram stopped laughing the way children do.

He moved in with his old grandmother in their small village. She was weak in body but strong in heart. Every morning she prayed for him, and every night she whispered stories so he would not feel alone.

Vikram became quiet, disciplined, and mature beyond his age. He studied hard, helped his grandmother, and never complained about his fate.

One day, his teacher brought life-changing news — Vikram had received a scholarship to study in a big city school.

His grandmother smiled through tears.

"Your parents wanted you to shine," she said. "Go and make them proud."

And so, with a small suitcase and a heavy heart, Vikram left his village behind.
