Third-person POV
5 o'clock p.m., and in the dining room in Sora's penthouse on the top floor, the atmosphere is so thick it can be cut by a katana. At one end of the table, Sora and Michiyo were glaring daggers at each other on opposite sides of that side of the table while Rathanak was on the side. On the table sat 3 plates of colored mochi and some chewy chocolate chip cookies complete with 3 Japanese glasses of tea. The expensive-looking grandpa clock was ticking consistently.
"Man, this is so quiet and awkward…" Rathanak's mind said while he was laughing nervously.
"So, Michiyo," Sora started while using his bamboo chopsticks to pick up one of the sticky mochi, "how are you now in your life."
Taking a sip of his tea, Michiyo replied, "Oh, it's fine. I was doing fine."
"I hoped you got a stable job to support yourself," Sora responded while meeting his gaze at his ex-member. "Do you have a job?"
"Oh, course, boss, I do, as a TV repairman. I was doing well."
"Is that so? Since when you started fixing TVs?" Sora raised an eyebrow.
"Remember you taught me how to fix your TVs in this building?" Michiyo smirked.
"Oh, right, right. I see then. Carry on."
Rathanak haven't touched his mochi, cookies, and tea for the first 5 minutes of the meeting.
"Hey, Rathanak-kun," Sora said to Rathanak, snapping his focus from gazing at them. "You haven't touched your snack. Are you okay?"
Rathanak did snap out and replied, "Y-Yes, I am. Sora-san."
As Rathanak took a mochi with a pair of chopsticks and ate it, Sora responded, "Before you doubt your peacemaker move at the basement, it was okay. You prevented a bloodshed that would have cost more."
"Oh! Um, okay, thanks."
"So brave…Murakami-san…" Michiyo gazed at Rathanak like a predator and the Red Rings of Obsession flared on his eyes again.
A pair of bamboo chopsticks hit his head with a mild twack.
"Manners, Michiyo!" Sora barked.
Michiyo's smirk didn't falter and ate his first mochi with his wooden chopsticks.
"Besides, boss," Michiyo said while doing a series of slow chews of his sticky snack, "how I tracked down Murakami-san last night is hacking into his Google account and copied his-"
"You did what?!" Sora was angry at him, slamming his fist on the table.
"So that's how…" Rathanak muttered while the memories of Michiyo's kinetic assassination of him via his phone's screen and a phone call last night.
"Is that true?" Sora responded.
"Yes, vâng (yes in Vietnamese)," Rathanak firmly admitted. "He called me last night, whispered "bang" while doing the Hiro-style gun gesture at me, and boom, a kinetic air shot me in the kitchen at home. I guessed hacking into my Google account is a way to target me…"
"That was entertaining…" Michiyo maliciously chuckled.
"Not entertaining!" Rathanak's mind hissed in objection.
Looking at his former member, Sora let out a deep sigh as if he was disappointed at his antics. "Just what I knew about your peculiar yet deadly weapon, Michiyo-kun. Why?"
"Why, for entertainment…" Michiyo leaned on his seat while eating his cookie. "I had scored 20 victims, and 3, including Rathanak-kun," survived my attacks."
"He is a serial killer!" Rathanak's and Sora's minds hissed in unison.
