Synopsis
In a world where science is rapidly evolving, a secret experiment known as Project Genesis pushes humanity beyond its natural limits—creating a new generation of enhanced humans known as the Emerald Sentinels. Samuel, Clinton, CJ, Elwin, and Lilian were once ordinary individuals. Now, they possess extraordinary, animal-inspired abilities—super speed and reflexes, lightning control, mind reading, heat manipulation, and advanced sensory detection. Trained in secrecy, they are deployed as a last line of defense against rising threats that conventional forces can no longer handle. But their first real missions reveal something far more dangerous than terrorism or war. Coordinated attacks, advanced weapons, and mysterious enemies begin to surface, each more deadly than the last. What seems like chaos slowly forms a pattern—one that suggests something far greater is at play. As the team grows stronger and begins to understand their powers, a chilling question emerges: Were they created to protect the world… or for something else entirely? Unbeknownst to them, Earth has already been chosen. A hidden force is watching. Waiting. Studying. It has done this before—on other worlds. And every time, it ends the same way. As the truth begins to unfold, the Emerald Sentinels must rise beyond their training, their fears, and the limits of their own abilities. Because this is no longer just a fight for their nation— It is a fight for the survival of the entire planet. And this time… humanity may not be ready for what is coming.

Chapter 1 - 11:11

Late at night in Owerri, a powerful research facility stood quietly outside the busy part of the city.

The building was known as LINKS Lab.

Most people believed the lab only worked on advanced medicine and biotechnology.

But deep inside the underground section of the facility, something much bigger was happening.

Inside a large laboratory room, powerful machines filled the air with a constant humming sound.

Several glass containers stood in a circle around a strange metal chamber in the middle of the room.

Inside the containers were rare creatures collected from different parts of the world.

A tardigrade, a tiny organism that could survive extreme heat and cold.

An electric eel capable of producing powerful electricity.

A pistol shrimp that could create powerful shockwaves with a single snap.

An axolotl known for its ability to regenerate body parts.

An octopus with one of the most complex nervous systems in nature.

A mantis shrimp that could strike faster than the eye could see.

Scientists believed these creatures carried biological secrets that could change human evolution.

For years, the government had funded the research quietly.

The goal was simple but dangerous.

Create a super human.

Someone with abilities strong enough to protect Nigeria if conflict ever came from powerful rivals like Ghana or South Africa.

But the experiments had not gone well.

Not even close.

Many test subjects had already been used in earlier trials.

Some died within minutes after their bodies rejected the biological energy.

Others changed in terrifying ways.

Their bodies mutated.

Bones twisted.

Skin hardened.

Organs failed.

In the end, most of them died like victims of a terrible disease.

Because of that, every experiment inside the lab was now done with extreme caution.

Standing near the control station was Dr. Kenneth, the lead genetic engineer.

Next to him was Professor Gabriel, the head director of LINKS Lab.

Around them, several other scientists worked carefully.

Dr. Esther monitored the energy readings.

Dr. Precious studied the biological reaction patterns.

Dr. Jude handled the containment systems.

Dr. Kelvin checked the particle acceleration chamber.

The machine in the center of the room was the most expensive equipment in the facility.

A particle acceleration chamber designed to extract biological energy from the creatures and convert it into genetic signals.

Tonight they wanted to try again; they also just employed a new scientist Dr Charles who has good record at radiology

So the plan was Instead of injecting the energy directly into a human body, the team planned to stabilize the energy first.

If it worked, it would be a major breakthrough.

Dr. Kenneth adjusted his glasses.

"Energy levels are stable."

Professor Gabriel nodded.

"Begin the process."

The chamber slowly began to glow with a deep green light.

Inside the containers, the creatures started reacting to the energy field.

At first, everything looked normal.

Dr. Esther watched the monitor carefully.

"Energy output rising… but still within safe levels."

Dr. Kelvin leaned closer to his screen.

Then his expression changed.

"Wait… the energy is increasing faster than expected."

The numbers on the monitor jumped suddenly.

Dr. Jude looked up.

"That's not supposed to happen."

The machine began vibrating slightly.

The humming sound grew louder.

Dr. Kenneth frowned.

"Reduce the power input."

Dr. Precious quickly typed commands into her console.

But the system didn't respond.

"It's not shutting down!"

Suddenly alarms began ringing throughout the room.

WARNING. ENERGY OVERLOAD.

The creatures inside the containers started reacting violently.

The electric eel released a burst of electricity.

The pistol shrimp snapped its claw rapidly.

The bombardier beetle sprayed chemicals inside its chamber.

The machine absorbed all the energy at once.

The entire laboratory started shaking.

"Shut it down!" Professor Gabriel shouted.

But it was too late.

A massive beam of green energy burst out of the chamber and shot upward through the building.

High above the earth, the energy struck a communications satellite.

The energy scattered across the sky like a wave.

Miles away, life continued normally at a student hostel called Emerald Lodge.

Inside the lodge, students were relaxing in their rooms.

Some were studying.

Some were cooking.

Some were playing music.

Outside the building, three students sat near the entrance.

Samuel leaned back in a chair.

His phone battery was almost dead, so he was watching an episode of Dragon Ball on his iPhone watch.

The tiny screen reflected bright anime colors on his face.

Next to him, John walked slowly while talking on the phone.

"Relax now," John said, smiling.

"I told you I'll call you later tonight."

A girl's voice laughed from the other side.

A few steps away, Emmanuel sat quietly on the staircase.

He was watching the late-night news on his phone.

"…unusual energy readings have been detected near Owerri tonight…" the news reporter said.

Inside Emerald Lodge, other students were in their rooms.

CJ blasted music through his speakers.

Clinton lay on his bed reading quietly.

Elwin focused on graphic designs on his laptop.

Lilian cooked noodles while checking crypto prices.

Michael continued doing push-ups on the floor.

Caleb was busy playing a video game.

Everything felt completely normal.

Peaceful.

Then suddenly—

The sky flashed bright green.

Samuel frowned and looked up.

"What was that?"

For one strange moment, the air became completely silent.

Then—

BOOOOOOM.

A violent shockwave exploded across the area.

Windows shattered.

Electric lights burst.

Phones went dark.

Samuel's watch suddenly became extremely hot.

John dropped his phone in shock.

Emmanuel jumped to his feet.

A strange green wave rushed through Emerald Lodge like lightning.

Sam

uel's vision blurred.

His heart started racing.

Around him, people screamed.

Then darkness swallowed everything.
