Origin of the Infinite Worlds
Chapter 8 – Fragment Assimilation
Light.
Only light.
No sound.
No sky.
No ground.
Just white—endless white.
---
Zerion is standing.
Still.
In front of him—
That Fragment.
It's no longer fighting.
Just staring.
---
"…where is this?" Zerion said slowly.
---
The Fragment smiled.
"…this is inside us."
---
Zerion narrowed his eyes.
"…illusion?"
---
"…no."
"…Origin Space."
---
A heavy silence.
---
Zerion looked around.
This place…
Feels strangely familiar.
As if—
Everything started from here.
---
Inside his mind, suddenly—
Flash.
Void.
Endless time.
An entity—
Sitting.
Thinking—
"Who am I?"
---
Zerion trembled.
"…this…"
---
The Fragment stepped forward.
"…remembering?"
---
Zerion stayed silent.
---
The Fragment said—
"…you were the creator."
"…you made everything."
"…but…"
He stopped.
---
"…you couldn't understand yourself."
---
Silence.
---
Zerion said in a low voice—
"…so I broke myself…"
---
The Fragment nodded.
"…yes."
"…you divided yourself into pieces like us."
---
Zerion closed his eyes.
---
Everything is connecting.
---
"…Authority…"
"…Fragments…"
"…System…"
---
He opened his eyes.
"…all of it was created by me."
---
The Fragment smiled faintly.
"…you finally understand."
---
Silence.
---
Then—
The Fragment extended his hand.
---
"…now, a choice."
---
Zerion looked.
"…what choice?"
---
"…absorb me."
"…you will take another step forward."
---
"…and if I don't?"
---
A cold light in the Fragment's eyes.
---
"…then we fight."
---
Silence.
---
Zerion walked slowly.
Stood in front of him.
---
"…are you a separate entity?"
---
The Fragment smiled—
"…no."
"…I am you."
"…the part you rejected."
---
Zerion tilted his head.
"…what part?"
---
The Fragment said—
"…Destruction."
---
In an instant—
The white space shattered.
---
He saw—
Universes breaking.
Galaxies collapsing.
Stars fading out.
---
The Fragment said—
"…you only wanted creation."
"…but without destruction, creation is incomplete."
---
Zerion stayed silent.
---
"…that's why I exist."
---
Silence.
---
Zerion slowly said—
"…you're right."
---
The Fragment smiled.
"…then—"
---
In an instant—
Zerion grabbed his hand.
---
The Fragment stopped.
---
Zerion said—
"…I accept you."
---
Light exploded.
---
The Fragment shattered.
Into light.
Into power.
---
Everything entered Zerion.
---
His body trembled.
---
His eyes—
From blue to black—
Black to white—
Then something else.
---
The system ignited—
---
Authority Fragment Absorbed
Destruction Authority Unlocked
---
New Skill Acquired: Absolute Erase
---
Zerion didn't scream.
But—
Everything around him trembled.
---
Origin Space is breaking apart.
---
A voice—
"Return…"
---
Zerion opened his eyes.
---
He is back in reality.
---
Outside the city.
In front of the Gate.
---
Luna is lying on the ground.
She sat up.
"…Zerion…?"
---
Zerion stands.
Still.
---
A different aura is now flowing from his body.
---
Not just power—
Authority.
---
Luna slowly stood up.
"…you've changed…"
---
Zerion looked.
His eyes deep.
---
"…I was always like this."
---
Silence.
---
The Gate has fully closed.
---
In the distance—
The city begins to move again.
---
Time resumes.
---
Luna, shocked—
"…you… froze the entire city…"
---
Zerion replied lightly—
"…temporary."
---
Kael is running from a distance.
---
He stopped.
His eyes on Zerion.
---
"…what did you do?"
---
Zerion said nothing.
---
He looked at the sky.
---
The Gates are still there.
But—
Fewer.
---
A glint in his eyes.
---
"…this is the beginning."
---
Luna asked—
"…the beginning of what?"
---
Zerion said in a low voice—
"…Fragment hunt."
---
The system again—
---
Main Quest Updated
Collect All Authority Fragments
Progress: 1%
---
Kael whispered—
"…1%…?"
---
Zerion smiled faintly.
---
"…my own power…"
"…I have to find it myself."
---
In the distance—
A Gate trembled again.
---
But—
This time—
Not a monster from inside—
---
An eye.
---
Massive.
---
It is watching.
---
Directly—
At Zerion.
---
A voice—
"Creator…"
---
Zerion remained still.
---
A faint smile on his lips.
---
"…who are you?"
---
The answer came—
---
"…Observer…"
---
The Gate closed.
---
Silence.
---
Luna, trembling—
"…what was that…?"
---
Zerion said slowly—
---
"…they are watching."
---
Kael asked—
"…who?"
---
Zerion looked.
---
No fear in his eyes now.
---
Only curiosity.
---
"…those who exist beyond everything."

Chapter 8 – Fragment Assimilation
Part 2
Astra City is slowly returning to normal.
People are coming out of shelters.
Hunters are checking the damage.
But—
Everyone is talking about one thing.
Zerion.
---
"Who is that guy?"
"He stopped the Gate alone!"
"He stopped time…"
---
Rumors are spreading.
Fast.
---
Astra Guild.
Top floor.
Kael is standing in front of the window.
His eyes on the city.
---
"…we can't control him."
---
Someone from behind said—
"…then we eliminate him?"
---
Kael slowly turned.
His eyes cold.
---
"…do you want to die?"
---
The man went silent.
---
Kael said in a low voice—
"…making him an enemy means…"
"…destroying this city."
---
Silence.
---
"…we will observe."
---
---
Outside the city.
Broken road.
Zerion and Luna are walking.
---
Luna said—
"…how do you feel now?"
---
Zerion stayed silent for a moment.
---
"…not complete…"
"…but clearer than before."
---
"…meaning?"
---
"…I know… what's missing."
---
Luna looked.
---
"…Destruction…"
---
Zerion smiled faintly.
---
"…Creation alone is useless."
"…it needs balance."
---
Silence.
---
Suddenly—
The system lit up.
---
New Function Unlocked
Fragment Detection Radius Expanded
---
Zerion stopped.
---
His eyes turned in one direction.
---
"…found it."
---
Luna looked.
"…that fast?"
---
Zerion nodded.
---
"…it didn't hide."
"…instead…"
"…it's calling me."
---
---
In the distance—
An abandoned industrial zone.
Broken factory.
Rusty metal.
---
An unnatural silence all around.
---
Zerion stopped.
---
"…here."
---
Luna whispered—
"…this feels bad…"
---
Zerion moved forward.
---
Inside the factory.
Darkness.
---
Suddenly—
A sound.
---
CLANG… CLANG…
---
Someone is walking.
---
Luna readied her weapon.
---
Zerion didn't stop.
---
From the darkness—
A man came out.
---
But—
His eyes are empty.
---
His body is abnormal.
---
He looked at Zerion.
---
"…late…"
---
Zerion frowned.
"…are you a Fragment?"
---
The man smiled.
---
"…no…"
"…I am the host."
---
Silence.
---
Luna said—
"…what do you mean?"
---
The man stepped forward slowly.
---
"…the Fragment chose me…"
"…I am its container."
---
Zerion looked—
"…then where is it?"
---
The man hit his chest.
---
"…here."
---
In an instant—
His body trembled.
---
Black energy started leaking out.
---
His body began to break.
---
"…too… much…"
---
Zerion narrowed his eyes.
---
"…you can't control it."
---
The man screamed—
"…SHUT UP!"
---
In an instant—
His body exploded.
---
But—
Not blood.
---
Energy.
---
Black, distorted energy.
---
From within—
An entity formed.
---
Not like the previous Fragment.
---
This one is unstable.
---
Filled with rage.
---
"…DESTROY…"
---
Luna stepped back.
"…this is different…"
---
Zerion stood in front.
---
"…a corrupted fragment…"
---
The entity roared.
---
"CREATOR… DIE…"
---
In an instant—
It attacked.
---
Zerion raised his hand.
---
"…Stop."
---
But—
This time it didn't stop.
---
The entity struck.
---
BOOM
---
Zerion stepped back.
---
For the first time.
---
Luna shocked—
"…you—"
---
Zerion stood still.
---
A faint smile on his lips.
---
"…interesting…"
---
He opened his hand.
---
Power gathered around him.
---
"…you're broken."
---
The entity screamed—
"DESTROY EVERYTHING!"
---
Zerion closed his eyes.
---
"…then…"
---
He opened them.
---
Darkness now in his eyes.
---
"…I'll fix you."
---
In an instant—
He moved forward.
---
Their powers clashed.
---
The factory is collapsing.
---
The ground is breaking.
---
Luna stood at a distance.
---
She realized—
This isn't a fight.
---
This is—
An authority clash.
---
Zerion said in a low voice—
"…Erase."
---
In an instant—
A part of the entity vanished.
---
It screamed.
---
"…NOOO—"
---
Zerion stepped forward.
---
"…you don't belong in this state."
---
He extended his hand.
---
"…Return to origin."
---
The entity trembled.
---
Its body is breaking.
---
Slowly—
Light emerged.
---
A small Fragment core.
---
Zerion grabbed it.
---
Silence.
---
System—
---
Corrupted Fragment Purified
Authority Fragment Absorbed
---
New Authority: Chaos Balance
---
Zerion closed his eyes.
---
His body trembled.
---
Inside him—
Creation + Destruction + Chaos
---
All merging.
---
He opened his eyes.
---
Luna looked at him.
---
"…are you okay?"
---
Zerion nodded slightly.
---
"…clearer."
---
Silence.
---
In the distance—
The sky trembled again.
---
A Gate is opening.
---
But—
This time—
A voice from inside—
---
"…Too fast…"
---
Zerion looked.
---
A glint in his eyes.
---
"…I'm coming."

Chapter 8 – Fragment Assimilation
Part 3
The broken factory in the industrial zone is now almost in ruins. Twisted metal structures, cracked walls, and dust still floating in the air. Just moments ago, it was a battlefield—now it's eerily silent.
Zerion stands on the shattered ground. The Fragment in his hand has already been absorbed. But inside his body, waves of power are still fluctuating. Creation, Destruction, and the newly acquired Chaos—merging together into a strange balance.
Luna slowly stepped forward. Her eyes still alert.
"This one wasn't like the previous," she said, tension in her voice. "That Fragment… it felt broken."
Zerion stayed silent for a moment, then said,
"It wasn't broken on its own. It was being forced."
"Meaning?"
"Host," Zerion said in a low voice. "That human couldn't handle the Fragment's power. So it became corrupted."
Luna looked deeply at him.
"Then the next ones could be like this too?"
Zerion tilted his head slightly.
"Maybe. And then they won't just be fragments… they'll become disasters."
Silence fell for a moment. Somewhere, a piece of broken metal dropped with a dull sound.
Right then, the System appeared again in front of Zerion.
Authority Update
Fragments Collected: 2%
Warning: External Interference Increasing
Zerion frowned.
"External interference…"
Luna asked,
"Does that mean someone is interfering?"
Zerion kept looking ahead.
"Yes. And they're not just watching… they're moving."
Suddenly, the air grew heavy. As if an invisible pressure was pressing down on them. Luna instantly became alert.
"You feel that?"
Zerion nodded slowly.
"Yes. This isn't a Fragment…"
He paused. A deep look formed in his eyes.
"…Observer."
The next moment—
CRACK
A small fracture appeared in the sky. Like a Gate—but different. Not black, not white—transparent, like glass.
Something moved inside that crack.
Luna stepped back.
"This… isn't a gate!"
Zerion stood still, eyes fixed on it.
Slowly, the crack widened, and a figure became visible inside. Not fully clear—only partially seen. But it was obvious—this wasn't human.
A voice echoed. Deep, heavy, yet strangely calm.
"…Creator…"
A faint glint appeared in Zerion's eyes.
"You again…"
The figure didn't fully emerge. Only half visible.
"…you are progressing too fast," the voice said.
Zerion replied coldly,
"Did you come to stop me?"
A faint sound, almost like a chuckle.
"…no. I only came to observe."
Luna whispered,
"Is it playing with us?"
Zerion didn't answer. He just kept staring.
"You are collecting fragments," the Observer said.
"But you don't know… where the end is."
Zerion spoke slowly,
"The end is mine."
Silence for a few seconds.
Then—
"…maybe," the voice said. "But remember… you are not alone."
Suddenly, the crack trembled. Then it slowly began to close.
Zerion said one last time,
"What do you want?"
A final answer echoed—
"…Balance."
Then—the crack disappeared.
Silence returned.
Luna exhaled slowly.
"I really don't like this."
Zerion replied lightly,
"Neither do I."
He looked at the sky.
"But it's unavoidable."
For a moment, both of them stood in silence.
Then Zerion started walking.
"Let's go."
Luna walked beside him.
"Where?"
Zerion said,
"We need to return to the city."
"Why?"
"Because…" he paused.
"…they will start moving now."
Luna didn't understand.
"They… who?"
Zerion didn't answer directly.
"Hunters, Guild… and those who are watching us—all of them."
The two slowly left the industrial zone.
As they returned toward the city, those voices echoed again inside Zerion's mind—
"Fragments…"
"Complete…"
"Balance…"
He closed his eyes for a moment.
Then opened them again.
This time, there was clear determination in his eyes.
He knows—
This isn't just a journey to collect power.
This is the beginning of something bigger.
Astra City can be seen from a distance. Lights glowing, people moving, everything looking normal.
But Zerion knows—
Nothing is normal.
In the distance, on top of a tall building in one corner of the city, an unknown man is standing.
His eyes locked directly on Zerion.
He spoke slowly—
"…Target confirmed…"
A device in his hand lit up.
"…Operation begin."
Zerion suddenly stopped.
Luna asked,
"What happened?"
Zerion slowly turned his head.
His eyes fixed directly on that building.
"…they're here."
The air grew heavy again.
A storm is coming.

Chapter 8 – Fragment Assimilation
Part 4
Evening has fallen over Astra City, but the unrest inside the city hasn't decreased at all. Streetlights are on, people are moving, but there's suppressed fear on every face. After the Gate outbreak, the city is trying to return to normal—but deep inside, something has changed.
Zerion and Luna slowly entered the city. Soldiers, hunters, emergency teams—everyone is busy. Some are carrying the injured, others are reporting. But Zerion understands—this is all surface-level. Something bigger is forming underneath.
"They've already started moving," Zerion said in a low voice.
Luna looked at him.
"They who?"
Zerion didn't answer directly. His eyes moved toward the tall buildings of the city.
"Those who don't just observe… they want to control."
Before Luna could respond—
BOOM
An explosion erupted in the distance.
Both of them turned instantly. Fire and smoke burst out from the middle of a tall building.
People screamed.
Hunters rushed in.
Luna said,
"This isn't a Gate…"
Zerion shook his head.
"No. This is an attack."
Without wasting a second, he ran. Luna followed.
Within moments, they reached the scene. Half the building had collapsed. Fire, smoke, and broken concrete everywhere.
But what Zerion was looking for—it wasn't the fire.
He felt it—
A strange energy.
Like a Fragment… but different.
"They're here," he said.
Right then, three figures emerged from the smoke. Black outfits, faces partially covered. Their eyes cold, calculating.
Luna immediately took a defensive stance.
"They're not hunters…"
Zerion said calmly,
"No. They're trained."
One of the three stepped forward.
"…Zerion," he said, emotionless.
Zerion looked at him.
"You know me?"
The man gave a faint smile.
"We've been looking for you."
"Why?"
"Because you…" he paused, "…are the key."
Silence.
Luna whispered,
"Who are they?"
The man answered,
"Observation Unit."
Zerion's eyes narrowed.
"Observer's people?"
The man didn't reply, but his silence was the answer.
"What do you want?" Zerion asked directly.
The man said,
"Simple. You'll come with us."
Luna immediately said,
"No."
The man looked at her.
"You're irrelevant."
The next moment—
He raised his hand.
An invisible force rushed toward Luna.
But—
THUD
Zerion stepped in and stopped it.
His eyes turned cold.
"…don't touch her."
The air grew heavy.
The three exchanged glances. Then attacked together.
One rushed in with speed. Another fired energy shots from a distance. The third raised his hand, distorting the environment.
Zerion didn't move.
Power began to swirl around him.
Creation, Destruction, Chaos—all awakened together.
The first attack—he stopped it with a simple raise of his hand.
The second—shattered with a flick of his finger.
The third—collapsed under his gaze.
All three froze.
"Impossible…" one whispered.
Zerion slowly stepped forward.
"…you want to take me?"
His voice calm, but terrifying.
"…try."
The next moment—
He vanished.
BOOM
The first man was slammed to the ground.
Before the second could react—
CRACK
His armor shattered.
The third stepped back and activated a device.
"Fallback!" he shouted.
But it was too late.
Zerion appeared in front of him.
"…did the Observer send you?"
The man said in a trembling voice,
"…we just follow orders…"
Zerion stared at him for a moment.
Then said—
"…then take a message back."
He raised his hand.
"…I'm coming."
A wave of power spread.
All three collapsed to the ground.
Not dead.
But—incapacitated.
Luna slowly approached.
"Why did you spare them?"
Zerion replied,
"They're just pawns."
"And the king?"
Zerion looked at the sky.
"…it will come on its own."
Silence fell.
In the distance, sirens echoed. Emergency teams were approaching.
Zerion turned and started walking.
Luna walked beside him.
"What now?"
Zerion said,
"Now…"
He paused.
"…we don't wait."
A faint glint in his eyes.
"…we hunt them."
High above the city—
On an invisible layer—
A shadow stood.
Watching below.
A slow smile formed on its lips.
"…Game begins…"
The sky trembled slightly again.
And somewhere—
Another Fragment awakened.
(°_°)
"They thought they were hunting him… but tonight, the hunter became the target."
