Bianca approached with her signature calculated grace, every movement designed to showcase how naturally she belonged in this elite world. Her cream-colored outfit probably cost more than I earned in months, her hair styled to perfection, makeup so flawless it looked professionally touched up moments before.
As if my evening needed another complication, Julian materialized directly behind her.
Instinctively, my fingers interlaced with Sebastian's, holding tight. He caught my expression immediately, his demeanor shifting as he grasped what we were facing.
"Sebastian Sterling," Bianca said with practiced smoothness, her professional smile unable to hide the scheming glint in her gaze. "How delightful to see you here. Sterling Wineries has been such a valued client."
"Miss Thorne," Sebastian responded, his courtesy laced with ice. "Dominic oversees those arrangements."
