Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Night That Changed Everything

Have you ever imagined that your mind could be the place where the memories of the dead gather, and the secret of your power?

Imagine if the memories and thoughts of people who die began to gather inside your own memory.

Imagine that inside your brain existed the thoughts and memories of a world-class scientist who passed away, a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, and many other people who excelled in their fields.

How would you be in your world?

What would your abilities and powers become?

Imagine the extent of your strength and the influence you would have on those around you.

But what if one day… those memories were no longer imagination, but reality inside your mind?

San is a poor young man who was born and raised in a poverty-stricken neighborhood. He never finished his education and now works at a plastic recycling company, earning a very low salary that barely covers his daily needs. Despite his difficult circumstances, San is the main provider for his family, which consists of his father, his mother, and five younger siblings.

As the eldest son, the responsibility of supporting the family financially falls entirely on his shoulders, especially since his father is disabled and no longer able to work.

Life moved in a dull and ordinary routine for San until one night when their neighbor passed away. Hearing the cries and wailing coming from the neighbor's house, San went over to see what had happened. There he discovered that the man had died. He found the man's wife and his two daughters weeping bitterly, gathered around the lifeless body of the head of the household, who lay on a simple mattress on the floor.

They told San that he had passed away, and he noticed that the man's eyes were still open. Out of respect, San gently closed them and tried to comfort the grieving family for the loss of their father. He stayed with them through the night and into the following day, helping them with the burial arrangements.

By the end of the next day, San returned home completely exhausted. As soon as he fell asleep, the neighbor appeared to him in a dream. The man told him that he should not have closed his eyes and began to reproach him for doing so. He then told San that he had brought a curse upon himself—one from which he would never be able to escape.

San suddenly woke up in terror, screaming and drenched in sweat.

Several days after that terrifying night San had experienced, life gradually returned to normal. San went back to his monotonous routine, waking up every morning and heading to work at the plastic recycling factory to support his small family.

One night, after having dinner with his family, San went to bed to sleep. As drowsiness slowly began to take over, he suddenly started seeing things he had never experienced before—things he had never witnessed in his life. They had nothing to do with him; instead, they were connected to someone else.

Do you know who?

Yes—the neighbor whose death San had witnessed, the same man he had seen lying lifeless on his bed with his two daughters and his wife beside him.

San began to see scenes showing how that man had first met his wife, long before they had their two daughters. It was as if San himself had been present during those moments, even though he had not even been born at that time.

Startled and deeply frightened by what he had seen, San suddenly sat up in his bed. A flood of questions rushed through his mind:

How could I possibly see what this man lived through? Are these events truly real, or am I just imagining them?
