Chapter 4 - The True Color of Holi

The festival of Holi was near, and the whole village was full of excitement. Shops were filled with bright colors, and the smell of sweets like Gujiya filled the air. Children were happily buying colors and water balloons.

In the village lived a small boy named Rohan. Holi used to be his favorite festival because he celebrated it every year with his father. They would laugh, play with colors, and share sweets together.

But this year was different. A few months earlier, Rohan's father had gone to another city for work. For the first time, Rohan would celebrate Holi without him.

On the morning of Holi, the village was full of music and laughter. Children ran through the streets throwing colors at each other. But Rohan sat quietly outside his house, watching others play.

His mother noticed his sadness and gently asked, "Why aren't you playing with your friends?"

Rohan looked down and said softly, "Holi isn't the same without Papa."

His mother smiled kindly and said, "Your father may be far away, but his love is always with you."

Just then, Rohan's friends came running to his house. They shouted, "Rohan, come play Holi with us!"

Before he could answer, one of them gently put a little pink color on his cheek and said, "Happy Holi!"

Soon everyone started laughing and playing together. They shared sweets, danced to music, and filled the air with bright colors.

In the evening, when Rohan returned home tired but happy, he saw his mother holding the phone. His father was calling from the other city.

"Happy Holi, my champion!" his father said proudly.

Rohan's face lit up with joy. At that moment, he realized something important.

Holi was not only about colors and celebrations. It was about love, friendship, and the people who make our lives colorful.

✨ Moral: The true colors of Holi are love, family, and togetherness. 🌈
