Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Say Ahhh~

Chapter One

"Young Master, say ahhh~"

Ren, an ex army officer and a cripple who had lost both his legs during his second year of service was completely lost in the high definition R18 visuals that were playing on his VR headset.

And honestly, who could blame the man?

He had just spent his monthly pension on the "Banquet of the Immortals" VR expansion pack.

And, for a virgin man who might never have the chance of visiting the dating / marriage pool again.

It. Was. Worth. Every. Single. Penny.

In his headset, a beautiful maiden with huge breasts in a silk hanfu was delicately feeding him a glistening, honey-glazed spiritual peach.

"Mmm... so good..." Ren moaned, his eyes focused on her breasts.

"Really, Young-"

Before the woman could have had finished her sentence, Ren's vision went black.

'What is -'

BAM!

The VR exploded. Ren never felt the impact as the apartment was filled with smoke and silence. There was only a single conscious thought left as his soul faded away.

'Fuck! At least, they could have let me get laid in the VR before dying.'

Tringgg... Tringgg... Tringgg...

'Damn it. Do they have alarms even in hell?' Ren groaned, kicking his legs instinctively as he struggled to free himself from the blanket tangled around his body. The summer air entering the apartment room was thick and humid as it clinged onto Ren's skin suffocating him, making his irritation rise in his half-asleep state.

CRASH!

Ren's eyes snapped open at the sound as his military instincts kicked in. He shot upright in bed, his eyes diverting to the floor to analyse the source of sound.

An empty liquor bottle laid shattered into countless glittering shards, scattered across the wooden floor like broken memories.

Ren blinked slowly, rubbing his eyes, his gaze still locked on the glass.

'Didn't I quit drinking two years ago?' Ren's frown deepened. 'Then why the hell was there a bottle on my bed? And, how did it even fall down on the floor?' As if on cue Ren's toes twitched, making him freeze in time.

'Am I dreaming?' His eyes brimmed with joy as his hand gripped the blanket, throwing it off his body on the floor like a child unwrapping his Christmas present.

Ren pinched his thighs to confirm his findings as a sense of pain filled his nerves, making tears spring from his eyes. 'Heavens! My feet! I can feel my feet!'

For the first time in twenty years, Ren laughed. It was not the dry, bitter laugh of a broken soldier. But, the disbelieving, breathless laugh of a child who had been handed his broken toy back, fixed up and ready to go.

Ren's shiny eyes came in contact with the mirror as he looked up from his feet. Another shock knocking the air out of his lungs. 'Who is this?'

The reflection in the mirror was of a young man in his twenties. Black hair. Onyx eyes. A lean weak figure. Ren's mind gears started spinning as only one answer seemed to fit his situation.

'Did I get transmigrated into someone else's body?' A strong breeze entered the room through the window making the curtains flutter against the window as Ren got on his new feet.

His soul reeked of confusion. He didn't know whether he should be happy that he got his feet back. Or, worried that he was in a new world with absolutely no information or memories of the former owner.

'Wait! Cheat! That's it!' The thought immediately hit Ren as he remembered about the webnovels he had read in his past life. Ren walked towards the window as he closed it to focus better and use his past life's information to figure things out. 'System, Status.'

[Welcome to The Ultimate Tip System, host.]

[Name: Ren Esper]

[Age: 22]

[Profession: Professor]

[Currency: Dollars]

[Bank Balance: 19 Dollars]

Ren's eyes carefully read his current status as his mind started solving the mystery of his current state. 'So, I have possessed a guy with the same name as me. The currency here is the same as earth. And, as usual, I am broke.'

Ren sighed as he placed his hands on his hips looking around the room, searching for anything that could help him figure out his situation more clearly. However, unfortunately for him, the room reeked of alcohol and drugs. 'What the hell happened to the previous owner?'

Ren walked to the small dressing stand in the corner of the room as his eyes were greeted with three things. A sixteen carat diamond ring. An ID card. And, a photo frame.

With the current situation of the room it didn't take Ren long to figure out what happened to the original owner. So, avoiding the ring and the frame, Ren picked up the ID card instead.

Ren's fingers brushed against the laminated plastic. It was slightly sticky, likely from a spilled drink considering that the original owner of the body was drinking, but the information was clear.

'How can an Assistant Professor afford a sixteen carat ring of flawless colour?' Ren's eyes scrunched in confusion as he threw the ID card back where it was and decided to look for a phone or a similar kind of device to get more information.

Ringggg... Ringggg...

As if on cue, something on bed began ringing, Ren immediately rushed to the bed as he found a touch screen phone. Thankfully, it had a fingerprint unlock system. Ren quickly unlocked the phone as he checked the notifications.

27 Missed Calls From Loan Sharks.

'Haah.' Ren's eyes opened wide as he saw who was calling him. 'This guy took a look from loan sharks to buy such an expensive ring. What kind of spendthrift and alcoholic did I transmigrate into?!'

Ren felt a headache spike in his head as the blue screen flashed to life.
