CHAPTER 16
Celia barely slept. He spent the entire night tossing and turning on the oversized bed, haunted by restless, fragmented dreams.
When the 6:00 AM alarm finally blared, his hand shot out and slapped it silent. Seconds later, Cas threw the door open without knocking.
"Get up, punk," Cas growled, leaning against the frame. "We've got a long day."
Celia didn't move. True to his stubborn nature, he stayed buried under the covers, stubbornly pretending to sleep even though his mind was already racing.
Cas rolled his eyes. He still couldn't understand why Alessandro was keeping this kid around to work off a debt. One billion euros was pocket change to a man like Alessandro. Besides, Celia wasn't even the boss's usual type. And the spying assignment made even less sense, Alessandro already had someone embedded in that rival circuit.
