Part 1: The Mysterious Letter
Rahul was a simple village boy who lived in a small house near a river. Every morning, he helped his father in the field and went to school in the afternoon. His life was normal and peaceful.
One day, when he returned home from school, he found a strange letter on his table. There was no sender's name on it. The envelope was old and dusty.
Rahul slowly opened the letter. Inside, there was a short message:
"If you want to know the truth about your past, come to the old banyan tree tonight at 8 PM."
Rahul's heart started beating fast.
What truth?
Who sent this letter?
He looked outside. The sun was slowly setting.
Part 2: The Old Banyan Tree
Rahul could not stop thinking about the letter. He tried to study, but his mind was full of questions. Finally, at 7:45 PM, he quietly left his house.
The old banyan tree was near the river. It was dark and silent. The wind was blowing softly, and the leaves were making strange sounds.
Rahul looked at his watch. 8:00 PM.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps behind him.
"Don't be afraid," a deep voice said.
Rahul turned around and saw an old man standing in the shadows. The man had kind eyes but looked very serious.
"You came," the old man said. "That means you are brave… just like your mother."
Rahul was shocked.
"My mother? What do you know about my mother?"
The old man stepped closer.
"The truth is… your mother was not an ordinary woman."
Rahul felt his world spinning.

Part 3: The Hidden Truth
The old man took a deep breath.
"Your mother was a guardian," he said. "She protected something very powerful."
Rahul felt confused. "Protected what?"
The old man pointed toward the river. "There is a hidden treasure beneath this village. Not gold… but something more valuable."
Rahul's heart raced. "Why are you telling me this?"
"Because," the old man said softly, "now it is your responsibility."
Before Rahul could ask anything more, the old man handed him a small silver key.
"This key will show you the path."
And then… the old man disappeared into the darkness.
Rahul stood alone, holding the key tightly.
Part 4: The Secret Beneath the River
The next morning, Rahul went to the river early. He remembered a small cave near the water — a place his mother once warned him about.
With shaking hands, he entered the cave.
Inside, he found an old wooden box. There was a tiny lock on it.
Rahul took out the silver key.

The box slowly opened.
Inside, there was not gold or money… but an ancient book. The book had strange symbols and a glowing mark on the cover.
Suddenly, the cave started shaking.
Rahul realized — someone else wanted this book too.
Part 5: The Guardian's Son
A group of men entered the cave.
"Give us the book!" one of them shouted.
Rahul remembered his mother's words: "Courage is stronger than fear."
He opened the book quickly. A bright light filled the cave. The men covered their eyes and ran away.
The shaking stopped.
Rahul understood the truth — the book was not just a treasure. It contained knowledge to protect the village from danger.
From that day, Rahul became the new guardian.
