CHAPTER 1
I woke up after what seems to be a long dream, with so much pain all over my body, I can barely stand up, I check my surrounding only to now realise I am in a dark space, like cave. feeling my surrounding with my hands, or what suppose to be my hands that I remember, tiny arms and legs, damn, it seems I died and was reborn as child, just a year old.
But am grateful, I still maintain my sex, still the manly path for me . whose idea is it, to leave baby in a dark scary cave alone, before i can a get proper hold of my surrounding, I hear strange sound, seems to been movement, is it this baby's parent, I hope so, this place is giving me a bad feeling, kind of those wuxia novel dark scene vibe.
the last it i remembered before waking up here, was working late at the office as usual , before feeling extremely dizzy, and earing a voice saying ''you have been chosen by the Uncrown Dark God to be reborn in Fatasia world. choose one of the 3 gifts , the Dark sword of the Uncrown Dark God, the Dominator hand of the shadows, the All Devouring Eye.''
I remember choosing the third option ,feeling that it sounded cool and at the same time stupid at that time, another reason will be because of I was influence growing up watching anime. I heard the sound of the movements getting louder, seems some thing or someone is coming closer, I tried getting a better view, and then I saw it.
Though not very clear, I saw something in human shape all dark ,huge ,ghostly around 2feet tall in hight moving very fast towards me, I try shouting , but all i did was make baby noise, But still I kept trying seeing if i can get the attention of this baby parents or guardians, but nothing out except this thing run towards me with red eyes, leaving trail of black gaseous fumes.
I don't want to die so soon just after been reborn ,its sucks. before I knew it, it was already at my side, it arms stretch for me, am staring at death again, I don't know when , but it out stretch hand stop mid way, now it is moving back, as if scared, I didn't notice it before , maybe it was because I was close to dying again, but my vision has change .
Just my right eye, it almost all dark and heavy, i began feeling this cold feeling in my body, as if all my blood in my body has turn cold, then an extremely dark semi liquid and gaseous thing began to come out of my eye ,it slowly tame the creature while it began to encircle it, it began to whimper, like some weak, and scared thing in front of it, as if begging for mercy.
I don't feel threaten at all by these strange it coming out of my eye , if anything I feel like all my feelings has disappear, as if I have turn to some kind of heartless killing machine, a predator in front of it prey. very slowly it began to wrap this the creature in deep black ink liquid, the more it does , the more creature began to beg desperately, but I don't stop, I began to enjoy it pleas.
And then before long , only large puddle of dark ink stand before me, and then it began to retreat back to my right eye, once all of it has retreated , a voice, I thought I would never hear again, sounded in my head ''You have Devour the Demonic spectre ,inhabitant of the Dark Abyss world, your Devouring eye has magic has grown, you now posses the ghostly trait of spectre, to phase through things''
My sense of feeling return, and the shadow creature, was no where to be found. these is awesome , so I have a cheat power , I thought the voice back then was my imagination. so that thing before is called the Demonic spectre, and this world is called Dark Abyss world. Oh yeah , I remember it saying I now have the ability of that creature, to phase through things.
It seems this ability of mine, somehow allows me to devour things, and absorb some of their ability for use, this is good, at list I can try surviving this situation, with this. and not only that I don't feel hungry, it seems i can sustain this body of mine by just devouring things. I will try devouring other things ,for example pieces of rock to see if anything changes.

After sometime , after experimenting with the ability, I realise most of it advantages and not, first I can devour anything including the rocks, both living and non living, all matters in general, and it can only give me ability or traits of living things and special ores, and the abilities stays permanent, each living things or special materials that i devour can influence my entire being, and more of it can lead to some kind of evolution.
It has been 1 month since I killed that Demon Spectre. since then I haven't moved much other than crawling my way through this dark cave, searching for exist, I have see other living things such as strange rabbit like creature, giant insects, all dark in colour, the name Dark Abyss make sense to be now.
I have seen special rocks , with different shapes and sizes, even absorb some of them, and discover my staminal has improve much doing that. why the living things such as insects, quench my hunger for me. so far every living I have come across act timid or tamed when I display my right eye form, it is as if , I am some kind of mighty existence to them.
During which they will immediately summit to me, to do as I see fit. Apart from the ability I got from the first living creature, I devoured, I haven't gotten any so far, it seems their level re still too low, for me me to benefit much, I realise one other thing about my gift, once activated, blood must spill, and it somehow difficult to control.
Plus when I get hungry ,I loose complete control over it, it enters some kind of automatic control, something similar to self sustenance mode or sort. Only stops when enough has been consumed, The voice in my head calls it, Berserk Mode. And it can stretch for a very long distance, the dark substance , once it comes out.
I tried checking the limit, it is around 100meters for now. it increases depending on the level of growth of my magic, which increases base on the amount of living things I consume. The All Devouring Eye will be my aid to surviving this strange world and maybe , just maybe finding my way back to earth, if it exist somewhere in this Universe. My path of devouring begins here in this dark deep cave.
