Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Gentle Bartender, Makino!

The sky was clear, and the blue waves rippled.

A small pirate ship sailed on the calm sea.

Reno, acting as a temporary ship worker, listened irritably to Nami's commands.

"Reno, you idiot, a little to the left."

"Too much, too much, a little to the right."

"Are you a pig's head?! You can't even manage such a simple steering control!"

...

Nami, as if possessed by a motor mouth, incessantly roared, making Reno's face twitch.

Revenge!

It was definitely revenge!

Especially since Nami would always observe Reno's expression out of the corner of her eye before yelling at him, then continue her tirade.

It was just that the time for that had increased from four hours to five hours.

It was just that a few more positions had been unlocked.

Was it necessary for such blatant revenge?!

"How much longer until we reach the Goa Kingdom?!" Reno, who was steering the ship, was very annoyed.

He was the Captain, yet he had to personally handle even trivial matters like steering the ship.

And if he didn't do it well, he would be scolded.

"About half a day more." Nami, her confidence restored and in a great mood, lay on a lounge chair in a bikini, sipping delicious juice and enjoying the sun.

Nami's curvaceous figure caught Reno's eye, and combined with the hot weather, his desire quickly surged.

The next second, he immediately drew his sword.

Nami was startled and stood up from the lounge chair, cautiously saying, "What… what are you going to do? I'm your navigator."

Reno ignored her and directly inserted the sword into the ship's rudder, fixing its position.

Nami breathed a sigh of relief but shook her head, saying, "That won't work. Once the wind blows, the direction will immediately change."

"We'll worry about it when it changes." Reno smirked and walked towards Nami.

It's over.

"Reno, you scoundrel, wasn't the night's torment enough?!" Nami snorted, stomping her foot in anger: "I won't let you succeed."

Nami glared at Reno and turned to run towards the cabin.

"Trying to run?!" Reno chuckled softly, "Soru!!"

His figure flashed, and when he reappeared, Reno's large hand was already wrapped around Nami's slender waist.

"You big bad guy!!" Nami looked at Reno, pouting.

Oh God, someone save her!

Ignoring Nami's protests, Reno carried her into the cabin.

Goa Kingdom, Windmill Village.

Inside Makino's bar.

"I wonder how Luffy is doing. I'm really a bit worried."

The bartender Makino rested her chin on her hands, her face full of worry.

She had watched Luffy grow up and knew his mischievous nature well.

"Hahahaha… Makino, don't worry. That kid Luffy will be fine."

Dadan heartily gulped down her rum and grinned, "If Luffy really gets into trouble, Ace definitely won't stand by and do nothing."

"And there's Garp too."

Her subordinates highly agreed with Dadan's words, chiming in:

"Hahahahaha, Luffy is the grandson of Marine Hero Garp, how could he be in danger?! He'll definitely have a lot of fun on his journey."

Everyone's words gave Makino a little comfort.

What they said seemed to make a lot of sense.

His grandfather was the famous Marine Hero Garp, a Marine benchmark.

His brother Ace was one of the Division Commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates.

The Yonko Shanks was Luffy's guide.

How could anything go wrong?!

If they knew that Luffy's father was Monkey D. Dragon, the Revolutionary Army Leader, and that Sabo was not dead, even becoming the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army.

They would be even more astonished.

With so much background, Luffy wasn't going on an adventure; he was simply a second-generation experiencing life.

Just as the conversation in the bar revolved around Luffy, the door was suddenly pushed open.

Two figures walked in from outside.

Makino looked at Reno and Nami and gently said, "Can I help you with anything?!"

Facing the inquiry, Reno's lips curved into a smile, and he said, "I heard that the bartender here has excellent brewing skills, so I came to taste it."

Nami glanced at Reno.

Putting on an act.

Just keep acting.

Now she was certain that the bartender in front of them was Reno's target.

Coming thousands of miles to recruit beautiful female crew members, Reno definitely had some kind of fetish.

Nami had already labeled Reno in her mind.

Receiving Reno's compliment, Makino's face flushed slightly, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"You flatter me." Makino smiled gently and handed two glasses of wine to Reno and Nami.

"Hahahahaha, Makino, don't be modest. The wine you brew is famous for miles around."

"Kid, you have good taste."

Dadan, a bit tipsy, sprayed saliva everywhere.

Reno tasted the wine while observing the other people in the bar.

After a moment, he withdrew his gaze and said with a smile, "The wine is very good. I like it very much."

He was serious.

Everyone's praise for Makino was not an exaggeration.

It was genuinely delicious.

"I'm glad you like it." Makino was always so gentle and elegant, with a faint smile on her face.

"By the way—"

Here it comes, here it comes.

He's here.

Nami, who had been anticipating something to happen, grumbled inwardly.

Suddenly, Reynold changed the subject: "My Pirate Crew happens to be missing a brewer, and I think you're very suitable."

Hmm?!

The sudden invitation clearly startled Makino, Dadan, and the others.

After a while, Makino smiled and shook her head, still politely refusing with a smile: "I'm sorry, I have no intention of going out to sea. I just want to manage my bar well in Windmill Village."

Reynold was not surprised by Makino's refusal.

But solutions are always thought up.

People are always pushed to their limits.

"Just now, I heard you talking about Luffy outside. Coincidentally, I know him too."
