Without waiting for his reply, I ended the call and tossed the phone onto the desk. I grabbed the remote, aiming it at the flat-screen mounted on the wall to finally turn off the noise.
But before the screen went black, the entertainment reporter's breathless, hyperactive voice blared out from the speakers as the feeds moved across the bottom of the screen.
"THE GROOM HAS ARRIVED IN UNMATCHED OPULENCE! BILLIONAIRE SEBASTIAN MONTGOMERY HAS JUST STEPPED OUT OF HIS MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR ROLLS-ROYCE AT THE ST. PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL! SOURCES CONFIRM THE VENUE IS DECKED IN OVER TWO MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF IMPORTED WHITE ROSES AS GUESTS AWAIT THE ARRIVAL OF HIS BRIDE!"
Hearing the reporter gush about my brother's disgustingly wealthy display set my blood boiling far past its limit... My temper snapped completely.
"Fuck!" I roared, slamming the remote down so hard it cracked against the wood. "I need to leave right fucking now!"
