The Crimson Ritual
The village elder, a woman with milky-white eyes named Martha, tells Julian that the soil of Oakhaven requires a "gift" every fifty years to stay fertile. Julian laughs it off as local superstition. However, that night, he wakes up to find a straw doll exactly like the ones on the tree sitting on his chest. It has his camera strap around its neck.
