Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reincarnated as the Raiden Shogun

Year 1500 of the Sea Calendar, East Blue.

On the boundless horizon of the sea, a small island stood alone. The center of the island was overgrown with trees, and the sounds of birds chirping and beasts roaring echoed from within from time to time.

Suddenly, a figure appeared out of thin air on the sandy beach, accompanied by a long-handled Naginata stabbing into the sand.

"Ding, target deployment complete," the system announced.

White suddenly woke up, gasping for air. The feeling of falling just now was terrifying. Looking up and seeing the unfamiliar surroundings, she was a bit dazed.

"Where is this? Wasn't I sleeping in my room?" She looked around at the woods, the beach, the sea, and a blade. She looked down at her clothes and a body that was clearly not her own.

"I've transmigrated... and I've transmigrated as the Raiden Shogun? That shouldn't be right. I wasn't hit by a truck, I didn't die from staying up late, and I didn't bash some author's trash novel in the comments. How could it be the turn of a nobody like me to transmigrate!"

As an otaku, she realized she had transmigrated as the Raiden Shogun the moment she saw the Naginata and the clothes on her body. After all, no one would give someone a new body and dress them up exactly like the Raiden Shogun for no reason.

"Have I transmigrated to Teyvat? Is there a golden finger? System?"

"Ding, keyword detected. Starting memory transfer."

Hearing this voice in her head, White felt things were about to go south. In novels, memory transfers always involve passing out. She was all alone here; if something unpleasant happened, it would be bad, especially since she had no experience in this area.

She didn't pass out as imagined. Her brain processed the memories smoothly, but White didn't feel happy. Tears fell uncontrollably, and her heart felt as painful as if it had been stabbed by ten thousand knives.

For someone who lived in a peaceful era with no burdens or responsibilities, Raiden Ei's memories almost made her die from the pain—perhaps she already had.

Scene after scene in her mind felt as if she had experienced them personally.

She closed her eyes to calm herself down and settle her emotions. It took a good while to regain her composure, but she still felt terrible, so she could only look for some beautiful memories to focus on.

However, seeing a light screen in her mind, she shifted her attention and concentrated her consciousness on it.

"Is this the system? It's in my head. Didn't I transmigrate to Teyvat? Why is there Haki? Isn't that a setting from One Piece?" She was a bit confused. Had she transmigrated into One Piece? It wasn't impossible.

Looking at these abilities that were clearly from the One Piece setting, she realized she had been reincarnated into the world of One Piece.

"System, is there a starter pack?"

"Is this any different from the novels I've been reading lately? Reincarnate as the Raiden Shogun and then become invincible under heaven."

She felt like just slacking off, but Raiden Ei's memories surfaced, dispelling the thought.

"Shogun it is, then! When I walk upon the seas in the future, I shall be called the Raiden Shogun!

The name White is a bit too weak and doesn't match my current appearance at all," White said, somewhat resigned to her fate.

Raiden Ei pulled the Naginata from the sand and swung it a few times. She wasn't used to it; although there were many martial arts in her memory, she needed to relearn them herself.

Holding the kusanagi in her hand, she infused it with Elemental Power according to the method in her memories. The blade immediately flashed with lightning.

Raiden Ei tested it curiously: "Is this Elemental Power? How miraculous!" She swung the kusanagi forward in a slashing motion, and a lightning-clad slash over a meter long flew from the blade toward the mountain forest ahead.

It easily sliced several large trees in half before the slash dissipated.

Raiden Ei was very satisfied with this scene. She had caused such destruction without much effort; if she used her full strength, she could surely give the island a new 'haircut.'

However, she hadn't noticed that there was no Elemental Power in this world, and she had no way to replenish it.

She swung the kusanagi a few more times but felt a lack of substance, so she walked toward the woods. The Raiden Shogun's attire was beautiful, but she felt like she wasn't wearing anything on her lower body, which she wasn't used to.

Walking into the woods, Raiden Ei prepared to test the system's functions. If she didn't figure it out, she probably wouldn't be able to sleep—just like in a game where you finally pull your favorite character after grinding for a long time; even if you're exhausted, you have to play a few rounds to satisfy yourself.

Raiden Ei placed her hand on the large tree that had just been cut down by her slash, but the system displayed nothing. She then placed her hand on a living tree, and still, nothing was displayed. It was probably useless.

Raiden Ei looked at the forest and thought for a long time before deciding to venture in. She was already in another world, and there was a high probability it was One Piece.

Although she had only watched One Piece up to Wano Country, she still remembered some important plot points. Pirates were the norm here—pirates who burned, killed, looted, and committed all sorts of evils were everywhere.

This wasn't the peaceful era from before her transmigration. Since she had such great potential, if she didn't work hard, she would surely be scolded to death by her transmigrator predecessors.

Raiden Ei shook her head, tossing away the distracting thoughts. Her bangs and the long braid reaching down to her hips swayed with the movement, looking incredibly beautiful.

Stepping forward, she walked into the forest. There were many martial arts in Raiden Ei's current memories; she had only glanced at them briefly but felt as if she already knew them.

It was just that she hadn't personally put them into practice yet. Furthermore, her memory was incredibly good; she could now recall every detail of what had just happened.

Holding the kusanagi, Raiden Ei walked quickly toward the direction where she sensed a large beast in the forest.

The forest wasn't large, and she arrived in ten minutes. She saw a large black Gorilla, about three meters tall, with thick fur. Its sturdy arms were as thick as her current waist, and its mouth was filled with sharp teeth and protruding tusks, looking extremely fierce.

If she had seen such a beast before transmigrating, her legs would have definitely turned to jelly. But the current Raiden Ei was no longer the former White.

The scenes of Gods and the Archon War in Raiden Ei's memories were countless times more terrifying than this.

"This should be the overlord of this forest. I don't sense anything stronger than it."

Many Gorillas surrounded her; they had seen this bipedal creature long ago, but they hadn't attacked because her aura was very strong.

Raiden Ei walked boldly through the group of Gorillas, heading straight for the large Gorilla, prepared to strike at any moment.

The large Gorilla probably hadn't been challenged by any creature in a long time. It had been the undisputed boss of the island for many years.

Now a little bug had come along, releasing an aura that terrified its subjects into not attacking. Having to handle it personally was simply unforgivable.

The large Gorilla let out a great roar. "ROAR!"

The sound waves from the roar bent the nearby grass.
