Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 – The Awakening of the Boons

The forest was silent.

Tall sal trees stretched toward the sky while the silver moonlight fell across the flowing river.

Rudra sat cross-legged beside the water.

Just hours ago he had been a normal man from the 21st century in Telangana.

Now he was standing in the ancient world of the Mahabharata.

And he carried three boons from Lord Shiva.

Rudra slowly closed his eyes.

Immediately his consciousness sank inward.

Inside his mind appeared something magnificent.

A vast golden structure.

A library larger than any city.

Endless shelves stretched toward infinity.

Each shelf contained glowing manuscripts, scrolls, tablets, and books.

Yet most of them were sealed with divine locks.

Rudra whispered.

"Library… show accessible knowledge."

A small portion of the library lit up.

Several scrolls floated toward him.

Rudra smiled faintly.

"So only beginner knowledge is unlocked."

A divine voice echoed through the library.

"Knowledge will unlock when conditions are fulfilled."

Rudra wasn't surprised.

If he could access future knowledge instantly, the timeline itself would collapse.

Lord Shiva clearly designed the system carefully.

Rudra then checked another section.

Support Knowledge.

More scrolls appeared.

His eyes widened.

"So this is how the comprehension boon works…"

He could learn extremely fast, but he still needed practice.

The library accelerated learning but did not replace effort.

Suddenly his stomach growled.

Rudra laughed.

"First challenge of time travel… hunger."

He opened the herb knowledge scroll.

Within seconds, information flooded his mind.

He stood up and walked into the forest.

Moments later he found edible berries and medicinal leaves.

After eating, he returned to the river.

The stars above the ancient sky looked brighter than anything he had seen in the modern world.

Rudra stared at them silently.

Somewhere in this world lived legends.

Warriors.

Kings.

Sages.

And the heroes whose actions would decide the fate of the Mahabharata.

Rudra clenched his fists.

"If I am here… destiny will change."

Just then—

Rustling sounds emerged from the forest.

Three bandits stepped out.

"Well well… a traveler," one of them laughed.

Rudra slowly stood.

His body instinctively adjusted.

The Adaptable Body boon activated.

The first bandit attacked.

Rudra stepped aside.

Twisted the attacker's wrist.

CRACK.

The sword dropped.

Rudra grabbed it instantly.

The other two bandits froze.

Even Rudra looked surprised.

"That worked better than expected."

The bandits immediately ran away.

Rudra sat down again, breathing heavily.

Small wounds on his arms began glowing faintly.

Within seconds they healed.

His Healing ability had activated.

But a warning appeared inside the library.

"Healing consumes spiritual energy."

Rudra nodded.

"Balanced power."

He looked toward the distant horizon.

The world was vast.

And he had just taken his first step.
