Chapter 33 - The Alpha Challenge

The clearing became completely silent after Victor's challenge.

Two powerful Alphas stood facing each other.

Jayden's pack watched nervously.

The Northern Fang warriors stood confidently behind their leader.

Ariana felt her heart racing.

"This is crazy," she whispered.

"They're going to fight because of me."

Kayden stood beside her.

"That's how Alpha law works," he said calmly.

"If two Alphas want something… they settle it in battle."

Ariana looked worried.

"But Jayden could get hurt."

Kayden smirked slightly.

"Trust me… my brother is a monster when he fights."

In the center of the clearing, Victor stepped forward.

"Do you accept the challenge?" he asked.

Jayden's eyes turned cold.

"Yes."

Gasps spread through the crowd.

The elder quickly stepped forward.

"Then according to pack law… the battle will begin now."

Victor removed his coat and dropped it on the ground.

Jayden did the same.

The tension in the air became suffocating.

Then—

Both Alphas transformed.

Victor's body shifted first.

His form turned into a massive silver wolf, larger than most warriors.

Jayden transformed next.

His powerful black Alpha wolf stood tall with glowing blue eyes.

The two wolves circled each other slowly.

Every wolf present stepped back to give them space.

Then suddenly—

Victor attacked first.

He lunged forward with incredible speed.

Jayden blocked the attack and pushed him back.

The two Alpha wolves collided with a powerful crash.

The ground shook from the force.

The battle had begun.

Victor slashed at Jayden with sharp claws.

Jayden dodged and slammed his body into Victor's side.

Both wolves rolled across the clearing.

Growls echoed through the forest.

Ariana watched in fear.

"They're going to kill each other…"

Kayden narrowed his eyes.

"Not if Jayden wins first."

The fight grew more intense.

Victor was strong.

But Jayden was faster.

Finally, Jayden found an opening.

He lunged forward and knocked Victor to the ground.

His massive jaws snapped dangerously close to Victor's throat.

The entire clearing went silent.

Victor stopped struggling.

The battle was over.

Jayden had won.

The Northern warriors looked shocked.

Victor slowly returned to human form.

He looked at Jayden with respect.

"You've grown stronger," he admitted.

Jayden's voice was cold.

"Leave."

Victor glanced at Ariana one last time.

"This isn't over."

Then he turned and walked away with his pack.

As the Northern wolves disappeared into the forest, the tension slowly faded.

Jayden returned to human form and walked toward Ariana.

"You're safe," he said quietly.

But deep down, he knew something important.

Victor wouldn't give up so easily.

And the fight for the Moon Heir had only just begun.
