Chapter 1 - Title: The Greedy Farmer (The Consequence of Greed)

Dear readers ! we should know that greed always leads to loss. To explain this, here is a short story.

There was a farmer in a village. He had a duck that laid one golden egg every day. At first, the farmer was very happy. But after some time, greed grew in his mind. He started thinking—if he could get all the golden eggs in one day, he would become very rich quickly and build big houses and buildings.

So, he made a bad decision. He thought that if he cut open the duck's belly, he could take out all the golden eggs at once and become a millionaire in a single day.

With this idea, the farmer cut open the duck. But when he did, he found nothing inside—no golden eggs at all. Then he felt very sorry and said to himself,

"Alas! What a big mistake I have made! If I had not been greedy, I would have received one golden egg every day."

But it was too late. Because of his greed, he lost everything.

Moral:

From this story, we learn that greed is not good. We should always act wisely and be patient. Greed ultimately leads to loss.
