I slammed my hand on the platform and all the other races disappeared around me as if the lights had suddenly turned off.
I was now alone with only the demon platform,.
To begin I started by creating my character's looks. There were many options before me, with clickable arrows to switch between the different looks and styles of character.
I selected male and it moved to a more in depth editor.
I was able to change his age, height, hair, hair color, skin tone, tattoo color, and eye color.
For a moment I paused, the demon looked alive, as if it was breathing….
After going through all the cosmetic options I decided despite his age of 29 years he adorned long black hair with lightly tan skin, eyes the color of rubies that seemed to look deep into your soul. He mirrored my actual height of over six feet tall, this way I would hopefully be more oriented when in this new character body.
There was one final option for a tattoo color which in this editor was called a Marking. For this option I also chose red.
After making my selections the avatars' cosmetic options locked and I was now in class selection.
I swiped between each option, which showed a preset of armor on the avatar. They all looked really intimidating.
This has to be end game armor, it's incredible looking. Robes with skulls for the Necromancer, dark black plate for the Dark Knight, and a unique mix of armor and robes for the martial artist. Looking at this... whose to say a martial artist can't have knightly qualities..
I'm torn, there are two classes that peak my interest.
As I lingered on a class option more details appeared nearby.
Dark Knight Info: Magical Knights that have an affinity for only dark magic. Sparsely found in the wastelands and among the demonic armies. Dark Knights are considered one of the rarest classes. A mage, with the ability to use any level of armor and weapon proficiently. Random mana root quality, bloodline and constitution at start.
Class Bonuses: Dark Magic Affinity, Starting with the Dark Castle Dungeon Key.
"Interesting... What about Martial Artist? What is mana root quality and this other stuff.."
I swapped the to the martial artist class which gave me more details,
Martial Artist Info: Cultivators of inner Qi (Refined Mana), depending on the bloodline, root quality and constitution of the cultivator they can either be a strong powerhouse or trash. Anyone can pursue this path however the road is perilous. This path is filled with infinite possibilities yet many obstacles.
Class Bonuses: Bloodline Lottery, Constitution Lottery (Available prior to Teleportation), Cultivation Technique Library Key (Available after level 10).
"This is a hard choice, while Dark Knight sounds cool, but I don't want to be limited to only dark magic. If I'm a demon I really need ways to not instantly look like a bad guy…. When I think about it… it's almost as if I was always meant to be a martial artist, I'm ranked number 1 nationally as a martial artist IRL in my age group. I imagine some of these skills will transfer over and give me a good foundation, plus if this is anything like those eastern cultivation novels I would really love this the most."
I selected the Martial Artist. Suddenly the demonic race I had chosen showed illuminated veins along its body all leading to a sphere gem like core at his naval.

Martial Artist Constitution Generator activated please choose from the following options.
Suddenly many options appeared before me with each option showing different vein layouts on the avatar in a variety of colors. I started swapping between the different options and formulated some theories.
"It looks like the constitution really affects the cultivator, the basic constitution option has one thin light blue pathway between these dots all over the body… while the ones with crazy names like the Extreme Yang have special colors and multiple wide pathways between the dot. Some even have intricate pathways that extend to more parts of the body but I don't know what these mean.... let's see… why does the extreme yang have an extra dot on the p.. oh never mind"
I realized if I stayed on one of the options, it gave a brief description.
Extreme Yang: A martial artist with this constitution is specifically attuned to the fire element, once they reach their second evolution they obtain the ability to freely control the fire element with their techniques.
"It seems like these different options allow for the control of various elements but I'm sure there is more to it. What is this… there is an option that has a nightmare difficulty tag attached to it..."
More details were provided next to the body which had golden veins throughout the characters body ahead of me.
Divine Body: Those with this constitution obtain the ability to use up to three elements but must possess a divine tier catalyst for each. If they do not obtain this, they will be forever stuck at the second evolution. For example, to obtain the fire element, one must obtain and refine a flame with tier S+ potential. The individual with these roots can only progress to the peak of the second realm until all three primary elements possess a S or greater tier catalyst..
I hesitated,
"That's a high wall to climb… I imagine S class materials aren't found everywhere… However this constitution has the option to use any three elements. Go big or go home right? Only one character so I might as well try it, it's not like I can't start over if this doesn't work out."

The divine constitution was then infused into the avatar with golden wide veins taking intricate routes connecting all the dots within the body. Though I was unsure what these dots were.
More details appeared next to the avatar while a lines of text nearby were spinning rapidly between options.
Bloodline Details: Bloodlines are an inherited power passed down through generations, originating from an exceptionally strong ancestor or plundered from a mythical creature. This inherited bloodline gives the individual inherent advantages over those without one. Shaping their potential and status within the world. Bloodlines will impact many traits of the individual, both physical and temperamental. Bloodlines will also give specific innate abilities to their descendants. Some bloodlines will also allow for a full beast transformation depending on the purity.
Bloodline Ranks: Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Mythical, and Divine.

"Weird.. There isn't any additional information like there was for the others however it seems like a simple choice. Sun Wukong was called the Monkey King and only defeated by the Buddha himself. Though I'm worried that my avatar might look like a monkey after or become extremely hairy. So let's not do that one…. Heavenly Turtle… I don't know anything about this…. Turtles are known for their hard shell and I'm not wanting to play a tank, so no… Finally there is the Dragon bloodline, with this world having mana, having the bloodline of a dragon must be powerful. In most games and novels it's written that dragons are the best at magic and controlling mana. Plus it's a Divine rank bloodline."
I reached my hand forward and selected the demonic dragon bloodline. Suddenly purple blood poured into the avatar, manifesting out of nowhere causing his veins to turn purple, his eyes to mirror that of a dragon with vertical red pupils. Yet after the blood transfusion they changed back to their normal look but carried a bit of ferocity.
I sighed,
"If only this could be real"
I reached for the submit button then I heard a voice above me in a devilish deep tone.
"As if any other options would befit you, My lord. Soul transfer, begin"
A white essence began to pour from my body into the avatar as I struggled but was unable to move.
"What the hell…."
As if my mind was being ripped from my body I screamed out from the searing pain, before I knew it my voice even began to change.
It got deeper and I swear it was coming from the avatar…
I blacked out and felt my body fall to the floor, or was it grass?
Before I knew it I was waking up. The sounds of birds and beasts all around me. Once again the voice rang out above me,
"Welcome, to the world of Avaria. Enjoy your stay."
The voice started maniacally laughing as his voice faded into the ether.
