Dark blood spilled across the Titan's shoulder as the monster roared in pain. The Titan reached for him with its enormous hand. Kai jumped away just before the creature's fingers closed around the spot where he had been standing. He landed lightly on the ground and rolled forward as the Titan charged again, its enormous body shaking the ground with every step. Kai ran directly toward it.
His fused genes pushed his speed and reaction time beyond their limits, allowing him to read the monster's movements seconds before they happened. The Titan swung its leg downward. Kai slid beneath the attack and struck the creature's knee joint with a powerful punch. The impact cracked the armored plate protecting the joint and forced the Titan to stagger slightly. Kai attacked again immediately, leaping upward and smashing both fists into the damaged armor. The Titan roared in fury but adapted quickly, sweeping its massive tail across the battlefield. The tail slammed into Kai before he could fully dodge, launching him across the platform.

Kai drove his knife deep into the vein. The Titan screamed as Rift energy burst from the wound and the creature's body convulsed violently. Kai held on as long as he could while the monster smashed its own shoulder against the ground in an attempt to crush him. Kai jumped away just before the impact and landed hard on the ground as the Titan staggered backward.
The massive creature trembled as energy leaked from the wound. Kai did not hesitate. He sprinted forward again with his fused genes pushing his body faster than ever before. He leaped high into the air and drove his fist directly into the cracked Rift vein. Titan Strength exploded through his arm. The vein ruptured instantly as a violent surge of energy erupted outward like a storm. The Titan collapsed. Its enormous body slammed into the ground with a thunderous crash that shook the entire facility. Silence followed. Kai stood still, breathing heavily as the system appeared in front of his vision.
