Ian Chandler produced an exquisite ladies' pistol, as if by magic.
It was clearly for a woman, given its small, delicate frame.
"A gift for you, Miss Jacobs."
Ian Chandler's words left Nina Jacobs stunned for a moment.
'The Ian Chandler from my past life was just like this, always mysteriously pulling all sorts of wonderful things out of his space to give to me...'
But Nina Jacobs remembered to play along. "Where did you get this?" she asked, feigning surprise. "Is it a magic trick?"
Ian Chandler beamed. "From now on, Miss Jacobs, if you have anything important, you can leave it with me."
"I can keep it safe for you in my space."
As he spoke, he placed his hand on the nightstand, and it vanished in an instant.
"You have a space? How big is it?"
"About as big as the area from the front yard to the backyard."
Ian Chandler was referring to the entire Hale Family villa, from the front yard to the back.
"You're really incredible, then."
Nina Jacobs praised him sincerely.
