Chapter 121 - Arius and Karma meet

"On the other side," said Arius, "is this all you want?" Nahira replied, "Yes, this is my only request. And if the opportunity arises, I wouldn't mind asking for a second one." Arius said, deep in thought, "And what will I get in return for that?" Nahira looked surprised and said, "What? Isn't that enough?" Arius said, "No, I don't care about that. I want something that belongs to me in return. I want to enter that archive of knowledge you mentioned earlier. As for killing Karma, I want you to completely erase Isola's bounty from the records." Nahira said, "Agreed. And don't worry about the rest of the matter; no one will know except you and me." He said, "I know that." He said, "Well, I am heading to World Zero now. Is it really in the south?" Nahira replied, "Yes, it is, and specifically near Dazai's fortified castle." Arius said, "Good." Nahira said to him, "Wait, will you fight him as the Black-Eyed and as Arius? Because he doesn't know that you two are the same person." Arius said without turning back, "Is that even important in the first place?" Then he flew away from the spot. While Nahira watched him, she said, "Ah, what a fool you are, Arius, but you are still a useful tool for me as I expected. I will still use you even for matters like that." Then she began to laugh, putting her hand over her mouth and laughing mockingly, "Hahahaha," and then said, "They are all fools, but truly entertaining. Let's wait for that with patience."

On the other side, in a dark place, we see three chairs in front of a huge table bearing a map of all the worlds. Three shadows are seated, talking with intense annoyance. There were two male voices and one female voice. The female, Nanto, spoke first, "Listen, I can no longer tolerate Karma's childishness for long. He has dragged us into a bad situation." One of the men said, "You are right, Nanto. Karma's actions over the past 3,000 years have been foolish, and his decisions are full of loopholes. Do you remember the day he caused the erasure of 13 worlds just because he didn't like their exterior color?" Nanto said, "Listen to me, Darrell, don't forget his mobilization of 370 trillion troops just to wipe them out in an instant to show some of his soldiers that he is invincible."

The third person remained silent until he decided to call Karma personally. Indeed, he opened the connection, and Karma was sitting in his previous spot. Karma said, "What do you want, Pablo? I'm busy here." Pablo, the third person, said, "Karma, haven't you finished cleansing the world yet?" Karma said, "No, there's a little left. Unfortunately, we lost half the world due to a battle fought between Barion and some cursed, damned bastard." Pablo hung up the line and said, "Darrell, why did you do that?" Darrell said, "I don't know, I just didn't want to see the face of this despicable creature ever again." Nanto said, "Listen, both of you, I feel a little disgusted by something." They looked at her and said, "And what is it?" She said, "Listen, mortals have become annoying lately. Many of them have reached parity with the rulers in power, and I don't like this matter at all." Darrell said, "The matter is clear; it is Karma's failed management. If not for his decisions, the situation wouldn't be like this." Pablo said, "We gave him the freedom to erase whatever worlds he wants and build others, provided that what he erases is something that threatens our existence. But the fool has been getting too involved with mortals, neglecting his responsibilities, and appointing and dismissing whoever he wants." Nanto said, "What do you suggest?" Pablo said, "I have a suggestion: to remove Karma from his position and appoint someone worthy of it, someone who understands what it is to be a ruler, not some idiot who doesn't appreciate responsibility." Darrell said, "But will we really do that? Don't forget that Karma has many achievements in the past, especially in the Black Century and the Void Century." Nanto said, "Yes, but they came at the expense of many things. Those eras were difficult, but we got out of them, and now we are at the height of our control. What I want to say is that I agree to dismiss Karma, and I have a suitable person to take over rule, but I only want agreement from both of you." Pablo said, "And who is this person?" Nanto said, "Nahira Ishtar."

Both of them opened their eyes wide and said, "The one who rules the first world?" Nanto said, "Yes, I have noticed her unique style of authority over her world and seen the system and obedience existing among her world's inhabitants towards her. She is a dictatorial queen par excellence, and she will be suitable for our goals and to guarantee the survival of our authority. Because she also—and this is a piece of information many are ignorant of—is stronger than Karma, and to her, he is just a floating insect buzzing around her. Also, she spoke to me a long time ago and told me that she would take care of getting rid of Karma without us facing any problems or pressures at all." Pablo said, "I have seen her several times. She had a distinct and unique presence, and what is truly distinctive is her indifferent and authoritarian personality." Darrell said, "Will she really be suitable?" Pablo said, "Yes, she is suitable. I remember that in the past, her father was supposed to be the ruler of everything, but he was killed in the past." Darrell said, "And what use is that if he was weak?" Pablo said, "The one who killed him is Nahira herself." Darrell is shocked and says, "What kind of heart does that lady carry?" Nanto said, "She has no heart at all. She was born killing those who gave birth to her; she is a demon in the form of a person moving about. She will do the impossible to always be first, and she cares about no one at all."

Pablo said, "Good, let her do what she wants. I will tell Karma right now that he is fired from his position." He calls back to open a connection with Karma and says, "What is it, Karma? Why did you hang up earlier?" Pablo said, "Karma, we were talking and thinking together and discovered that you are unqualified to assume your current position, and we have decided to strip you of that authority. Therefore, you are fired. Do not return to us, and we do not want to see your face in the Ten Worlds. And if you try to return, you will become a wanted criminal like those stray bastards. Also, there is no use in returning because the Ten Worlds are no longer accessible for entry in the first place, so don't try."

Karma is shocked by what he hears and says, "Wait, what are you saying? How dare you! Who do you think you are?!" Pablo hangs up the line, and he and his two companions burst out laughing. Karma is angered by what he hears and is shocked at the same time. The Master is also shocked by what he hears, and Mythos is shocked, not understanding the matter, but he realized that Karma is no longer the ruler. The Master said, "Master, why did the Elders do something like this at a time like this?" Karma, in a rage, said, "I don't know, but I will go to find out. Stay here."

Karma left the place with unmeasurable speed, flying and breaking through World 0. He tried to enter the Ten Worlds, but when he tried, a barrier blocked him, making him bounce back. He said, "What is this?" Karma began to scream, trying to enter, but he couldn't. Karma realized that it was useless, for the authority of the worlds was now opposing him—meaning what would rule the worlds now was something higher than him, which is why he was unable to enter. Karma said, "You will pay the price, you bastards! I will lay my hands on you. No one dares to do that to me; I am the one who fires people, not people firing me. I will enter, I will find you, I will destroy you!"

Then suddenly, Karma felt a massive energy coming towards him and said, "What is this energy? Good god, I feel like a bullet is coming towards me to pierce my heart!" He looked around and said, "Yes, it's in that direction." Suddenly, he glimpsed something coming towards him, focused a little, and discovered it was the Black-Eyed. The Black-Eyed stood before him in the void and said, "Karma, so it's you? Have you finally decided to come out of the rat hole you were in to face me?" Arius said, "No, I came to see the expressions on the face of the person who turned from an arrogant sitting on a throne into an arrogant sitting on a metal rod piercing his ass." The Black-Eyed felt insulted, and lunged, punching the Black-Eyed in the face. The plague mask began to crack, but it did not knock the Black-Eyed back, which confused Karma a little. Then Karma said, "Finally, I will see the face of the insect that claims to be a monster terrifying everyone." After the mask shattered, it fell, and Karma was shocked by the face he saw, because he saw the face of Arius, whom he thought was dead. Karma said in a shocked voice, "Impossible, you..." Arius grabbed Karma's hand and delivered a punch with his other hand to his face, sending Karma flying to crash into the barrier.

He got up from his place and put his palm on his face where the mark of the punch appeared. Karma said, "Damn you, how could you do this to me? And you too, Arius, you are the Black-Eyed criminal who works as a servant to my worst enemies!" Arius smiled and said, "A servant? Who do you think I am, you scum?" Then he vanished and appeared before his face, delivering a blow with his elbow to Karma's stomach. Karma felt excruciating pain, and Arius grabbed his hair, brought his face close to his, and said, "I am not a servant to anyone, you little dog of Nahira." Then Arius spat on Karma's face and threw him far away into space.

Karma continued to be hurled away, and after a while, he stopped in place and said, "Arius, I will end this quickly. I won't dally anymore, especially since Isola is here, and I don't want to repeat what happened in the other half of the world. It's good what's happening, because unlike Barion, this scum is literally nothing before me. It seems Barion really was the strongest among the five strongest." Karma stopped, wiped the spit from his face, and said, "You killed Barion, right?" Arius arrived and said, "I did, and what of it?" Karma said, "So you became one of the five strongest like us?" Arius said, "One of the five? Oh, what a nice title, but I only acknowledge the First; the rest are just padding." Karma said, "Arius, listen to me carefully. You really don't understand the matter. I know you don't want to kill me, my friend, and that Dazai is the one who ordered you to do that." Arius said, "Dazai's friend ordered me to do that? A nice joke. You should know that I don't work with Dazai or anyone else, and I am also not your friend, you scum, so don't wear yourself out. If you were a true friend, you wouldn't have done what you did to me in the past." Karma said, "And what did I do?" Arius said, "Unfortunately, I don't know what you really did. I don't have the answer, but I truly feel that something happened. But also, I will never forgive you for what you did to my wife, you scum!" Karma said, "Listen to me, Arius, I am not afraid of you, and I am not saying this out of fear. I swear to you on my honor that I never touched your wife, came near her, or even met her! All that happened is that Nahira offered us to take her so we could pressure Dazai, and I refused at the time, but she did it of her own accord."

Arius smiled despite his coldness and said, "Do you think I will believe you? My wife told me everything—how you tortured her and how you tried to dare to touch her, but it's a good thing that didn't happen, because if it had..." Arius's eyes turned lavender, and he said in a cold voice, "Then I will destroy everything you know and everything you love, Karma." Karma feared those looks and said, "Arius, please understand, my friend. My situation is bad right now. You say you don't work with Dazai, so you are against him too, just like me. How about you join me and we kill two birds with one stone? You want me to remove your bounty and have Dazai disappear, and I want Dazai to disappear and the Elders to be removed. So what do you say?" Arius said, "Wonderful, a nice agreement, but unfortunately I did something better than it. However, in appreciation of your efforts to please me, I will allow you two choices: the first is to run away and I'll start hunting you after 60 seconds, or the second option is to strike me three blows of any kind, and if they kill me, then it's fair game for you. What do you say?"

Karma said, feeling a sense of suffocation, "Arius, please understand my situation. I will fight you as you want, but at a later time. Right now, I have to find a solution to my problem with the Elders." Arius laughed coldly and said, "Listen, don't worry, I'll get rid of them for you after your death as a tribute to your memory, and there you can be angry at them and punish them as much as you like. But tell me, Karma, how long can you endure?" Karma said, "What do you mean?" He said, "I will set a scale for our fight; I don't want to exceed it at all, because I don't have time to fight you for long, since I have more important matters ahead. Did you understand?"

Karma stood up, feeling a sense of betrayal, and said, "Arius, fine, we will fight to the death, but remember that you are the one who wanted this." Karma's look changed as he said, "Listen to me carefully. Since eternity, I have never used more than 2% or less of my power against anyone, but I won't risk holding anything back because I know the opponent in front of me is strong and not just an amateur. Therefore, I will end you in 5 minutes, and if necessary, 3 minutes is enough." Arius said, "You've finally decided to be serious."

Suddenly, the color of space changed from black to dark blue. Karma said, "His power before me now is 10 septillion, but I know he is hiding his true power, so I will first use 10% and crush him, then increase it if necessary to end things before his power escalates, because this monster is hiding a lot." Karma began to strip the metals off his clothing and took off his shirt, revealing simple muscles on his body. Arius said, "Oh, his power has started increasing: 70 septillion, 120 septillion, 500 septillion, 700 septillion..." The world began to shake from what was happening. Karma said coldly, "I have nothing left to lose anyway, so it doesn't matter."

The Master and Mythos arrived at the scene of the two. The Master said, "Master, are you really going to..." Mythos said, terrified with a pale face, "What is all this power?!" Then he looked and was shocked to see Arius there, saying, "What is he doing here? Didn't he die?" Then the Master focused and also saw Arius, saying, "What is this? How is this possible?"

In the east, Elaria looked toward the sky, began exhaling a breath, and said, "Isola, what is going on?" Isola said, "My lord is facing someone of immense power." Elaria said, "He must be facing Karma right now." Dazai said, "Damn, is he really going to face him?" And here, Dazai felt a massive, growing energy outside. Celis and the rest felt the massive energy too, and the Lords of Destruction felt Karma's energy despite being very far away. Raymus said, "What is this massive energy? Damn, it's Master Karma's energy, but why is he releasing all that energy suddenly?"

On the other side, Arius stood up and said, "Oh, it seems he really is serious." Suddenly, Karma vanished, headbutting Arius in the face and kicking him away. Arius fell onto the surface of a planet full of rocks. Karma descended behind him, and Arius tried to get up, but Karma appeared and kicked him in the face, sending him flying. Arius crashed into rocky cracks and emerged from there, extremely angry, and shouted with hatred, "I will kill you! I'll never forgive you! I'll tear your face off, you eye-less scum!" Then he lunged and punched Karma's face, sending him very far away. Then he appeared behind him and fired a Nightsphere blow that caused a massive explosion erasing half the planet from existence.

Karma emerged from the midst of the lava, looked at his forearm which was burned from the effect of the blast, and said, "That bastard..." Mythos said, "I can't believe it! Arius is matching Karma? What is happening here, and why are they fighting? And where is the Black-Eyed? Wasn't Master Karma supposed to fight him in the east?" Celis said, "Stay here, I will go with some soldiers to see what's happening." Dazai said, "I'm going too." Celis said, "No, you are injured; I will go with whoever is capable of fighting." The Blue-Eyed said, "I am going, and the Yellow-Eyed, and the Pink-Eyed." Some professional Isorian warriors went too. Zaya said, "I'm going too." Celis yelled at him, "No, stay here!" He said to her, "No, I'm going, I'm strong, and besides, that's enough, I'm not a child anymore. You must trust me for once." Isola said, "I'm going too, my husband is fighting there and I must go to him." She tried to leave, but Elaria stopped her. Isola said, "Get away, I have to go to Arius!" Dazai said, "No, where are you going? I won't let you do that, my sister, stop!" Elaria said, "Master, Arius ordered me to keep you away from danger, not to send you to it, so even this place is not safe, therefore I will take you away from here immediately." Dazai said, "Stop! What do you think you're doing? Let her go!"

Celis stood up and said, "You strange shadow, let her go." Elaria stood up, revealed her aura, and summoned blades from her back resembling dark wings. She said with absolute coldness, "Get out of my way, or I will kill you all." Then she grabbed Isola and began dragging her forcefully. Celis tried to attack, but with a single look from Elaria, she stopped. Elaria said, "Celis, you can go." Then she actually moved, took Isola, and vanished from the spot. Dazai said, shouting madly, "What are you doing?!" Celis said, "Despite everything, that being is truly terrifying. She stopped me with just a look, and had I moved one more step, this place would have turned into a mass slaughter. It seems this Arius has things a monster like him shouldn't possess." Dazai said, "Sister, bring her back immediately before that thing hurts her." Arlin said, "Calm down, her staying with that soldier is safer for her than staying with us here. As for you, you must be moved from here because I have a bad feeling about the surroundings." Celis said, "I'm leaving now." Celis, the three Senshu, some of her trusted men, and her son Zaya departed the place.

As for Dazai, he clenched his fist and said, "I'll show you." He pulled a purple pill from his pocket and remembered when Arius gave it to him once, saying, "Remember, do not take this pill unless you feel helpless or feel like you are on the verge of death, because it will completely restore your vitality and power." Dazai said, "Is it really that valuable? Aren't you supposed to use it?" Arius said, "Don't worry, I have plenty of it to the point that I don't use it at all; I use it only in emergencies. Please, a day will come when I won't be with you, and therefore it's better to be safe in advance." Dazai laughed and said, "You really worry about me a lot, my dear friend. You know you're the only person I trust with my life and my sister's life too." Arius said, "No, you shouldn't put your trust in me, because who knows when I might leave you." Dazai said, "Ah, a fine joke. Let's go and have dinner together, hahaha."

Dazai looked at the bottle and said, "You scum, even in these circumstances, I still rely on your things." Then Dazai opened the bottle and drank it. His body began to heal quickly; the wounds started disappearing. He was surprised and said, "It really worked! What is this?" He got up and felt his body was very light. He said, "Damn, I feel so energetic, I have to go after them." Indeed, Dazai put on his clothes and flew away from the place. Arlin saw him from the window and said, "Oh, how did this happen?"

After a while, Raymus arrived alone at their base. A group of soldiers saw him and decided to attack him, but he crushed them all with absolute ease. Arlin said, "There is something outside," and decided to go out. She saw Raymus directly in front of her. She looked at him and his changed features; it appeared that the power of destruction had made him tougher and more ferocious. He said, "I didn't expect to see you here, old woman." She looked at him and said coldly and with disappointment, "Did you really fail to control this power after all?" Raymus smiled and said, "What are you talking about? I am in top shape, and you know, I really thank you, because if not for you, I wouldn't have attained this power. And also, I will now send you to a better place, a place where an old woman can rest in peace." Arlin said, "Do whatever you want, but remember that you are taking the wrong path. Karma won't help you, Raymus. Be like Arius, even for once; be someone who carries a long-term vision." Raymus grew angry, knocked her off her wheelchair, and she fell. He said mockingly, "Arius, Arius, Arius! How long are you going to compare that scum to me? His era ended a long time ago. Don't mention people who left life in good terms because that increases their arrogance in the afterlife. So you can really go to him and tell him how good he was and that you admired him." Raymus stepped on Arlin's legs, breaking them, causing her to scream. Raymus laughed and said, "And now, go ahead and call your hero Arius to save you! He was always the one you favored, always the person who came first in your eyes, while I was just a backup copy of him." He kicked her and threw her far away, causing her to crawl while blood flowed from her shattered legs and from her mouth. Raymus walked towards her and said, "Old woman, do you know that the power of destruction is suitable to be tested on someone who is dying?" Energy in the color of dark black emerged from his palm, and he said, "Why don't we try it on you?" He grabbed her by the hair and said, "Any last words?" She said to him with difficulty, "You were always special to..."

Raymus closed his eyes for a moment, then drove the power of destruction inside her body. She began to scream in a terrifying way, her internal organs began to burst, black blood began to ooze, her eyes exploded, and unfortunately, she passed away. Raymus stood there breathing, steam coming from his mouth, looking at his blood-filled palms and at Arlin's corpse, then left the place in dead silence. You could hear the sound of his footsteps in plain view of Arlin's corpse, which was beginning to cool and her blood drying up. On this blackened day outside, Raymus left the place after eliminating all the soldiers present, causing a massive massacre estimated at about 600,000 dead, including Arlin, who passed away without resistance and in the most gruesome way.

On the other side, Karma was landing punches that shook the galaxy with their intensity, trying to put intense pressure on him. In response, Arius defended fiercely until Arius decided to use instant transmission to charge a glowing strike—which was the Soul Wash technique—and throw it at Karma's face. Karma took the damage, but he didn't vanish and didn't disintegrate, which surprised Arius. Karma stopped and said, "Is this really the best you've got? That was a really good face wash!" Then he punched Arius and threw him away, breaking through several planets. Arius said, "Why didn't it work against him? Isn't he a bad person?" A system appeared to him and told him that he could not use a technique whose conditions he fundamentally did not adhere to. Arius said, "What? I don't adhere to what?" The system told him in short that his soul is not pure right now, and that is why the technique failed to take effect. Arius said, "Damn it! This technique is useless anyway. Why did I even learn it in the past?"

Then he heard the voices of his soldiers saying, "Master, shall we come out and crush him for you?" Arius said, "No, but come out, Zaikorse and Dark." The two emerged from their master's body. Arius said, "Amuse yourselves with those two. Zaikorse, go play with the Master scum, and you, Dark, amuse yourself with that person, but make sure not to kill him because I need him." Dark said, "As you wish, my lord." The two headed toward them. The Master said, "Watch out!" He threw Mythos away, and Zaikorse stood before the Master, saying to him, "Get ready, for I have just been ordered to kill you." The Master said, "Come on, you rodent!" Zaikorse grew angry, his eyes turned red, he grabbed the Master, and pierced his face with a gauntlet, but the Master remained alive despite that, though he was forced to drag him far away.

On the other side, Dark stood before Mythos. Mythos said, "Stop, you glowing soldier or whatever you are, I have no intention of fighting Arius, I just want to talk to him, nothing more." Dark said, "My lord ordered me not to kill you, but he didn't order me not to punish you for your insults towards him." Dark punched Mythos. Mythos felt unbelievable heaviness from the blow, falling to a nearby planet and feeling excruciating pain. Dark descended upon him, lifted him, and shattered his back with his elbow, making Mythos scream in pain.

On the other side, Arius stood up and began to raise his power. It started rising: 700 septillion, 800 septillion, 1 octillion, 1.5 octillion... Then he pounced on Karma, and by bringing his palms together, he released a vortex that pushed trillions of stars away from the place and tore Karma's skin. Karma said, "Damn it! He was suppressing that blow for sure; he didn't want to destroy the place, so he was holding himself back. Damn him!" He looked at his skin and said, "You will pay the price!"

Karma closed his eyes, and suddenly strange rings began to appear around him. He said, "Appear, World of Destinies, and become my eternal harvest to destroy the person in front of me!" Then suddenly, Arius and Karma were pulled into a closed universe created by Karma. Karma said, laughing, "Here, you scum, you are nothing, and I am everything here! No matter how much you scream, no matter how much you cry or wail, your end is here."
