Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Blood on White Hands

The man on the table was barely alive.

Asli's training kicked in immediately, pushing aside her fear. She rushed forward, examining the wound — a deep gunshot injury.

Gunshot.

Her breath caught.

This wasn't an accident.

"Save him," Ferhat said from behind her.

No emotion. No urgency. Just a command.

Asli turned slightly. "I need proper equipment. This isn't—"

"You have what you need."

Her eyes scanned the room. Basic tools. Barely sterile. This wasn't a hospital — it was a setup.

A dangerous one.

Still… she couldn't let the man die.

Not when she could save him.

Hours passed in tense silence as she worked, her hands steady despite the chaos inside her mind. Sweat dripped down her forehead, but she didn't stop.

Finally—

"He'll live," she said, her voice trembling slightly.

Relief washed over her.

But it didn't last long.

Because just as she removed her gloves…

A gunshot echoed through the room.

Asli froze.

Her heart stopped.

Slowly… she turned.

The patient she had just saved…

Was dead.

Shot.

Right in front of her.

Her hands… still stained with his blood.

Her breath came out in broken gasps. "W-why…?"

Ferhat lowered the gun, his expression unchanged.

"He was a problem."

That was it.

No regret. No hesitation.

Just death.

And now…

She had seen too much.
