Aarav, scientist, and Dr. Mehta were slowly moving deeper into the old cave. It was very dark inside, and only the light from their torches was guiding their way. Strange markings were drawn on the walls, as if someone had tried to write something here many years ago.
Aarav felt a little nervous. He slowly asked, "Dr. Mehta, do you think the mystery behind these strange jungle sounds is hidden here?"
Dr. Mehta smiled and replied, "It's possible, Aarav. But we must move carefully."
As they went further inside, they suddenly heard the sound of dripping water—tap… tap… tap… In one corner of the cave, there was a small stream flowing over the rocks, creating that sound.
Just then, Aarav felt as if someone had taken a step behind them.
"Who's there?" Aarav shouted.
For a moment, there was complete silence. Then, in the darkness, a faint shadow seemed to move.
Aarav's heart started beating rapidly. Dr. Mehta turned his torch toward that direction—and what they saw left all three of them shocked.
There was an old iron door, half buried in the ground. Strange symbols were carved on it.
"What could this be?" Aarav asked in surprise.
Dr. Mehta examined the door carefully and said, "It looks like a very old secret gate. Perhaps the mystery of this jungle lies behind it."
He tried to push the door, but it didn't move. Then all three of them pushed it together.
Krrrrrrr…
With a loud grinding sound, the door slowly began to open.
As soon as it opened, a strong gust of wind rushed out. When they pointed their torches inside, they saw a large chamber.
In the center of the room, there was an old machine, emitting a faint blue glow.
Aarav was stunned. "How did this machine come here, in the middle of the jungle?"
Dr. Mehta looked at it carefully and said, "It seems a scientist conducted experiments here many years ago. Maybe this machine is creating those strange sounds in the jungle."
Suddenly, the machine started making a sound—beep… beep… beep…
At the same time, strong winds began to blow inside the cave.
Aarav got scared. "Dr. Mehta, what is happening?"
Dr. Mehta quickly moved toward the machine and started examining its buttons.
But just then, a loud laugh echoed from another corner of the cave:
Ha… ha… ha…
Aarav and Dr. Mehta immediately turned around.
A man stepped out of the darkness. He was wearing a black coat, and his eyes had a strange glow.
He spoke slowly, "You have discovered a very big secret… but now, perhaps you won't make it out of this cave alive."
Aarav's face turned pale.
Dr. Mehta gathered courage and asked, "Who are you?"
The man replied, "I am Professor Kaal… and this is my greatest invention."
Aarav and Dr. Mehta looked at each other.
Aarav then asked, "But why are you doing this in the jungle?"
A strange shine appeared in Professor Kaal's eyes. He said, "I want to show the world my power. This machine controls the strange sounds of the jungle. With it, I can spread fear among people."
Dr. Mehta said angrily, "This is wrong, Professor Kaal! You are harming the jungle and its animals."
Professor Kaal smiled and said, "It's too late now."
He pressed a button on the machine.
Suddenly, a bright light burst out from the machine, and the cave started shaking violently. Rocks began to fall.
Aarav shouted, "Dr. Mehta, we have to get out of here quickly!"
Dr. Mehta grabbed Aarav's hand, and both of them ran toward the exit.
But just then, Professor Kaal's voice echoed behind them, "You won't escape!"
The cave shook even more.
Aarav and Dr. Mehta reached the door—but suddenly, a huge rock fell and blocked the entrance.
They were trapped inside the cave.
Aarav panicked. "What will we do now? How will we get out?"
His heart was pounding.
He looked at Dr. Mehta with fear.
Dr. Mehta shone his torch on the rock. It was too big to move easily.
"This is not the time to panic," Dr. Mehta said. "We must find another way."
Behind them, Professor Kaal stood laughing. "I told you… you won't escape from here."
Aarav felt angry, but he didn't lose courage. He started looking around carefully.
When his torchlight fell on a corner, he noticed something strange.
"Dr. Mehta, look here!" Aarav shouted.
Near the wall, there was a small hole-like passage. It wasn't a full path, but it looked like it led somewhere.
Dr. Mehta examined it and said, "It might be another exit of the cave."
But just then, the machine started beeping again. The blue light became stronger, and the cave began shaking once more.
Professor Kaal shouted, "Now you can't go anywhere! The machine's power has increased even more!"
Suddenly, a small part of the wall broke, and a faint breeze started coming from behind it.
A spark of hope appeared in Dr. Mehta's eyes. "This air is coming from outside… which means there must be a way out!"
Aarav also felt a bit hopeful.
But just then, Professor Kaal started moving toward them. Anger was clearly visible on his face.
"I won't let you escape," he said.
Now Aarav and Dr. Mehta had to make a quick decision—either stop Professor Kaal or find a way to escape through that passage.
The cave shook again.
They had very little time left.
What will happen next… will be revealed in Part Six.
