Chapter 236 - Chapter 236: The Team Formed by Universe 6

"We... have met him." Toppo let out a long sigh, his tone full of helplessness.

"Met him?" Jiren was slightly taken aback, and the people he had encountered before quickly flashed through his mind, but he couldn't think of who it was for a moment.

"His name is Son Goku." Toppo finally uttered that name, each word sounding as if it were squeezed out from between his teeth.

"Son Goku? It's actually him!" Dyspo's eyes widened even further, his face written with disbelief.

Dyspo still remembered that at the time, that guy named Son Goku had kindly pulled him up from the ground after he fell.

I even praised him for being a good person.

I didn't expect this person... how could he be even stronger than Broly?

Jiren also raised an eyebrow, and his memory instantly returned.

That person named Son Goku looked ordinary at the time, even a bit simple and honest. Who would have thought he was hiding such great strength?

"I originally didn't want to tell you, for fear of dampening your confidence..." Toppo looked at Jiren's reaction and sighed again. "But I thought, we'll encounter him sooner or later in the Tournament of Power. Instead of being caught off guard then, it's better to tell you now."

"One Broly is hard enough to deal with, and now there's a Son Goku who's even stronger than Broly... we're simply no match!" Dyspo held his head and wailed with a bitter face. The confidence that had just been ignited because of Jiren was instantly mostly extinguished.

"By the way, there's another rule for the Tournament of Power. You can summon a God of Destruction to fight, but the God of Destruction can only be on the field for one minute." Toppo seemed to suddenly remember something and added.

"Summon Lord God of Destruction?" Dyspo suddenly looked up, a glimmer of hope flashing in his eyes.

"No need." Jiren suddenly spoke, interrupting him. He clenched his fists tightly, but a raging fighting spirit surfaced on his face, his gaze firmer than ever before. "Broly and Son Goku—let me defeat them both."

Toppo looked at him like this, and his hanging heart finally settled down. He let out a long sigh of relief: "Jiren, with those words from you, we can rest easy."

...

Universe 6, Planet Sadala.

Cabba had already received the order from the God of Destruction Champa to gather the strongest warriors in the race to participate in the Tournament of Power.

Cabba also rushed to the royal palace at the first opportunity, wanting to ask King Sadala to fight.

After all, among the Saiyans of Universe 6, King Sadala's strength was absolutely top-tier.

"Sorry, Cabba." King Sadala sat on his throne and let out a soft sigh, his tone carrying an apology. "I won't be going to this competition."

"Eh? Why, King!" Cabba froze in place, his face full of shock.

Cabba never expected that King Sadala would refuse.

"Look." King Sadala turned and pointed to the Queen beside him, his tone instantly becoming gentle. "My child is about to be born. At this time, I cannot leave her."

The Queen sat nearby, wearing a magnificent dress. Her slightly bulging lower abdomen was particularly noticeable; she indeed looked like she was close to her due date.

Cabba: "..."

Cabba opened his mouth, not knowing what to say for a moment.

The King's reason is reasonable, but this is the Tournament of Power, which concerns the survival of the universe!

"King... giving birth is certainly important, but isn't the survival of the universe even more critical?" Cabba hesitated for a long time but couldn't help asking.

"The survival of the universe is certainly important, but my child is the one who will inherit the throne in the future, the hope of Planet Sadala," King Sadala replied flatly, his tone carrying an unquestionable firmness.

Cabba silently wiped away some sweat.

If the universe is gone, what throne will there be to inherit!

"Go find Renso and let him participate in the competition." King Sadala didn't notice his thoughts and directly issued the order.

"King, please reconsider!" Cabba was unwilling and bowed again in plea.

Although Renso's strength is great, one more person means one more bit of strength!

"King, I also think you should participate in the competition." The Queen beside him suddenly spoke, her tone gentle yet firm. "I don't want our child to be born without a universe to live in."

Hearing this, King Sadala showed a smile and looked at the Queen: "Actually, I was waiting for you to say that."

Queen: "..."

The Queen looked at King Sadala, not reacting for a moment.

So he wanted to go all along, but was just waiting for her to give the word?

"If I'm not by your side when the child is born, I'll surely be blamed by you for a lifetime." King Sadala took the Queen's hand, his tone full of doting, then turned to Cabba and laughed, "Cabba, you must remember this in the future. You can't be too stubborn with your wife."

"Yes... yes, King." Cabba nodded hurriedly, secretly wiping away more sweat.

So that's what the King was worried about!

"But then again, if I'm not by your side, can you take good care of yourself?" King Sadala tightly held the Queen's hand, his eyes full of worry.

"Don't worry, King." The Queen smiled gently. "My sister and mother will come over to take care of me. You just go to the competition with peace of mind. You must win!"

"Good!" King Sadala nodded heavily, finally making up his mind. He looked at Cabba, his gaze instantly becoming sharp. "Since you say so, then I will participate in the Tournament of Power!" He paused, then asked, "Cabba, will that guy named Son Goku also participate in the competition?"

"Yes... yes, King," Cabba hurriedly responded.

"Interesting!" King Sadala's eyes lit up, and he suddenly clenched his fists, a strong fighting spirit surfacing on his face. "I've been wanting to have a good match with him!"

Cabba: "..."

Cabba's mouth twitched, and he silently muttered to himself.

King, are you serious?

Last time you saw Son Goku, weren't you scared away by his strength?

"If it hadn't been for the emergency on the border planet last time, I would have had a good spar with him no matter what!" King Sadala seemed to see through his thoughts, the corners of his mouth turning up to reveal a confident smile. "This time, I won't miss it again."

"King, are you confident you can defeat Son Goku? I heard his strength is already about the same as Lord Champa's." Cabba was still a bit uneasy and couldn't help but remind him.

"You don't need to worry about that." King Sadala waved his hand, his face full of pride. "After all, I am the King of the Saiyans of Universe 6."

Looking at his confident appearance, Cabba finally felt at ease and said excitedly, "That's great! With the King and Lord Renso participating together, our Universe 6's chances of winning will definitely be much greater!"

"Go find Renso now and have him get ready too," King Sadala ordered.

"Yes!" Cabba bowed and turned to walk quickly out of the palace.

Not long after, Cabba arrived at Renso's palace.

Fortunately, Renso had just returned from outside these past two days, so he didn't make a trip for nothing.

Cabba told Renso all about the rules and importance of the Tournament of Power, as well as Champa's order.

"Tournament of Power? Warriors from all universes competing together?" After hearing this, Renso's eyes instantly lit up, and he agreed without even thinking about it. "Interesting! I'm in!"

"That's great!" Cabba said excitedly. "With Lord Renso and the King participating together, our Universe 6 has hope!"

"By the way, I heard you brought a Saiyan from Universe 7 to Sadala last time?" Renso suddenly changed the subject and asked with a smile, his eyes full of curiosity.

"Nothing can be hidden from Lord Renso." Cabba laughed and didn't hide it. "I did bring him here; his name is Son Goku."

"Is he strong?" Renso pressed.

"As far as I know, his strength is not much different from Lord Champa's." Cabba stopped smiling and nodded with a grave expression.

"Son Goku?" Renso froze for a moment and frowned. "That name doesn't sound like a Saiyan name."

"That's his name in Universe 7; his original Saiyan name is actually Kakarot," Cabba explained.

"Strength about the same as Lord Champa's?" Renso's eyes grew brighter and brighter, flashing with an excited light. "It's getting more and more interesting. I'd like to see just how strong this Kakarot really is."

"Lord Renso, do you have any other suitable candidates to recommend? The Tournament of Power needs quite a few people," Cabba remembered they hadn't finished gathering the team and hurriedly asked politely.

"I do." Renso nodded and took a slip of paper from a drawer with an address written on it. "Take my sister along; go directly to this place to find her."

Cabba took the slip of paper and hurriedly bowed: "Thank you, Lord Renso! I'll head over right away!"

With that, Cabba hurriedly left the palace and rushed toward the address on the slip of paper.

That place was on the edge of Planet Sadala, remote and off the beaten path, where few people usually went.

Cabba was walking along the small path when he suddenly heard the sound of a car engine.

Looking up, he saw a military truck passing by, with the insignia of the Sadala Army on the side.

"Isn't that an army truck? Why would it come to a place like this?" Cabba was slightly taken aback, feeling a bit confused.

Inside the truck, the Saiyan in the passenger seat looked at the desolate scene outside the window and couldn't help but frown, his tone carrying worry: "Hey, isn't this area controlled by Caulifla? If we go through here, will something happen?"

"What's there to be afraid of?" The Saiyan driving laughed contemptuously, his tone full of disdain. "What's there to fear about that female hooligan? We're soldiers of the Sadala Army; would she even dare to lay a hand on us?"

"But I heard that even the army can't do anything about her, which is why they've always let her be here..." The Saiyan in the passenger seat was still uneasy and muttered in a low voice.

"I know, I know. I just wanted to take a shortcut to get the supplies back sooner, and we'll leave here immediately." The driving Saiyan waved his hand impatiently and slammed on the gas. The truck's speed instantly picked up, and it sped forward.

However, just as the truck drove into an open area, a figure suddenly blocked the middle of the road.

Pa!

A girl wearing red clothes stepped forward and kicked the front of the truck.

The massive force caused the truck to stop instantly, the tires screeching against the ground.

"Alright, stop the car." The girl stood with her hands on her slender waist, a mischievous smile on her face. It was Renso's sister, Caulifla. "If you want to pass through here, you have to leave the supplies on the truck."

"It's... it's Caulifla!" The driving Saiyan saw who it was, and his face instantly turned pale, his voice trembling a bit.

"I told you not to take a shortcut! Now we're in trouble!" The passenger Saiyan had a bitter face, his tone full of complaint.

"You guys, go move the things from the truck." Caulifla ignored their conversation and waved her hand behind her.

Three subordinates wearing cloaks immediately walked over, skillfully opened the rear door of the truck, and began moving the supplies inside.

"Don't go too far! These supplies were all brought back with our hard work; we rely on these to earn our pay and eat!" The driving Saiyan saw his supplies being moved and was both anxious and angry, clenching his fists tightly.

"Forget it, don't resist. We're no match for her," the passenger Saiyan hurriedly pulled him back and advised.

"What? Uncle, do you want to fight me?" Caulifla noticed his movement and looked at him with a smile, but her eyes carried a hint of provocation.

"Don't look down on the Sadala Army!" The driving Saiyan was stimulated by her gaze, grit his teeth, and suddenly pushed open the door and jumped down, charging toward Caulifla and throwing a punch hard at her chest.

This punch used full strength; if an ordinary person were hit, they would surely be seriously injured.

Caulifla just lightly turned her body and easily dodged the punch, her movements smooth and natural, as if she had already predicted his attack trajectory.

Immediately after, Caulifla reached out and grabbed the opponent's arm, tripped him slightly, and used his momentum to throw him hard.

Bang!

With a loud bang, the driving Saiyan was thrown directly, crashing heavily into the stone house behind him, even knocking a large hole in the wall.

"Ah... it hurts, it hurts me to death!" The driver climbed up from the ground, clutching his chest and grimacing, his face as pale as paper.

"Uncle, don't push yourself," Caulifla clapped her hands and said with a smile. "If you keep fighting, you might not even be able to do your job."

"Dammit!" The driver grit his teeth unwillingly, and while Caulifla wasn't paying attention, he quietly fished a handgun out of his pocket.

"Wow, there's actually so much food in the supplies this time; we really hit the jackpot!" Caulifla was looking down and flipping through the boxes that had been moved down, not noticing his small movement, and even excitedly picked up an ornament and shook it. "Eh? Are these ornaments? They're quite nice-looking."

"Those ornaments are to be presented to King Sadala!" The driver suddenly spoke, his voice full of anger. "The Queen is about to give birth, and some are for the soon-to-be-born little Prince! I absolutely won't allow you to take them away!"

With that, the driver suddenly raised the handgun, the muzzle pointed at Caulifla's back, his finger tightly on the trigger, ready to fire at any moment.

However, just at the moment he was about to pull the trigger.

Swish!

A dark shadow flashed, so fast that the movement couldn't be seen clearly.

The Saiyan only felt his hand lighten, and when he looked down again, the gun in his hand was gone.

"Where's my gun?" He was stunned, looking blankly at his hand, then at his surroundings, completely not reacting to what had just happened.

The next second, the driver saw a handgun appear in the hand of a dark-skinned girl.

The dark-skinned girl stood with her hands behind her back, her fingertips lightly pinching the barrel of the handgun.

Crack!

A crisp sound.

With a slight effort from Kale, that metal handgun was forcibly pinched into a pile of twisted scrap metal, the fragments rustling down from between her fingers.

"Who is this guy? The speed is too fast!" The driver was dumbfounded. He had only seen a dark shadow flash just now, and the gun in his hand was gone. Now he had witnessed the opponent crushing the handgun with her bare hands, and his legs felt a bit weak with fear.

"Bye-bye! Next time you pass through here, remember to bring more supplies!" Caulifla waved her hand at them with a smug smile on her face, then turned and led her subordinates, swaggering away with the stolen supplies.

"Dammit!" The driver clenched his fists but could only watch them leave.

He knew he simply couldn't beat Caulifla, and chasing after them now would only be asking for trouble.

Caulifla led her subordinates back to her base.

This was a camp hidden in a valley, where most of the people living were orphans she had taken in.

When the children saw the food and daily necessities brought back, their eyes lit up one by one, and they excitedly gathered around, their chattering voices instantly filling the camp.

Just then, Cabba's figure appeared at the entrance of the base. Looking at the scene in the camp, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.

He didn't expect that Caulifla was actually taking care of so many children.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" An older child looked at him warily and questioned him loudly.

"This is our territory; get out now!" another child shouted, their face full of hostility.

One child even pulled a small handgun from their shirt. Although the gun wasn't large, they pointed it seriously at Cabba: "If you don't leave, I'll shoot!"

Cabba let out a helpless sigh and lightly raised a finger.

Shoo!

A weak energy wave shot out, accurately knocking the small handgun away without harming the child.

"Who on earth are you?" Caulifla heard the commotion and walked out of the tent, frowning as she sized up Cabba.

"You must be Ms. Caulifla, right?" Cabba retracted his energy and tried to make his tone sound as gentle as possible.

"What? Are you here to provoke me?" Caulifla snorted coldly, her arms crossed over her chest, her gaze carrying a hint of disdain.

Over the years, many people had come to provoke her, but in the end, they were all beaten away by her.

"I am here on the orders of Lord Renso to invite you to participate in the Tournament of Power," Cabba hurriedly explained, fearing another misunderstanding.

"My brother's orders? Participate in a competition?" Caulifla sneered, clearly not taking the words to heart. "Why should I listen to him?"

"This isn't an ordinary competition; it concerns the survival of our universe..." Cabba still wanted to explain, but was interrupted by Caulifla.

"If you want me to participate in a competition, defeat me first!" As Caulifla spoke, she suddenly kicked off the ground, her body rushing toward Cabba like an arrow leaving the bowstring, and she kicked out hard.

Bang!

Cabba didn't expect her to suddenly attack and didn't have time to fully dodge. He was kicked squarely in the chest and sent flying on the spot, passing through the camp gate and crashing heavily into a giant rock behind him. Several cracks instantly appeared on the rock's surface.

Caulifla led several subordinates out and looked down at him condescendingly: "You think you can order me around? Even if my brother came in person, he'd have to speak to me properly!"

A vein bulged on Caulifla's forehead; she was clearly truly angry.

She hated it most when people spoke to her in a commanding tone.

Cabba wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and slowly climbed up from the ground. His face was a bit pale, but he still insisted: "If we don't participate in the Tournament of Power, our Universe 6 will be erased by Lord Zeno and completely disappear."

"If it disappears, it disappears. What does that have to do with me?" Caulifla laughed contemptuously, her tone full of indifference. "I'll say it again: if you want me to go to this Tournament of Power you're talking about, defeat me first! But besides my brother, no Saiyan has ever been able to beat me."

"Is that so? Then watch closely." Cabba took a deep breath, and a dazzling golden light suddenly erupted from his body. Golden flames instantly enveloped him, and his hair turned golden and stood up in an instant.

Cabba directly activated the Super Saiyan transformation.

Seeing Cabba's sudden change, Caulifla was stunned on the spot, her eyes wide and her face written with disbelief: "W-W-What is this change? Why did your hair turn golden?"

In all her life, this was the first time Caulifla had seen a Saiyan in this form.

Swish!

Cabba's figure instantly disappeared from the spot and appeared behind Caulifla the next second.

Caulifla's reaction wasn't slow either; she subconsciously threw a punch toward her back, the wind from her fist carrying a sharp aura.

Pa!

Cabba just lightly raised an arm and easily caught her punch, his golden eyes showing no ripple of emotion: "This is called the Super Saiyan transformation. After transforming, my strength increases fifty-fold."

"W-W-What did you say? Fifty times?!" Caulifla was so shocked she stuttered, unable to believe there was such a transformation ability.

"The Saiyans of Universe 7 can all do this transformation," Cabba added another sentence. His tone was calm, but it made Caulifla even more surprised.

"Universe 7 or whatever... I have no idea what you're talking about!" Caulifla was stimulated by his words and let out a shout, launching a fierce attack on Cabba. Her punches and kicks fell like raindrops, each strike carrying full power.

However, Cabba just easily dodged, and Caulifla's attacks couldn't even touch the hem of his clothes.

After a few rounds, Caulifla was already a bit out of breath, while Cabba was still handling it with ease.

Bang!

Cabba caught a gap and kicked Caulifla in the waist.

Caulifla let out a cry of pain and was sent flying on the spot, crashing heavily into the giant rock behind her, which instantly had a large crater knocked into it.

Cabba's figure followed closely behind, his fist carrying golden flames as it swung toward Caulifla's face.

Looking at the fist getting closer and closer, Caulifla knew she couldn't dodge and could only close her eyes unwillingly.

However, the expected pain didn't come.

Caulifla froze for a moment and slowly opened her eyes, only to see Cabba's fist stopped in front of her, with a familiar small object in his hand.

It was the ornament stolen from the truck earlier, intended for the little Prince.

"W-When did you take this?" Caulifla subconsciously pulled at her collar, where the ornament had originally been pinned, but it was now completely empty. She hadn't noticed at all how the opponent had stolen it.
