Chapter 1 - prologue

In a peaceful, perfect world, filled with life, happiness, suffering, the beginning and the end of life, war, scarcity, and wealth—everything was in balance. But then, suddenly, something happened. In this world, balance turned into inequality, rules became mere words, life became death, and the end became the beginning.

The year 2000 AD, an era of impending technological advancements, the arrival of internet communication, electricity, and new-generation computers.

But everything was disrupted by the arrival of The Ignis, another star. Yesterday, people were enjoying themselves, walking the streets, working at their computers, going to school. But when they woke up after a long night they would remember for the rest of their lives, they found The Ignis floating in the sky. What was it? How did this star get here? What would happen? Would the world collapse? These were the questions people around the world pondered the moment they saw it in the sky.

January 5, 2000, 8:00 AM, London time. News reports were flooded about this mysterious star. People named it The Ignis because of its fiery red color. The government announced that there was no need to fear because we were drifting out of Ignis's orbit, meaning it would only pass close to Earth.

At 12:25 PM in London, Ignis suddenly began to grow larger. At 12:30 PM, every TV channel in the country simultaneously announced that Ignis was hurtling towards our planet. Yes, it was hurtling towards us—a phenomenon inexplicable by science. Scientists predicted it would collide at 2:01 PM. Immediately after this announcement, the world descended into chaos. People panicked, streets were crowded, and traffic was impossible due to the congestion. People rushed home to spend time with their families.

At 2:00 PM, Ignis was hurtling towards Earth, but it passed through the atmosphere without being pushed back by the clouds. But nobody saw it.

14:01 The Ignis's surface reached the Earth's surface, but he passed right through it. No one died; nothing happened. 14:21 The Ignis's surface completely covered the Earth, and a blinding light shone everywhere, bright enough to blind people, yet they remained unblinded. When humanity opened their eyes, they were met with something they never imagined possible...

That's what I remember from that day. I don't know what will happen next or what the world will become, but I have to face it. After that, I opened my eyes...
