Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 – The Secret Strike

The early morning sun bathed the Unknown District in soft gold. The family's mansion was quiet — Ryūjin and Meilin were discussing the upcoming market visit, while the children prepared for their morning training.

Everything seemed normal… but beneath the calm surface, something extraordinary had already occurred.

A Hidden Event

Far away, in the twisting dimensions beyond the city, a high-level entity known only as Q&Q&A&C had been eliminated.

No alarms sounded. No signs of struggle remained. Only the faintest ripple of reality hinted at the act — a ripple so subtle that Ryūjin himself did not feel it, even though he was normally sensitive to all disturbances in the world.

At Home

In the garden, Ayame, the eldest daughter, twirled a small spark of light between her fingers, her face calm and composed.

Kaizen noticed her strange smile. "Ayame… what are you thinking about?"

She glanced at him casually. "Nothing… just… a little experiment."

Haruto frowned. "Experiment? That looked serious."

Ayame giggled softly. "Don't worry. Everything's fine."

Unbeknownst to them, the "experiment" had already reached beyond the mansion, touching a powerful existence that even Ryūjin would later realize was gone.

Ryūjin's Calm Ignorance

Ryūjin strolled into the garden, observing his children. "Focus on your training. Control, not raw power."

Meilin noticed his calm tone. "You don't feel anything?"

Ryūjin shook his head. "No. Everything is quiet… for now."

He had no idea that Ayame had acted on her own, her instincts, skills, and a tiny fraction of her latent power resulting in the elimination of Q&Q&A&C — an act that would send ripples across worlds.

Outside Repercussions

In a distant plane, observers scrambled, panic in their voices.

"The entity… it's gone. Q&Q&A&C… eliminated? Impossible!"

"It had defenses… it should have survived!"

But none of them realized that the killer was a child, seemingly innocent, from the family they had been watching.

A Whisper of Power

Ayame returned to the garden, her face calm. She knelt beside her father, unaware of the scale of what she had just done.

Ryūjin smiled faintly, oblivious. "Good. Your form is improving."

Kaizen frowned, confused. "Something feels… strange. Did anyone else feel that?"

Ayame shook her head. "No. I'm fine."

The truth lingered only in the shadows — a single action from one child had altered the balance of power in multiple worlds, and Ryūjin remained unaware, his calm exterior hiding both his presence and the immense capabilities of his children.
