Freddy pov
During our meeting with the new employee, I couldn't help but noticing Monty acting strange but once Vanessa and Nelly left to grab Nelly her uniform to start her shift, I walked over towards Monty and asked, "you okay "? "Yeah, I'm fine " he snarled with a tinge of nervousness in his voice. "I know what's gotten his Mohawk, Little Monty has a crush on the new girl" Roxanne teased. "Shut it, tangle ball"! Monty snapped back. "How could that be possible, you guys just met "!? Chica cut in. "Monty, so the new girl is the one who's gotten your attention "? I asked. "Hey, I didn't even know that she was gonna t'a be workin here"! Monty stated. "Well, don't you see? This is perfect "I replied. "How so "? Monty asked. "It's simple " I explained. " You can try interacting with her while she's on break ""true" he said. "Don't worry my green, scaley friend, I'll help you " I said ever so confidently. "I'm listenin " he said with a pique of interest and so the two of us guys started going over the plan.
Nelly pov
So, I started on my shift not long after Vanessa handed me my new uniform, my first task for the day was to check-in on the animatronics to ensure that they were all working in proper order before the next show which was in less than 15 minutes, so I started at Freddy's room, all seemed well. Next was Roxanne but she wasn't in her room, so I went to Chica's room where I found both her and Roxanne sitting next to each other doing their makeup, Chica needed her bow fixed up, Roxy needed her keytar tuned up so that was that. Lastly was Monty's room but it seemed like nobody was there and the curtains were drawn closed. So, moving on to check-in on the daycare attendant, all went well plus he seemed like a jolly fellow when I met him. Hmm I thought to myself, lily would love to come and play at the daycare but I was soon snapped out of my thoughts when I overheard the speaker announcing the bands performance in two minutes I looked at the clock, it was already after 12pm , so I decided to head to the atrium to catch a glimpse of the band performing while supervising making sure that all went well. As I was watching the performance from the midsection row, I can hear the music begin to get more intense as the band made their appearance on stage. Freddy with his microphone, Roxy with the keytar, Chica with her electric guitar and then there was Monty strumming on the strings of his bass guitar. Soon our eyes met, he slightly slid down his star shaped glasses, and I could've sworn he flashed a toothy smile and winked at me. I was like ~no way, was he flirting with me just now ~? I was so lost in thought that I realized it was time to get back to work, that was til Vanessa walked over towards me and said, "hey Nelly, how are things on the first day going"? "It's been Interesting " I said. "Wanna take a break "? She asked. "Sure " I replied.
So we stopped by one of the restaurants, I ordered a cheese pizza with white sauce and garlic with a large dr pepper while Vanessa ordered a chili dog with a large root beer. We chatted for a bit til she had to leave because of a home emergency and now I had the small table to myself finishing up my lunch before my shift ended at 2pm and since it was only 1:30, I had 3o minutes before I had to clock out. As I was bout to head out to make my rounds patrolling, I found myself at Monty golf. As I was about to enter the attraction, a deep southern Voice spoke " ya'h lost Cher"? I turn to look behind me and there I was face to face with Montgomery gator. "What's wrong doll face, gator got ya'h tongue "? He asked. I rolled my eyes and said, " in your dreams gator boy " He looked at me and said " oh, so ya'h invitin me over t'a dinner "? With a smirk on his face. "Kay, I'm just kiddin " he said with a hearty laugh.
"So, ever been here b'fore "? He asked. "Actually, this is my first day here, so this would be my first time here's well " I replied admiring the scene greenery around us. "Wanna play some golf"? He asked. "As much as I would love to, but I clock out at 2pm plus I have to go get my kids off the bus around 3-3:30pm, but I'll be back tomorrow and maybe play a round " I said hoping that he didn't think I was rejecting his invitation. But thankfully he took it well. "I'll hold ya'h t'a it doll, as fer ya'h youngins, bring em by tha more tha merrier" he said with a wide grin. "So, see you tomorrow "I said in turn. "Sounds like a date " he replied with a flirtatious wink.
We both headed for the main entrance and as I walked out to start up my Harley, he looked with surprise " whoa, sweet ride, I didn't take ya'h fer tha biker babe type" he exclaimed with excitement. "Hey, what can I say, I'm a Harley girl at heart" I replied back. I revved up my bike " til tomorrow " he said. "Til tomorrow " I said as well. We both waved bye to each other as he flashed a toothy smile and winked, I turn to wink back while blowing a kiss to him. He flushed while holding a hand to his chest as he pretended to catch the kiss in midair. ~funny but cute ~ I thought to myself as I was nearing home and right on time too.
Soon as I got in the door, I changed out of my uniform and into comfy wear and started on tidying up what's left before the kids came home. "Hey, mom" I heard my son Danny as he as well just walked in the door after just getting off of school. "How did the interview go"? He asked " well" I said. "I got the job " "that's great mom" he said happily. "And since there's no school tomorrow, how about we head over there, hangout and have fun before I start my shift "? I suggested. "Sounds game " he said. " Now I may still be working tomorrow, but least there's a lot of fun things there to do on my breaks as well" I offered. "Okay, mom" he said. So, we started finishing up around the house, then at 3:30pm was the usual time my little girl came home.
We both walked out front to meet the van, lily exited out happily and joyful like always, we all walked back inside to get everything ready for dinner and since everything went perfect, I decided to treat us to order dinner to celebrate. So, we ordered pizza, chicken tenders, fries, mozzarella sticks and drinks from my fav place, after dinner, kids were bathed and off to bed in the blink of an eye. I started to get settled in myself but as I was laying there, I couldn't help but replay everything that had happened today in my mind, especially about Monty but soon sleep took over and was out like a light.
