Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 – The Showdown Begins

Thunder cracked over the city as Adam and Lina stood in the grand hall of Kane's estate. The storm outside mirrored the storm of tension inside.

Victor Kane leaned casually against a marble pillar, his eyes cold and calculating. "Impressive, Adam. You've grown bolder since last night."

Adam's fists clenched. "Bold enough to end this, Kane. Tonight, it stops."

Kane smirked. "Do you really think you can defeat me? You've been hiding for years. You left the empire behind. You're out of your depth."

Adam's gaze hardened. "I've been hiding, yes. But hiding doesn't mean weak. I've learned, I've trained, and I've planned. And tonight, you'll see why I survived all these years."

He moved forward, every step precise, controlled. Lina stayed close, her presence steadying him. She had seen Adam's determination and courage, and she trusted him completely.

Kane's men appeared from the shadows, surrounding them. Adam's eyes flicked to Lina. "Stay close. Watch my back."

The fight began. Adam moved like a storm, disarming men, evading attacks, and taking control of the battlefield. Lina assisted where she could, distracting guards and helping Adam navigate the chaos.

Kane watched, amusement and frustration warring in his expression. "You still think this is enough?" he shouted, stepping toward Adam.

Adam didn't respond with words. He advanced, pushing Kane back with every calculated strike. Memories of his father, his family's empire, and the life he had forsaken fueled his every move.

Finally, Adam and Kane faced each other directly. The room was silent except for the heavy rain pounding against the windows.

"You've made this personal, Kane," Adam said, his voice low but deadly. "And I never forgive personal attacks on my family… or the people I care about."

Kane lunged. Adam sidestepped, using Kane's momentum to throw him off balance. Kane crashed against a wall, stunned.

Adam took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving Kane. "It ends now."

The moment hung in the air—two men, one empire, and a lifetime of secrets and betrayal about to collide.

Outside, the storm raged on, echoing the fury of the battle within.

And Adam knew one thing: no matter what happened next, he would not back down.
