Chapter 4 - Chapter 1: The Mysterious Journey

Chapter 1: The Mysterious Journey

Suman was a simple boy living in a quiet village surrounded by green fields and tall trees. His life was peaceful and ordinary. Every morning he woke up early, helped his parents with small tasks, and then spent time with his friends near the river.

Nothing exciting ever happened in his life.

But everything changed one strange night.

It was late at night and the village was completely silent. The moon was shining in the dark sky and the wind was blowing softly through the trees. Suman was lying on his bed using his phone when suddenly his phone vibrated.

A message appeared from an unknown number.

Suman looked at the screen with confusion. Slowly he opened the message.

The message said: "Your life will change tomorrow."

Suman frowned. He did not understand what it meant. He tried to reply, but suddenly the message disappeared from his phone.

He checked again and again but it was gone.

He felt strange but ignored it and went to sleep.

The next morning everything looked normal.

People were busy with their daily work and children were playing outside. Suman thought the message was just a joke.

But later that afternoon something unusual happened.

A black car appeared near his house.

Cars were very rare in the village, especially a luxury black car like that. Many villagers gathered around and started whispering.

Suman slowly walked closer.

Suddenly the car door opened.

A tall man wearing a black coat stepped out. His face looked serious and mysterious. He looked directly at Suman.

Then he said something shocking.

"Suman… I have been looking for you."

Suman was shocked.

"How do you know my name?" he asked.

The man did not answer immediately. Instead he took out his phone and showed Suman something.

Suman's eyes widened in shock.

On the screen was the exact same message he had received last night.

"Your life will change tomorrow."

Suman felt a cold fear inside him.

Before he could speak, his phone vibrated again.

Another message appeared.

He slowly opened it.

This time the message said: "Do not trust the man in front of you."

Suman felt confused and scared.

He slowly looked at the mysterious man again.

Now he didn't know who to believe.

The strange man or the mysterious message.

Suddenly the black car behind them started moving by itself.

The engine roared loudly even though nobody was inside.

People started screaming.

The car suddenly moved forward very fast.

It was heading directly toward them.

"Suman! Move!" the man shouted.

Both of them quickly jumped aside.

The car crashed into a tree with a loud noise.

Dust filled the air.

Everyone stood in shock.

The mysterious man slowly walked toward the crashed car and opened the door.

Then he said something terrifying.

"There is no driver."

Suman felt his heart beating fast.

If nobody was driving the car…

Then who tried to kill them?

At that moment Suman realized something very dangerous.

The mysterious message was real.

And this was only the beginning of a much bigger mystery.Suman slowly walked toward the crashed car. His heart was beating fast and his hands were shaking. The mysterious man was already standing beside the car, looking inside.

"What do you see?" Suman asked nervously.

The man turned his head slowly and looked at Suman.

"There is no driver," he said.

Suman felt a cold fear running through his body.

"No driver?" he repeated.

The man nodded.

"It means someone wanted this car to crash… but not in a normal way."

The villagers were whispering around them. Some people were scared and others were curious.

Suman suddenly felt his phone vibrate again.

He quickly took it out and looked at the screen.

Another message appeared.

"Leave the village before midnight."

Suman felt shocked.

Before he could say anything, the message disappeared again.

He looked at the mysterious man.

"I just received another message," Suman said quietly.

"What did it say?" the man asked.

"It told me to leave the village before midnight."

The man's face became serious.

"It seems whoever is sending these messages knows everything about you."

Suman felt confused and scared.

"Why me?" he asked.

The man looked at the dark road in the distance.

"Because your life is connected to a secret… a secret that many people want to hide."

Suman did not understand anything.

"What secret?" he asked.

But the mysterious man did not answer.

Instead he looked at Suman and said something strange.

"If you want to know the truth, you must be ready to face danger."

At that moment the wind started blowing stronger and the sky slowly became dark.

Suman felt that his peaceful life was ending.

And a dangerous adventure was just beginning.Suman stood silently near the broken car. The villagers slowly started leaving the place because they were afraid. Only Suman and the mysterious man were still standing there.

The wind was getting colder and the sky was slowly becoming darker.

Suman looked at the man again.

"Who are you?" he finally asked.

The man looked at him for a few seconds and then said quietly, "My name is Arman."

"Why were you looking for me?" Suman asked.

Arman looked around carefully as if someone might be watching them.

"Because your life is not as simple as you think," he replied.

Suman frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Arman took a deep breath.

"Many years ago something happened to your family. Something very dangerous."

Suman felt confused.

"My family? But we are just normal people."

Arman shook his head slowly.

"No. Your father once protected something very important."

Suman's eyes widened.

"What thing?"

Before Arman could answer, Suman's phone vibrated again.

Another message appeared.

Suman quickly opened it.

The message said: "Stop asking questions."

Suman felt a chill run through his body.

"Did you see that?" he asked Arman.

Arman looked serious.

"It seems whoever is sending these messages is watching us."

Suman quickly looked around the dark road and the trees.

But he could not see anyone.

The village suddenly felt very strange and dangerous.

Arman stepped closer to Suman.

"You must leave this village soon," he said.

"Why?" Suman asked.

"Because the people who are looking for you will not stop."

For a moment, everything became silent.

Suman looked at the stranger standing in front of them. His face was still hidden in the darkness, but his presence felt dangerous.

Arman stepped forward and stood in front of Suman.

"You should leave now," Arman said firmly.

The stranger laughed softly.

"Leave? After coming this far?" he replied.

Suman felt his heart beating faster. He had never experienced something like this before.

The wind blew strongly through the trees, making the leaves rustle loudly.

Suddenly Suman's phone vibrated again.

He slowly took it out and looked at the screen.

Another message appeared.

"Do not trust anyone."

Suman felt confused and scared.

First the message warned him about Arman.

Now it was warning him about everyone.

He didn't know who to believe anymore.

The stranger suddenly began walking toward them.

Each step felt heavy and threatening.

Arman quickly whispered to Suman, "If something happens, run toward the village road."

"But what about "But what about you?" Suman asked with fear in his voice.

Arman looked at him seriously. "Don't worry about me. Just run if things get dangerous."

The stranger in the black coat slowly moved closer to them. His footsteps were heavy and calm, as if he was not afraid of anything.

Rain started falling harder. The road became wet and the wind blew strongly through the trees.

Suman felt his heart beating faster.

"Why are you chasing me?" he shouted.

The stranger stopped walking.

For a moment he said nothing.

Then he slowly raised his head and looked directly at Suman.

"Because you are the key," he said.

"The key to what?" Suman asked.

But the stranger did not answer.

Instead, he suddenly rushed forward.

Arman quickly stepped in front of Suman and blocked the stranger.

"Run!" Arman shouted again.

This time Suman did not hesitate.

He turned and started running toward the village road.

The rain was pouring heavily now and the road was slippery. Suman kept running as fast as he could.

His mind was full of questions.

Who was that man?

Why did he say Suman was the key?

And what secret was connected to his family?

Suddenly his phone vibrated again.

Suman stopped for a second and looked at the screen.

Another message appeared.

"Go to the old bridge."

Suman felt confused.

The old bridge was on the edge of the village near the forest. Nobody usually went there at night.

But the message appeared again.

"Go now."

Suman looked back toward the dark forest. He could still hear shouting in the distance.

He took a deep breath and started running toward the old bridge.

The wind howled loudly and lightning flashed across the sky.

When Suman finally reached the bridge, the rain slowly became lighter.

The bridge was old and broken, and the river below flowed quietly in the darkness.

Suman stood there breathing heavily.

Then suddenly he heard a voice behind him.

"I knew you would come."

Suman turned around quickly.

A young woman was standing at the end of the bridge.

Her face was calm but mysterious.

"Who are you?" Suman asked.

The woman looked at him and smiled slightly.

"My name is Lira," she said.

"And if you want to stay alive, you must listen to me."Suman looked at the mysterious girl standing on the bridge. The rain was slowly stopping, but the wind was still cold.

"How do you know my name?" Suman asked.

The girl smiled slightly.

"I know many things about you," she replied.

Suman felt confused.

"Who are you really?" he asked again.

The girl walked a little closer. Her footsteps were quiet on the wet bridge.

"My name is Lira," she said again. "And I am here to help you."

Suman did not know if he should trust her.

Just a few minutes ago a stranger tried to attack him. Now another mysterious person appeared in front of him.

"Help me with what?" Suman asked.

Lira looked at the dark forest behind the bridge.

"Your life is in danger," she said calmly.

"I already understand that," Suman sat quietly near the riverbank, trying to understand everything that had just happened. His clothes were wet and the cold wind made him shiver.

Lira looked around carefully to make sure no one had followed them.

"We cannot stay here for long," she said.

Suman looked at her tiredly.

"Why is all this happening to me?" he asked.

Lira sat beside him.

"Because you are more important than you think," she replied.

Suman shook his head.

"I am just a normal boy from a small village."

Lira looked directly at him.

"No, you are not."

Suman felt confused again.

Before he could ask another question, his phone vibrated.

Another message appeared.

He opened it slowly.

The message said:

"They are coming."

Suman quickly stood up.

"What does it mean?" he asked.

Lira looked worried.

"It means we don't have much time."

Suddenly they heard the sound of a car engine somewhere on the road.

Bright headlights appeared through the trees.

Suman felt his heart beating faster.

"They found us again," he said.

Lira quickly grabbed his arm.

"Come with me."

They ran through Suman and Lira ran deeper into the forest. The night was dark and the only light came from the moon hidden behind the clouds.

Branches scratched their clothes as they pushed through the trees. Suman was breathing heavily but he kept running.

After several minutes they finally stopped near a large rock.

Suman leaned against it, trying to catch his breath.

"I can't run anymore," he said.

Lira looked behind them carefully.

"For now we are safe," she said.

The forest was quiet again.

Only the sound of the wind could be heard.

Suman slowly sat down on the ground.

His mind was full of questions. Everything had happened so fast that he could barely understand what was going on.

Just a few hours ago, Suman was living his normal life in the village. Now he was running through the forest in the middle of the night, chased by dangerous strangers.

He looked at Lira.

"Please tell me everything," Suman said quietly.

Lira sat beside him and looked at the dark sky.

"The people chasing you belong to a powerful group," she said.

"What group?" Suman asked.

"They are called The Shadow Circle."

Suman frowned.

"I have never heard of them."

"Most people haven't," Lira replied. "They operate in secret."

Suman felt nervous.

"Why are they chasing me?"

Lira looked serious.

"Because they believe your family is hiding something important."

Suman suddenly remembered the necklace his father gave him years ago.

He quickly touched his neck.

The necklace was still there.

He slowly opened it.

Inside was the small folded paper again.

Lira looked at it carefully.

"This is not just a map," she said.

"What do you mean?" Suman asked.

Lira pointed at the strange symbols on the paper.

"These symbols are very old. They lead to a hidden place deep inside the mountains."

Suman felt shocked.

"What is there?"

Lira looked at him quietly.

"A secret powerful enough to change the world."

Suman looked at the map again.

Suddenly he heard a sound behind them.

Footsteps.

Someone was moving through the trees again.

Lira quickly stood up.

"They found us again."

Suman's heart started beating fast.

"What do we do now?" he asked.

Lira pointed toward a narrow path through the forest.

"We keep moving."

Without another word, both of them started running again.

The adventure was far from over.

And somewhere in the darkness, their enemies were still searching for them. For a moment, everything became silent again.

Suman and Lira slowly walked deeper into the forest. The trees were tall and their shadows covered the ground like dark walls.

Suman felt tired but he kept moving.

"We can't stop now," Lira said softly.

Suman nodded.

After walking for nearly twenty minutes, they finally reached a small river.

The water was clear and the moonlight reflected on it.

Suman washed his face with the cold water.

He felt slightly better.

"Do you think they are still following us?" he asked.

Lira looked around carefully.

"They probably are," she replied.

Suman sighed.

"I never imagined my life would change like this."

Lira looked at him and smiled slightly.

"Sometimes the biggest adventures begin when we least expect them."They sat near the riverbank for a short rest.

The night air was cold and the forest felt mysterious.

Suman looked at the map again.

The lines on the paper showed a path leading toward a mountain area far from the village.

"How far is this place?" Suman asked.

"Very far," Lira replied.

"It may take several days to reach it."

Suman thought for a moment.

"Then we should start moving before sunrise."

Lira nodded.

Suddenly an owl flew over their heads, breaking the silence.

Both of them looked up.

For a moment the forest felt alive.

Suman folded the map carefully and placed it back inside the necklace.

"No matter what happens," he said, "I will protect this."They continued walking through the forest path.

The ground was uneven and sometimes they had to climb over fallen trees.

Suman's legs were starting to hurt, but he refused to stop.

After some time they reached a hill.

From the top of the hill they could see the distant lights of the village.

Suman looked at it quietly.

"My family is there," he said.

Lira stood beside him.

"They will be safe," she said.

Suman hoped she was right.

Then he looked toward the dark mountains in the distance.

Somewhere there was the place shown on the map.

And somehow his father had been connected to it.The wind started blowing stronger.

Dark clouds slowly covered the moon.

It looked like rain might start soon.

"We should find shelter," Lira said.

After searching for a few minutes they found a small abandoned hut near the forest edge.

The door was broken but the inside was dry.

They entered carefully.

Suman sat on the floor and leaned against the wall.

He was exhausted.

But his mind was still racing with thoughts.

"What if we fail?" he asked quietly.

Lira looked at him seriously.

"Then we try again."

Her confidence gave Suman a little courage.Slowly the night passed.

When the first light of morning appeared in the sky, Suman opened his eyes.

Birds were singing outside.

The forest looked completely different in daylight.

Peaceful and calm.

But Suman knew danger was still out there.

He stood up and stretched.

Lira was already awake.

"Ready?" she asked.

Suman looked toward the distant mountains again.

He took a deep breath.

"Yes," he said.

The journey had only just begun.

And whatever secret waited at the end of the map, Suman was determined to discover it.Suman looked at the map again and again. The strange lines and symbols made him curious. It felt like the paper was hiding many secrets that he could not understand yet.

Lira sat quietly beside him, watching the forest carefully. The night was slowly turning into early morning. A soft light started appearing behind the trees.

Suman took a deep breath. His life had changed in just one night. Yesterday he was only a normal boy living in a peaceful village. Now he was part of something mysterious and dangerous.

"Lira," Suman said softly, "why did my father hide this map?"

Lira thought for a moment before Lira looked at Suman carefully before answering his question.

"Your father knew many things that other people didn't," she said quietly.

"He spent many years searching for hidden places and ancient secrets."

Suman listened carefully.

"When he found the map, he understood how powerful the secret behind it was."

"So he hid it?" Suman asked.

"Yes," Lira replied. "Because if the wrong people found it, it could bring a lot of trouble."

Suman looked down at the necklace again.

He suddenly felt the responsibility resting on his shoulders.

For a moment he stayed silent.

Then he stood up slowly.

"If my father trusted me with this," he said, "then I will not fail him."

Lira smiled slightly.

"That is exactly what he believed."

The morning sun was now rising higher in the sky.

Golden light filled the forest and the road ahead became clearer.

Suman looked toward the distant mountains.

They looked huge and mysterious.

Somewhere inside those mountains was the place marked on the map.

But reaching it would not be easy.

The path was long and full of danger.Suman stood quietly for a moment, staring toward the mountains far away. They looked silent and mysterious under the bright morning sky.

He wondered what kind of secret was hidden there. Was it really something powerful enough to change the world?

Lira walked a few steps ahead and then stopped.

"We should not stay here too long," she said. "The people following us are smart. They will search every road."

Suman nodded and started walking again.

The path slowly turned into a rough trail that went through hills and tall grass. The sun was now fully up, and the warm light made the world look peaceful.

But inside Suman's mind, nothing felt peaceful.

He kept thinking about his father.

He remembered the day his father gave him the necklace. At that time Suman was Suman walked slowly along the dusty path while the wind moved through the tall grass beside the road. The sky above them was turning slightly gray as clouds slowly gathered.

The air felt different now, almost as if a storm was coming.

Lira walked beside him quietly. She kept looking around, making sure no one was following them.

After some time Suman broke the silence.

"Lira, do you think the people chasing us will ever stop?"

Lira thought for a moment.

"No," she said honestly. "People who want power rarely stop."

Suman looked down at the necklace again.

The small piece of paper inside it suddenly felt heavier than before.

It was strange to think that such a tiny map could cause so much trouble.

They continued walking for another hour.

The land slowly changed as they moved farther away from the village.

The trees became taller, and the road became more rocky.

Soon the hills began to rise in front of them.

From the top of a small hill, Suman could see the mountains more clearly now.

They were huge and covered in mist.

For a moment Suman felt both excited and afraid.

"Somewhere in those mountains is the place we are looking for," he said quietly.

Lira nodded.

"Yes. And probably many dangers too."

They began climbing down the hill.

The path was narrow and sometimes slippery.

Suman almost slipped once, but Lira quickly helped him.

After walking for a long time, they reached a quiet valley between two hills.

A small river flowed through the middle of it.

The sound of the water was peaceful.

Suman knelt near the river and splashed some water on his face.

The cool water helped him feel a little stronger again.

Lira filled a small bottle with water.

"We should rest here for a few minutes," she said.

Suman sat on a large stone near the river.

He looked around the valley.

For the first time since the journey began, everything felt calm.

But deep inside, he knew the danger had not disappeared.

Somewhere behind them, the members of the Shadow Circle were still searching.

After resting for a short while, Suman stood up again.

He looked toward the mountains one more time.

"We are getting closer," he said.

Lira smiled slightly.

"Yes, but the hardest part is probably still ahead."

The wind grew stronger and the clouds above became darker.

A distant sound of thunder echoed through the mountains.

The storm was coming.

Suman tightened his grip on the necklace.

No matter what happened next, he knew he could not turn back now.

The journey had already begun.

And somewhere far ahead, the hidden secret of the map was waiting to be discovered. For a moment Suman stood silently, listening to the sound of the wind moving across the valley. The mountains ahead looked larger than ever.

Dark clouds slowly covered the sky and the air became colder.

"It looks like the storm will reach us soon," Lira said.

Suman looked around carefully.

They needed a safe place before the rain started.

After walking a little farther, they saw a group of large rocks near the side of the hill. Between the rocks there was a small space that could protect them from the wind.

"Let's stay here until the storm passes," Lira suggested.

Both of them quickly moved toward the rocks.

Just a few minutes later, the rain started falling heavily.

The sound of the rain hitting the ground echoed across the valley.

Suman sat down and watched the rain silently.

The world around them slowly turned gray as the storm grew stronger.

Lightning flashed across the sky, followed by loud thunder.

For a moment Suman felt nervous again.

But at the same time he felt stronger than before.

Only one day ago he would have been afraid of traveling this far from home.

Now he was sitting in the middle of the mountains during a storm.

Life had changed very quickly.

Lira looked at him and smiled slightly.

"You are braver than you think," she said.

Suman laughed a little.

"I don't feel very brave."

"Bravery doesn't mean you are not afraid," Lira smiled gently.

"It means you keep moving forward even when fear is in your heart."

Suman looked toward the distant mountains again. The journey ahead was still long, but he felt stronger now.

With new courage, he and Lira continued walking toward the mysterious mountains, ready to face whatever waited for them.
