Chapter 1 - Towers

In a parallel world, the year was 1995.

It was a time of peace.

But suddenly, across every major population center on Earth, people felt a violent high-frequency earthquake. The ground shook without warning. Buildings collapsed, roads cracked open, and chaos spread through every city.

The earthquake lasted twenty minutes.

When the shaking finally stopped and the dust began to settle, people saw something impossible.

A tower stood at the center of every major city.

Each tower rose straight into the sky, so tall that its top could not be seen from the ground.

Governments around the world fell into panic. Emergency meetings were held day and night as leaders tried to understand what had happened.

After 2 Days

The towers appeared to be completely dormant.

There was no movement, no sound, and no visible activity around them.

It looked as if some cosmic giant had simply driven enormous metal rods into the hearts of the world's cities.

The damage was catastrophic.

Millions of people had been displaced or killed by the incident.

In some countries, reports suggested that more than one-fifth of the population living in major cities had been wiped out.

The event became known as one of the most tragic days in human history.

After 1 Year

Cities were rebuilt at a pace the world had never seen before.

An enormous global relief effort began, and reconstruction started around the towers themselves.

Why?

Because billions of people still lived in the urban regions of the world, and relocating everyone elsewhere was simply impossible.

Meanwhile, governments conducted countless experiments on the towers.

Scientists studied them day and night.

But every test failed.

The towers were enormous cylindrical structures made of a smooth metallic material. From the ground, their tops were invisible.

From space, the ends of the towers were hidden behind dense clouds that constantly surrounded them.

No plane or bird could fly near them. Anyone who tried would suddenly lose their sense of direction.

The towers were indestructible.

Even nuclear weapons had no effect.

The United States had tested this personally.

Not even a single scratch appeared on the tower's surface.

And so the towers remained there.

Silent.

Dormant.

Unmoving.

Like massive metal pillars piercing the sky.

But then—

One Day

Every person on Earth suddenly heard a voice.

Not through speakers.

Not through phones.

It echoed directly inside their minds.

|| WORLD NOTICE: Every person in the world, listen to the judgement of the Creator. ||

Everything stopped.

Workers froze in the middle of their tasks. Drivers halted their cars. Conversations died mid-sentence.

Fear spread across the planet.

Some people were confused.

Others felt a deep sense of dread.

|| WORLD NOTICE: The Towers will now be operational. ||

|| WORLD NOTICE: Certain individuals will be randomly selected and granted the power to climb the Floors. ||

At that moment, a brilliant light appeared within every tower on Earth.

|| WORLD NOTICE: Tower Floors must be claimed. ||

|| WORLD NOTICE: Deadline to clear Floor 1 — [1 YEAR] ||

The world fell into chaos.

Governments panicked.

People panicked.

No one knew what the towers were.

No one knew what waited inside them.

But one thing was clear to everyone.

A deadline had been given.

And nothing good ever came from a deadline like this because people still haven't forgotten about the catastrophic incident that happened a year ago.

Then, without warning—

People began to disappear.

Across the entire world, individuals vanished instantly, as if erased from existence.

Later, estimates would reveal the number.

0.01% of the world's population had suddenly gone missing. Around 800,000 people went missing.

After 1 Year

One year passed after the mysterious announcement.

During that entire time, the people who had suddenly disappeared were believed to be dead.

Governments searched desperately, but no trace of them was ever found.

Then, exactly one year later, something unbelievable happened.

The missing people reappeared.

They appeared suddenly in different parts of the world—some in cities, some in villages, and some even in the same locations where they had originally disappeared.

At first glance, they looked exactly the same as before. They were wearing same clothes as the day they disappeard.

But something was different.

Their bodies seemed stronger, their movements sharper, and many witnesses claimed that they carried a strange aura around them. Some could lift objects far heavier than before, while others reacted to danger with unnatural speed.

It was as if they had returned…

changed.

Before anyone could understand what had happened, the same mysterious voice echoed once again in the minds of every person on Earth.

|| WORLD NOTICE: Stage 1 Cleared – Tutorial Phase Over ||

|| WORLD NOTICE: Floor 2 Deadline [10 Years] ||

The announcement caused another wave of confusion across the planet.

However, this time the world finally had answers.

Within a few days, governments began gathering testimonies from the returned individuals. Through countless interviews and investigations, the basic truth slowly became clear.

The Towers were not simple structures.

They were gateways.

Each tower floor contained an entire separate world, vast enough to rival the size of Earth itself.

These worlds were inhabited by many different races and civilizations that existed within the world, that made up the floor.

The towers functioned like a bridges connecting parallel worlds.

The people who had disappeared were taken to those worlds and given a new identity.

They were called Players.

Inside the towers, players received a mysterious interface known as a Status Screen, similar to those found in MMORPG games.

Each player was assigned unique quests, and completing these quests allowed them to grow stronger.

When entering the tower, every player was allowed to choose one of five classes:

Mage

Knight

Summoner

Priest

Assassin

Each class possessed its own abilities and growth path.

However, there was also a shared objective for every player on the first floor.

Deep within that world existed a powerful being known as the World Administrator.

According to the players, it took the form of a gigantic Black Tortoise, a creature so massive that entire mountains looked small beside it.

Defeating the World Administrator would complete the floor's main objective.

And once it was defeated, something incredible happened.

Every surviving player received a message on their status screen.

|| Floor 1 Cleared ||

|| Now Players can freely travel b/w earth and Floor 1||

Most players chose to return.

And so, after one long year, the first group of humanity's Players came back to Earth.

But their return marked the beginning of a new era.

Because the towers were far from finished.

The next floor had already begun.

And this time, humanity had ten years before the next deadline arrived.
