A faint smile appeared on his face.

"...is me."

"I'm a tyrant."

"I lead by making sure everyone beneath me follows orders. Whether you respect me or not is irrelevant. As long as you obey, we'll survive."

The remaining three students exchanged uneasy glances.

One of them opened his mouth to object.

Instantly—

Boom!

Gravity descended once more.

All four students were forced onto one knee, struggling to remain upright beneath the overwhelming pressure.

Sweat dripped down their foreheads as they grit their teeth.

Ash looked at them impassively.

"So..."

"What do you choose?"

With a casual wave of his hand, the crushing gravity vanished.

The four students staggered back to their feet, breathing heavily.

Ash smiled faintly.

"And before any of you says something stupid..."

He casually cracked his knuckles.

"...just remember that if your answer is anything I don't like..."

His smile widened ever so slightly.

"...I'll simply beat you up again until you come to your senses."

One of the nobles gulped before looking up at Ash through gritted teeth.

"If you beat us up," he said, forcing confidence into his voice, "the Headmaster will surely eliminate our entire team. Then you won't be able to pass the exam either."

A smug smile slowly spread across his face, convinced he had finally found a way to corner Ash.

"..."

Then—

"Hahahahaha!"

Ash burst into laughter.

It wasn't forced.

It was genuine amusement.

The four students stared at him in confusion.

After a few moments, Ash finally stopped laughing and looked at them with calm, almost indifferent eyes.

"Do you really think I need this academy?"

His words instantly wiped the smug smile from the noble's face.

"I only enrolled because my mother wanted me to."

Ash shrugged.

"To be honest, I couldn't care less whether I graduate from White Griffon or not."

His voice remained cold and matter-of-fact.

"So far, this academy hasn't taught me anything I couldn't have learned on my own."

The four students froze.

Ash wasn't bluffing.

During the past month, he had already copied every single book available in the academy's library. Raphael had memorized all of them, analyzed every spell, every theory, and every magical formula contained within them.

Being the Lord of Wisdom, she had not only mastered every piece of knowledge the academy possessed but had also optimized and improved much of it.

At the beginning, Ash had genuinely needed White Griffon Academy.

Now...

There was nothing left for it to teach him.

Everything of value had already become his.

Ash looked at the four students before him with the same indifferent expression.

"So don't threaten me with expulsion."

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"It only works on people who actually have something to lose."

The four students fell silent, gawking at Ash in disbelief.

Ash looked at them calmly.

"So," he asked, "what's your answer?"

Before any of them could respond, Ash glanced deeper into the forest.

"And I'd appreciate it if you answered quickly."

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

"We already have guests."

The four students blinked in confusion.

"What do you mea—"

Roar!

A deafening growl echoed through the trees.

From between the dense undergrowth, a massive puma-like magical beast emerged, its amber eyes locked onto the group.

A moment later, a giant crow-like beast descended from the canopy, circling overhead while letting out a series of piercing caws.

The ground trembled.

Heavy footsteps approached as a hulking bear-like magical beast lumbered out of the forest, blocking their retreat.

Three magical beasts.

The students' faces instantly turned pale.

"W-We..."

"What do we do?!"

"We're surrounded!"

Panic spread through the group as they instinctively backed toward one another.

Boom!

Ash released a pulse of gravity, slamming all four of them onto one knee.

The sudden pressure snapped them out of their panic.

Ash looked down at them with an annoyed expression.

"If you panic this easily, then you're already dead."

With another wave of his hand, the gravity disappeared.

"Now get up."

The four hurried to their feet.

Ash folded his arms.

"Start fighting."

The students stared at him in disbelief.

"W-What about you?"

Ash shrugged.

"I'll be observing."

His calm gaze swept over each of them.

"I want to see which of you is actually worth keeping on this team."

He nodded toward the approaching beasts.

"So pull your own weight."

One of the students pointed at him in disbelief.

"But you're part of the team too!"

"I am."

Ash nodded without the slightest hint of shame.

"But according to our group assignment..."

He smiled faintly.

"...I'm the healer."

"So unless one of you is on the verge of dying, I have no reason to interfere."

The four students nearly coughed up blood.

A healer?

What kind of healer throws his teammates at three magical beasts while standing back to watch?

Meanwhile, the three magical beasts had already begun charging toward them.

Of course, Ash had no intention of simply sitting back and watching. He needed to fight as well.

He just wasn't going to interfere this early.

With a powerful leap, Ash sprang onto the branch of a tall tree, looking down at the battlefield below.

However, the giant crow-like magical beast had different intentions.

Caw!

With a powerful flap of its wings, it abandoned the others and shot straight toward Ash, cloaked in darkness while currents of wind gathered around its body.

Ash sighed.

"So... you just had to come after me, huh?"

Without the slightest trace of panic, he reached into his storage ring and pulled out several small bottles filled with brightly colored liquids.

One after another, he uncorked them and drank their contents.

To any observer, they looked like high-grade enhancement potions capable of increasing physical strength and agility.

In reality...

They were nothing more than colored water.

Ash didn't need enhancement potions in the first place. His Body Fusion technique already strengthened his physique far beyond what such potions could achieve.

The bottles were nothing more than props.

He wanted everyone watching—including the Professors—to believe his strength came from consumables rather than revealing his true capabilities.
