I felt around for anything supernatural with my mind. I probed for 10 seconds before finding something that felt like a switch.
'Aha! Found it.'
I couldn't hold back my grin as I flipped the proverbial switch. My entire body coursed with something strange. Understanding, enhanced senses. The lot.
'Thank you shark God. I'll never harm a shark as long as I live..'
With this new understanding I opened my eyes held out my right hand to the wooden cube and my left to the wooden desk. The cube suddenly slipped into the ground and shot up out of the middle of the desk before sliding off.
*Plonk*
"Uhhh?"
I slowly turned my head with a sheepish smile towards the observers.

'Don't look at me like that… this isn't good for my mental health. You look surprised but not in a good way'.
—15 SECONDS AGO - DOCTORS POV—
'Okay then. Let's see this young man's performance.'
7 seconds later…
'Is he trying to go Super Saiyan???'
He stared in confusion at the seemingly struggling child.
3 seconds later…
'Looks like he has had an epiphany.'
As the child held out his hand and moved the cube the doctor watched carefully. Already thinking about how to define this quirk.
'How wonderful'.

After some more tests including how big the portal could be made, how long it could be maintained and how much weight it could take the results were in.
The doctor pulled out a clip board and stated. "Quirk User: Kurusu Takaba. Quirk Type: Emitter. Quirk Name: Void Step. Pretty simple huh? Statistics: maximum weight - unknown, maximum size - 2 meters, maximum time opened - dependant on size and useless measuring considering it should grow naturally over time. Side effects: too much usage leads to stamina loss. Recommended actions: let it grow naturally, unauthorised use of quirks is illegal. Got that kid?"
"Yes sir!" I said with a little salute.
'Only train in private. Understood. Feels like a given though'.
"Okay then you may go. Thanks for being pretty interesting and not a health violation like the last one." The doctor droned on.
The headmistress then grabbed my hand and quickly lead me away.
"WAIT!" I shouted. "I GOTTA KNOW WHAT THAT GUYS QUIRK WAS!!"
'Is this guy trying to edge me or something?
The doctor just gave me a knowing smile as I was dragged away.
Of course I couldn't hear this, but the doctor said. "Honestly, being able to pee different colours… poor guy."

Back in the car I was already formulating a plan.
"Hey headmistress? Can I have access to the internet please?"
"Sure, here's my phone." She said passively then returning focus to the road.
'Alright then. Time to check my surroundings. First of all let's figure out where UA is..'
One quick search later and I learnt that UA High was located in Mustafu.
'Okay so then where am I?'
Another search later and I found out I was living in… Mustafu.
'This feels intentional. Guess my plan is set. A little visit won't matter much will it? Hehehheee'.
A quick check in the mirror allowed the headmistress to see his expression.
'What could he possibly be searching up? Or is he just going to gloat to his seniors about his quirk? Who knows… let's just get back to the orphanage'.
"Hehehehehheeee…"
"What was that dear?"
"NoThIng!" I squealed.

"Hey guys! Takaba's back!"
"Hey what quirk did you get?"
'Sigh… I don't wanna deal with this right now. My room is right there. I could probably just…'
I quickly sunk into the ground seemingly disappearing to the other orphans.
"WOAH!"
"HE DISAPPEARED!"
Multiple people chimed in with gasps and 'wows' as well one "did he just die??"
I could hear them all from my room.
"Eurgh that makes me feel so tired." I quickly curled up under my covers and dozed off."

—The next day—
I immediately hopped out of bed and got to work. First was some stretching and then I place one portal point on my bed and the other on my ceiling above but a little too the left so I would land on the bed but be able to roll into the portal again.
I jumped in and repeated this for 15 minutes placing the portals back after each use before showering and having breakfast. I then returned but this time, trying to maintain one singular portal for an hour before sleeping until lunch. After that I kept switching it up until dinner and the same afterwards. This process repeated for 5 days with the occasional kick to my arse when the workers got fed up with me not socialising.
I spent that time outside my room not socialising but instead mapping a route to UA High and calculating if I could make it with my current stamina. I could easily do it however I decided to walk most of the way there to avoid hero's and cops from being suspicious. Furthermore, I need to save it for getting past UA's defences.
The next day I left behind a note in my room saying 'I'll be back for dinner. Super important plans' and I had also left a little chibi me with my thumbs up in the bottom left corner!
'Sometimes my genius surprises even me. I have at least four hours before they check. Not enough time since it'll take an hour and a half to get there then I have to stealth around the campus and complete my master plan… muehehheehe.'
—1 hour and 20 minutes later—
'I'm ahead of schedule… with a bit of luck I might get back before the orphanage notices.'
Using my quirk I slip into a tree gaining vision over the school walls.
'Pretty comically tall tree. Almost feels too good to be true…'
'…Fuck it we ball'
I slipped towards the entrance and walked in. I purposely fully walked in head down so that hopefully no one would notice me.
'Just keep walking, just keep walking..'
*Bonk*
"Ow". My head had hit something as hard as concrete. It was in the middle of the corridor, it was tall, big, gray and suspiciously human-shaped.
'Wait a minute'.
*Gulp*
"How did you get in here?" Puzzled the 5'11 behemoth squatted down next to me. Clearly shocked to see a small child there.
"Erm. Where's the stairs?" I looked into his eyes puffing out my cheeks and squinting hopefully.
"Over there". He pointed."But why-".
I was already gone. Running up the stairs, I kept going until the top floor where I slid down, back against the wall, panting.
"Phew."
"So what you doing there young man?" A soft whimsical voice whispered into my ear sending shoes down my spine.
"ARRGHHH?!?" I jumped back in horror to see a small white figure in a suit standing there.
"How about we talk in my office". It said, it's eyes twinkling with mirth.
A/N: I'm plotting something devious alr chat… hehehehhh. Nezu OUR GOAT. Also when he uses his quirk for teleports through portals when he 'slips' he goes through his entrance portal. It's simple slang I guess.
