With that thought, he finished reviewing his memories and shifted his attention back to the classroom.
The lesson continued for another twenty minutes before the final bell rang.
Students immediately began packing their bags.
Some hurried toward the exits, while others gathered in small groups to chat.
Ash calmly packed his notebook into his backpack.
"Master," Sage said.
[I have finished organizing the memories from the past ten years.]
"Anything important?"
[Nothing world-changing.]
[Your life here has been quite ordinary.]
[You consistently ranked near the top of your class.]
[You have no criminal record.]
[No contact with S.H.I.E.L.D., HYDRA, or any other hidden organizations.]
[Your parents are both alive and currently at work.]
[Financially, your family is stable.]
Ash nodded.
"So this body has lived a completely normal life."
[Correct.]
Ash stood up and walked out of the classroom.
As he stepped into the hallway, students filled the corridors.
Some were discussing homework.
Others were talking about sports or weekend plans.
Everything looked perfectly ordinary.
Ash quietly walked through the crowd.
"Master."
Sage spoke again.
[Would you like me to begin collecting information on this world's hidden organizations?]
"Hmm how would you do it while being just a voice inside my head?" Ash asked.
[ I will use spirit magic and use your phone to connect to web and then from there I will learn all the necessary skills I need to infiltrate anything connected to network ]
"You can do that?" He asked asked surprised as Sage nodded.
[ I can, its similar to application spirit communication using Spirit magic ]
Sage replied while transferring the principal behind it to Ash.
" I seek so I can also use it that way " he nodded.
Ash thought for a moment before answering.
"Yes, then collect all info. you can."
"But keep it discreet."
"I don't want to attract anyone's attention."
[Understood.]
[I will begin with publicly available records before expanding further.]
Ash nodded.
That was the safest approach.
Right now, he knew almost nothing about the current state of this Marvel Universe.
Although he remembered the original timeline, this world could still be different.
He couldn't afford to make assumptions.
After leaving the school building, Ash started walking home.
Along the way, he observed everything around him.
Cars filled the streets.
People hurried home from work.
Children played in nearby parks.
To everyone else, it was just another ordinary afternoon.
To Ash, however, this peaceful city hid countless secrets.
Somewhere in New York, genius inventors, hidden organizations, super soldiers, sorcerers, and powerful beings were already living their lives.
Most of them simply hadn't stepped into the spotlight yet.
As he continued walking, Sage spoke again.
[Master.]
[I recommend using the next few months to prepare.]
Ash nodded.
"I was thinking the same thing."
"I'm not strong enough in this world yet."
"My first priority is understanding how the Soul Core functions here."
"My second priority is earning enough money."
"And after that..."
"I'll start preparing for Tony Stark's kidnapping."
Sage immediately agreed.
[That is the most logical course of action.]
With his goals decided, Ash quietly continued walking home, already planning the next stage of his life in the Marvel Universe.
Ash quietly continued walking home, already planning the next stage of his life in the Marvel Universe.
About twenty minutes later, he arrived home.
As soon as he stepped inside, his mother looked up from the kitchen.
"You're home."
She smiled before looking behind him.
"Where's Peter?"
"Didn't he walk home with you today?"
Ash inwardly cursed.
He had completely forgotten that he usually came home with Peter Parker.
"My head started hurting during the last class," Ash replied calmly.
"So I came home first."
"I figured Peter would take his time and walk back later."
His mother immediately walked over and placed the back of her hand against his forehead.
"Are you feeling sick?"
"Do you have a fever?"
Ash shook his head with a small smile.
"No."
"I think it's just a headache."
"I've been feeling a little tired today."
She looked at him with concern.
"Should I make an appointment with the doctor?"
Ash shook his head again.
"There's no need."
"I just need a few hours of rest."
"I'll be fine."
She studied him for another moment before nodding.
"Alright."
"But if you're still feeling unwell tomorrow, we're going to the doctor."
"I promise," Ash replied.
His mother smiled.
"Good."
"I'll call you when dinner is ready."
Ash nodded.
"Thanks, Mom."
He walked upstairs and entered his room.
After closing the door, he locked it before sitting down on his bed.
Sage spoke inside his mind.
[Master.]
[While you were talking, I successfully connected to your phone.]
Ash raised an eyebrow.
"Already?"
[Yes.]
[I have begun studying this world's operating systems and computer networks.]
[The internet contains far more information than expected.]
Ash nodded.
"Don't rush."
"Start with learning."
"Don't access anything illegal yet."
"I don't want anyone tracing us."
[Understood.]
[I will only observe public information for now.]
Ash lay back on the bed and closed his eyes.
"Let's see what this Soul Core can actually do."
He focused inward.
Instead of the familiar mana core from the other world, he sensed a small sphere of pale silver energy near his soul.
It was tiny.
Compared to his blue mana core in the Supreme Magus world, its output was insignificant.
"So this is the Soul Core."
He slowly drew a tiny strand of energy from it.
The silver energy flowed through his body far more smoothly than mana.
Ash pointed a finger toward the desk across the room.
A small breeze appeared.
Several sheets of paper fluttered before settling back down.
Ash smiled.
"So I can still use magic."
"It's just much weaker."
Sage answered immediately.
[The Soul Core produces a unique energy that is compatible with this world.]
[Due to the 30:1 power conversion ratio between your two bodies, your Blue Mana Core from the other world is equivalent to only a Red Soul Core in this world.]
Ash blinked.
"Damn... is the conversion really that bad?"
Sage nodded.
[Yes.]
[Fortunately, the Soul Core can still grow stronger.]
[I will begin identifying what kind of energy this world's Soul Core absorbs.]
[Once I understand its nature, I can develop a suitable breathing technique or another cultivation method to accelerate its growth.]
Ash nodded thoughtfully.
"Do that."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"But not right now."
"Summer vacation is only a few weeks away."
"We need to earn enough money first."
"If everything goes according to plan, we'll travel to Kamar-Taj."
"We'll learn the Eldritch Arts from the Ancient One."
"Once you can study that magic system directly, you'll gather enough data to create our own version of magic for this world much faster."
Sage immediately agreed.
[Understood, Master.]
[I will prioritize gathering information and preparing for our trip to Kamar-Taj.]
