CHAPTER 14
Celia stood frozen, completely dumbfounded by what he had just heard. How was he supposed to get anything out of this man? Confusion and panic clawed at his chest as he struggled to figure out his next move.
Without a word, Cas reached into his coat, pulled out a sleek, sharp blade from God knows where, and forced it into Celia's palm.
Celia's fingers instinctively curled around the hilt. He stared down at the cold steel, his dark hazel eyes narrowing.
He had no intention of stabbing anyone he fought with his brain and hands, not killing and he wasn't about to start butchering people for Alessandro.
"Alessandro, I don't get—"
"Ask him why he was stalking you yesterday," Alessandro cut in coldly, ignoring Celia's protest completely. He leaned back at the wall, his unyielding gaze locking onto him.
"Don't be a crybaby. Get him talking. That's your job now." Celia swallowed his spite, his jaw setting hard.
