Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Path of the Warrior:-

The heavy oak doors of the Dojo groaned open, revealing a courtyard that smelled of incense and sharpened steel. Krishenmaru and Nadakure stepped inside, their hearts pounding. They were no longer boys from a noodle shop; they were candidates of the elite.

Lady Fujiko stood before them, her demeanor shifting from a harsh tester to a formal guide. "Welcome to the heart of Jurashi. Here, you will find the three Shoguns who will mold you into weapons of peace: Arashi of the 1st Level, Kurozan of the 2nd, and Akuma of the 3rd."

The Special Mantra

Their first morning began under the gaze of Shogun Arashi. He stood atop a wooden platform, his armor clinking softly.

"You are all twelve years old," Arashi began, his voice echoing. "You have defeated the five elements to stand here. But do you know why? Do you know the code that keeps a man from becoming a beast?"

Krishenmaru stood tall. "It is for my dream, Shogun!"

Arashi smiled thinly. "A dream is a ghost unless it is bound by a code. That code is BUSHIDO—the Way of the Warrior. It was invented by the Ancestor Tranjuro, and it is built upon seven pillars."

The 7 Virtues of Bushido:

GI: Integrity – Be honest in your dealings.

REI: Respect – No reason to be cruel.

YU: Courage – Rise above the masses who are afraid to act.

MEIYO: Honor – You are your own judge.

JIN: Compassion – Help your fellow man at every opportunity.

MAKATO: Honesty – Speaking and doing are the same action.

CHU: Loyalty – Be true to those you protect.

"Bushido is our pride!" the students shouted in unison. "Bushido is our special mantra!"

Nine Years of Shadow and Steel

Time in the Dojo moved like a rushing river. Five years were spent mastering the basics of philosophy and the 7 Virtues. Another four years were dedicated to the grueling physical mastery of the katana, the bow, and hand-to-hand combat.

By the age of twenty-one, the boys had become men. They gained a new ally, a quick-witted fighter named Kairen, who completed their trio. Under Shogun Kurozan, they learned the weight of their blades.

"Remember," Kurozan warned during their graduation to the 3rd Level, "the blade you swing must never turn in the wrong direction. A samurai without wisdom is just a murderer with a sword."

The Secret of Kemeno

As they entered their final year of training under Shogun Akuma, the atmosphere grew heavy. The lessons shifted from physical steel to the spiritual energy known as Kemeno.

"Kemeno is the spirit of the animal within you," Akuma explained. "It is the legacy of Tranjuro. Most awaken their animal between twenty-one and twenty-four. It is rare to see it sooner."

Soon, the training paid off. Nadakure felt a sharp clarity in his vision and a lightness in his bones—he had awakened the Eagle Kemeno. Kairen followed shortly after, manifesting the sparks of the Electric Squid.

But Krishenmaru remained silent. Despite his perfect scores and his mastery of the blade, his inner spirit had not yet spoken.

The Kinko Hill Mission

One evening, Kairen approached his friends with a nervous glint in his eye. "I know where it is. The Secret Scroll of the Ancestor. Every evening at 6:00 p.m., the Village Head checks it inside a hidden cave at Kinko Hill."

"We shouldn't," Nadakure whispered, thinking of his sister Nadashi. "It's guarded."

"We just want to see the history!" Kairen urged.

Driven by curiosity, Nadakure and Kairen slipped away to the hill while Krishenmaru stayed back to help Sankuro watch over little Nadashi. They found the cave, watching from the shadows as the Village Head confirmed the scroll was safe. For a brief moment, they laid eyes on the legendary document that held the key to the Kaiju King's prison.

They returned home, unaware that they weren't the only ones watching. In the dark cracks of the rocks, a Shadow Kaiju had tracked their movements. The secret of the scroll was no longer a secret, and the peace of Jurashi was about to be torn apart by the claws of the beast.
