Reagar Wilhelm was an ordinary resident of the the planet 'Earth' but one day he alongside many of the world's population ranging from 20 to 30 years of age were summoned to a place, and at that place a grand event was unfolding , a grand event that is held once in eons, The Tournament of Survival.
Where the lowest 1000 ranked Worlds of Universe participated and from them only top 100 would survive, remaining? They would be annihilated. One of those lowest 1000 ranked world was Earth.
The Human players were summoned to a vast plain situated somewhere in the vast Universe, All Reagar and other Players saw after getting summoned was a vast expanse stretching endlessly and sea of humans standing beside them.
The people standing on the edge of this human sea saw something which they have only heard about in stories and legends - other races, races resembling Elves, Demons, Dwarves,Golems etc. were standing beside the humans, there numbers varied, some had sea of people like the humans and some, like the race resembling Elves only had about a few hundreds. There were also other humans from other worlds.
Then came a voice from the sky and dozen people appeared in the sky, they called themselves the Representatives of the Transcendents,and told them the reason they were summoned here.
Tournament of Survival is an event that happens every few eons,where the lowest 1000 ranked worlds are pitted against each other and from those only top 100 survives, others? They are deemed unworthy and erased from the Universe.
After telling them the reason for their summon, the players were then told the rules of the tournament, the tournament was divided into several rounds and during the course of the tournament players can Level up and gain powers just like in games played on earth.
After the explanation ended, humans were then teleported inside a dome like structure, this was the safe zone and also the resting area, Every player from thier respective worlds were teleported to thier own safe zones and each zone had a huge screen from which the players can see thier own participating and fighting in the tournament,
And thus started the Tournament of Survival....
The tournament was divided into rounds and each round had its own requirement for the numbers of players, one round required only 1 participant from a zone, another round required 10, another round required 1000, and the rest could only watch from the zone.
In the tournament players played rounds like individual fights ,group fights, battle Royale, army fights etc. and every round brought points. These points determined the ranking of the worlds.
The humans were the weakest race in the tournament as other races has some innate powers or Talents, It can be said that the tournament was made somewhat fair as everybody can lvl up and Gain power after finishing rounds and killing others and number of players summoned from a single world varied for each race and this variation was made to give weak races a chance to contend with the stronger races.
But other races still held the advantage due to their higher stats from start and their innate powers,the only advantage the humans had was thier numbers ,like from earth alone a million humans participated whereas one of the Strongest race- Elves only had 1000 participants from one world.
Humans had only a slight advantage in large group and large scale army fight rounds, and for other rounds like individual fights they could only hope to encounter another weak race, and if someone was unlucky to encounter a player form the strong race,that player was brutally butcherd.
Reagar was the top points scorer and possible the strongest human from earth, he had gained massive amount of points for earth and even had reached Lvl. 58 and gained powers beyond what he thought was possible before being summoned, His strength,speed,perception etc. all had tremendously increased, his punches now formed craters on the surface, his speed became so fast he would appear blur to a normal human. He was becoming the guardian of humanity and hope for those participating alongside him.
But during the tournament Reagar came to know and saw a bitter truth that how humans from his or other worlds were treated like low lives by the stronger races and were brutally killed ,tortured and mutilated in the rounds, They were treated as free points and level ups.
This ignited anger and hatred in him for those races that treated humans like insects and this hatred reached its peak in a round where one of the human belonging to earth was brutally killed by a demon (one of the races contending for top 10). His Hatred was almost brushing for Demons as they were most proactive in torturing and mutilation humans.
And by chance he was matched with a demon in an individual fight round, the demon was only lvl 30,that demon provoked Reagar by saying how he would enjoy killing him and later killing all of humanity and how much he loved the juicy meat of humans.
Reagar was so furious after hearing this that cleched his fists so tight that blood strated flowing out and then he unleashed his fury ,he moved so fast that he appeared blur to the demon, and smashed his fist into the demon's head,the force behind the punch was such that demon's head was blasted to smithereens.... and the headless body fell to the ground.
Although Reagar unleashed his fury and killed the demon, this act of his started a full fledged war between humans and demons as the demon that Reagar had killed was the little brother of the leader of Demons in this tournament - Vhurg.
And from then the tournament become a ground for war between humans and demons, demons started to target humans even in multi world rounds where more than one world fought with each other they ignored other races and butcherd humans and this turned the tournament which was already bloody into a bloodbath.Whenever a human came across a demon on any round he was devoured but now at the same time humans had also started to fight and kill demons and used any method they can, Reagar especially killed demons at every chance he got.
And then an individual fight came which ended this war between humans and demons and decided the fate of humanity...
