Chapter 29 - Chapter 30- reveals how the be a nice person

With the Oscar nomination officially in the bag and the $2.88 million payout being strategically moved into new asset classes, the Jones Firm was operating at an all-time high. However, the fame had become a gilded cage. Cameron, feeling the weight of the "Icon" title, had a sudden, grounded craving.

"I want to ride the subway," Cameron announced one Tuesday afternoon. "Just once. I want to feel like a normal person in New York again before we have to spend the next six months in limousines."

Sarah and Beth were hesitant, but Anastasia saw the value in it. They donned oversized trench coats, dark sunglasses, and simple scarves to hide their faces, slipping out of their hotel to descend into the humidity and noise of the New York City subway system.

The Accidental MeetingAs the train rattled toward Greenwich Village, the car was mostly empty except for a young man sitting in the corner. He was leaning against the window, a tattered script in his hands and a worn backpack at his feet. He had a quiet, soulful intensity—a stillness that stood out against the chaotic energy of the train.

Cameron nudged Anastasia. "Look at him. He's doing the same thing we do. He's memorizing lines."

Anastasia watched him for a moment. She didn't see just an actor; she saw a raw, untapped potential that hadn't been polished by the Hollywood machine yet. He looked like he was struggling, his clothes a bit frayed at the edges, but his focus on the page was unbreakable.

The SuggestionAs the train slowed for their stop, Anastasia didn't just walk past him. She stopped. The "Fortress" instinctively tightened around her as she stepped toward the young man.

"That's a difficult scene," Anastasia said softly, her voice carrying over the screech of the brakes. "The subtext in the third act is about grief, not anger. If you play it as anger, you'll lose the audience."

The young man looked up, startled. His eyes were dark and thoughtful, his face possessing a unique, almost timeless beauty. He didn't recognize her immediately through the sunglasses, but he felt the authority in her voice.

"I... I was struggling with that," he admitted, his voice low and melodic. "How did you know?"

"I've been where you are," Anastasia replied, tilting her sunglasses down just enough for him to see her forest-green eyes.

The young man's breath caught. He knew exactly who she was—the sixteen-year-old mogul who had just shattered the box office. "You're Anastasia Jones."

"I'm also the head of the Jones Firm," she said, handing him a small, minimalist business card with nothing but the Firm's seal and a private phone number. "This is my partner, Cameron Diaz. We're looking for our next client—someone with a soul that hasn't been sold yet. I think you might be that person."

The Tomorrow PromiseThe young man looked at the card, then back at the three sisters and the Oscar-nominated lead actress standing in a subway car in the middle of Manhattan. It felt like a fever dream.

"I'm Keanu," he said, standing up. He was tall, but he lacked the ego that usually came with actors of his caliber. He looked humble, almost uncertain. "Keanu Reeves."

"Well, Keanu," Anastasia said as the doors opened. "We're looking to build something that lasts longer than a movie. If you want to be more than just a face in a script, come to our hotel tomorrow morning at ten. We'll talk about your future."

Keanu looked at the card once more, a flicker of hope crossing his face. "I'll be there. I'll come tomorrow to talk about it."

The New PortfolioAs the sisters and Cameron stepped onto the platform and watched the train pull away, Beth looked at Anastasia. "A subway scout, Stasia? That's a new one even for us."

"He has the 'burn,' Beth," Anastasia said, her mind already calculating the PR strategy for a newcomer with that kind of authentic, quiet power. "And more importantly, he has nothing to lose. Those are the people who change the world."

The Firm walked back toward the surface, the $2.88 million in the bank and a new name on the horizon. The empire wasn't just growing; it was diversifying.
