Springweed spent night and day talking to Axel, this went on for weeks, Axel was able to talk after a while but in short yelling utterances. "YOU'RE SMART LITTLE FLESHSACK"! He says to Springweed. "Springweed" Springweed mouths to Axel. "SPRINGCLEAN"! Axel yells. Springweed laughs. "YOU'RE SMART SPRINGCLEAN"! Axel laughs stomping on the floor. "Spring-weed" Springweed mouths again. "THINGFEED" Axel hollers gibberish. "Let's move on" Springweed sighed as he did Administrator Zale entered the room. "How's our happy camper". He asked Springweed. "THINGFEED TEACH AXEL TO TALK"! Axel yelled accidentally spitting in Zale's face. "Axel, funny Springweed you named him"? Zale asked wiping his face off disgusted. "He named himself Zale". Springweed responded rubbing the back of his head. "Smart, now Axel I need you to walk with me". Zale said Instructing Axel to follow. "I WILL FOLLOW YOU CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN"! Axel yelledvas he followed. "Right" Administrator Zale chuckled and the two went around the corner and disappeared from Springweed's sight.
They arrived in the inner sanctum of the Dreadcorp foundation. Where Knight Lazlo stood with the other Knights Of Dreadcorp. Axel saw Lazlo and greeted her. "SORRY FOR MY DINGO HANGING OUT PRETTY LADY". He said and her face got red again turning away. "Idiot" she said to him. The other Knights Cicero and Fredrick laughed: "He's such an idiot look at him". Axel heard this and ran back hugging them both. "I WILL CRUSH YOUR BONES INTO DUST"! . Axel hollered holding Knights Fredrick and Cicero in a tight bear hug. "FUCK HES STRONG"! Fredrick gasped. Cicero managed to grab the tazer from his side shocking Axel in the neck. "THIS ITCHES"! Axel yelled never letting go of Cicero and Fredrick. "AXEL RELEASE THEM"! Zale yelled holding a laser rifle to the back of Axel's head. Axel did as he was told. "YOURE LUCKY WEE FLESHSACKS"! Axel yelled in both their faces. Knight Lazlo laughed trying to cover her face. "PRETTY LADY LAUGHS" Axel yelled pointing at Lazlo. "No I didn't you're seeing things". Lazlo said to Axel as the others stared at her red face. "What are you looking at, get back to work" Lazlo sneered. "GET BACK TO WORK" Axel yelled at them. The room continued moving as if everything was normal. "I guess you're not such an idiot". Lazlo said looking at Axel. "AXEL SMART TOO"! Axel yelled pointing to his head. "I guess you are Axel, I guess you are". Lazlo smiled at him walking away. "PRETTY LADY SMILES" Axel hollers jumping in the air in triumph, when he landed he shook the ground and dozens of Knights and scientists fell on their side. "Axel calm down" Zale instructs Axel and as they were talking a mutant creature drops from the high ceiling, it's flesh looks like it's melting off its body. "RUGURU"! Zale yelled firing his laser rifle at the mutant zombie. The zombie kept running at the scientists in the room, a Axel immediately ran after it like a dog chasing a bone. The Ruguru screeched swinging it's claws at the scientists flesh dripping onto the floor. Knights came and swung their swords at it, the Ruguru jumped on the ceiling crawling, Axel crawled after it the Ruguru screeched at Axel. "DO NOT HIDE BROTHER, I ONLY WISH TO GIVE YOU A BIG HUG"! Axel yelled continuing to go after the Ruguru. It dropped onto the floor attacking the Knights as the Knights were defending against its bite being extremely careful not to get bitten, it bit one of their swords holding on for dear life pieces of it's flesh splattering everywhere. Axel grabbed it by the skull throwing it into the ceiling after it fell Axel caught it throwing it against the wall with all of its might. It screeched weakly trying to get up shaking off its injuries it ran at Axel screaming and screeching swinging it's claws, Axel got scratched but Axel was unmoved as the zombie bit his arm. "THATS NOT NICE"! Axel yelled throwing the Ruguru back with ten times the strength of a normal human splattering it on the nearby wall, it's arms fell off but it still kept running back at Axel, until Axel punched a hole in its head. It fell on the floor dead. Zale was breathing heavy and so was Lazlo and the others in the room. "AXEL KILL"! Axel said throwing the leftover brain matter and flesh on his arm on the floor. "Good job Axel, Good job" Zale said tapping Axel's shoulder. "AXEL GOOD"! Axel responded, zombie blood dripping from his hand. Zale points to the dead zombie on the floor. "Ruguru...bad". He said to Axel. "RUGURU BAD AXEL KILL"! Axel yelled. "Yes Axel Kill Ruguru" Lazlo said looking Axel in his eyes, his inferred eye twitching. "PRETTY LADY LIKE AXEL KILL RUGURU"! Axel says looking at Lazlo. "Ruguru bad, Ruguru is mutant dangerous". Lazlo mouths to Axel. "Ruguru dan...ger...ous". Axel mouths. "How did it get in" Zale asked and Lazlo pointed up at a nearby hole, Zale's eyes grew wide. "Lazlo....ready the Knights". Zale said starting to walk up the nearby stairs, he passed where the hole was and Axel followed. Above the sublevel there were dozens of holes Ruguru had tried to infiltrate Dreadcorp. "We're in trouble" Zale said examining the holes. Some Ruguru had gotten bored chewing through the metal but inside Zale knew there would be more someday.
"I SMELL ASS SWEAT AND FLESH"! Axel yelled. Zale turned to Axel rubbing his eyes. "Okay that's enough for today, I return you to Springweed". "BRINGPEE"! Axel hollered pumping his fists in the air. "We're screwed" Zale says walking behind Axel down the hall back to Springweed's quarters.
When they arrived an elderly bald man was waiting for them, his face withered with age but still strong. Zale bowed in respect "High Founder Reddick" Zale says. "It occurs to me a zombie is walking around in my fortress and I demand to know why"? Reddick says in a stern tone looking at Axel. "High Founder... Axel" Springweed started to say Reddick put his hand up. "I do not want to hear it, come on Eobard Zale your father would be ashamed". Reddick said and Zale's face fell. "ZALE IS SMART YOU DUMB"! Axel said and Reddick pulled out a laser pistol holding it to Axel's head. "If one of you don't tell this abomination to shut it's hole right now I'm going to kill it". Reddick said coldly his fingers never leaving the barrel of the gun. "Axel stand down, this is not the person to do that to". Springweed said pulling Axel down. "Chill out you big dope, this man is important". He continued but explaining to Axel who this man was, it was like explaining quantum pyschics to a baby. "Tomorrow you send it out into the wasteland or kill it". Reddick said in the same cold manner. "High Founder please you do not understand". Springweed pleaded with Reddick. "Axel is different, he shows unexplained semi mutations, the virus just bonds to his genome it doesn't take over". Springweed kept pleading with Reddick until Reddick couldn't stand it anymore. "You have three days Terrance three days, if he is not of any use to us out into the wasteland he goes and if he dies that's nature". Reddick finishes talking to Springweed and instructs Zale out into the hall.
"Your Father was killed by a Ruguru or do you not remember". Reddick scolded Zale. "Springweed says Axel is what we've been looking for a possible cure". Zale said. "Terrance has lost his mind from years of being underground and the fumes of his workshop he is unfit to make decisions here you are his commanding officer. Reddick says. "I'm inclined to side with him on this, Axel killed a Ruguru not even a half hour ago". Zale confessed "Really"? Reddick asked stroking his beard. "With his bare hands sir". Zale said. "Fine, let's see if "Axel" can prove himself useful if not, you and Terrance will follow him". Reddick says walking off down the hallway. Zale shakes his head looking inside Springweeds quarters as he keeps examining Axel. "I hope you know what you're doing Springweed". He sighs walking away from Springweed's quarters.
