Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Night of the Fall

The sky did not rain that night… yet it felt heavier than any storm.

Kyle Ren stood among the crowd, his small body trembling, his eyes locked on the wooden platform ahead. The noise of the people—their shouts, their whispers, their judgment—faded into nothing. In his world, only one person remained.

His father.

Bound in chains, standing tall despite the blood covering his body.

"Traitor…!"

"He deserves death!"

The words echoed like blades in Kyle's ears, yet he did not truly hear them. All he could see was his father's calm smile… a smile he could not understand.

"Father!" Kyle shouted, trying to push forward, but a rough hand grabbed his shoulder and slammed him to the ground.

"Stay where you are, you brat."

Kyle lifted his head, tears mixing with anger. "He is not a traitor!"

No one listened.

The executioner slowly raised his sword, and even the air itself seemed to freeze.

In that moment, the father's eyes met his son's.

"Live… and endure."

The words were silent… but Kyle understood.

And in a single instant—

The blade fell.

Everything fell.

Years passed like an endless nightmare.

Kyle, the boy who once screamed, became a young man with a terrifying silence in his eyes. He no longer sought justice… he began to understand only one thing:

Power.

In the testing ground, he stood among dozens of youths, all looking at him with disdain.

"This one? The traitor's son?"

"His existence is a disgrace."

He ignored them.

He stepped forward toward the Core Stone. His heart beat slowly, but his eyes… were cold.

He placed his hand on it.

One second… two seconds…

Nothing.

Someone laughed. "As expected, no core."

But—

A crack appeared.

A faint sound… then another.

💥

A strange light spread—dark and distorted, as if it did not belong to this world.

The examiner stepped back, eyes wide in shock.

"What… is this?"

As for Kyle…

For the first time in years, he felt something.

Not pain…

But a beginning.

The beginning of something… that would never stop.
