[Spes and Atomus are outside of Boundless Tavern and Inn] I am really about to do this. I am about to help most of my kind fix my errors. I hope when this is all done we can just be friends. "Spes let us go now." [Atomus launches off.] He left. I have to catch up. [Spes launches off the planet in pursuit of him.] He must live very far because We've traveled through multiple universes and still haven't arrived. [How impatient can one be? You went the wrong way dumbass that's why.] Where's Atomus? [Is he serious? Atomus grabs him and throws him to the planet before landing himself.] "Get up" [Atomus grabs Spes arm and lifts him up onto his feet.] "Did you have to do all of that?" "I waited a day for you to get here and you didn't come. I have some right to be rough." [Atomus lets go of his arm and points towards a village.] "That is where we will be going, I should say you only should go alone because it isn't my job, but I need to show you what to do first." [Atomus walks into the village. He rips a strip of skin off his arm and digs the visor out of his muscle. Gorey but it gets the job done I guess. He holds his arm near his mouth and looks through the visor. He lowers his arm and turns to Spes.] "This is Order. You are going to use a copy of it to see the order of the brains of the creatures in that village." [Atomus shows his arm off.] Order records data so i will be able to see the order of their mind once you have scanned a few people and come back. I can look through it together and I can order the brain correctly. Easy?" [Yeah but not for Spes apparently.] "Yes, I can do that." [Liar. Atomus grabs Spes arm and rips open his forearm before putting a visor in it and making him regenerate over it.] He did not even ask, he just did it without me saying a word. [That's because you stood him up and started talking to other men.] "There, use that to scan them. I do not care who, just do it." [Atomus walks away.] I guess that means get to work. [Yes it does get moving. Spes starts to walk into the village. He rips his forearm open and pulls the visor from his arm before aiming it at someone.] strange. Their mind is glitching but it looks like it is slowly starting to flow like water. [Spes walks over to them.] "Hello, I would like to know if you feel something new in your head?" [The person stares blankly at Spes. Spes steps out the way and they continue staring off into the distance.] This is strange. They aren't moving at all. [Spes waves his hand in their face. They then fall face first flat onto the ground.] What the? [Spes kneels down and checks for a pulse and they have none. Spes stands up and aims the visor at someone else. Their mind is glitching and then it starts to flow like water. Spes walks over and the same thing happens.] This can't be right. They are dying. I need to ask Atomus about this. [Spes shoves the visor back in his arm and goes to see Atomus who is at the moment scanning plants with Order. He turns his head to see Spes.] "Done already?" "No, I have a question. The people I scan seem to die. Their brains glitch on the visor and then they flow like water. [Atomus makes a face of realization.] "Oh yes I forgot. Order's main purpose is to get rid of anything without structure. It eliminates it. Destroy's it. So when you see what seems like water it's just that their brain is being melted in their head. By nature a liquid is unstructured but it still has order in some way. Order melts anything unstructured and unordered into a liquid to give it some sort of basic structure so it can be frozen and molded." [How do you forget that?] "How do you forget that?" [That's what I'm saying.] "It just slipped my mind that is all. Anyways carry on." [Atomus goes back to scanning plants] "I do not want to kill the innocent." [Atomus sighs.] "Then give them a reason not to be." "How?" [Atomus stops] "Make them disagree with you or make them speak against you. If they do then they broke a rule and killing them is justified." That doesn't seem like a bad idea. "Thank you Atomus." [Spes goes back into the village with his new agenda. Forcing people to disagree with you so you can "Morally" kill them. This is a proper main character if I've ever seen one.]
[Spes taps on a townspersons shoulder.] "Hello ma'am i am Spes. I am a Primordial Deity and I would like to know if you support our agenda and rule?" [The lady hears Primordial Deity and flinches in fear. Once finished she nods vigorously.] "Do you know of anyone who may not support our agenda?" [The lady nods] "My father. He says you all are. Plague." [Spes smiles kindly.] "Would you mind if I see him?" [She shakes her head.] "No, I'll take you out to where he is." [That's how you get a date Spes good job man. The lady walks Spes to her home and takes him inside. Already meeting the parents, this is the stressful part. Her father is sitting in a chair in their living area.] "Father, I have a visitor." [Her father looks over at Spes.] "Who are you?" "I am Spes. I am a Primordial Deity." [Her father gets out of his chair.] "Lana! You brought this thing into our house? You know they aren't welcome anywhere here and you brought them here? Are you in love with this thing?" "No father! He just wanted to see someone who doesn't like Deities." [Her father approaches cautiously. He grabs his daughter.] Lana please get away from it!" He is really protective of her. Maybe you should be more like her. "Unhand her." "No! She is my daughter and she will not serve you! " [Lana and her father start arguing and Spes cuts open his arm before ripping the visor up and scanning his brain.] "Hey. What doing? My head feel. Weird." [His speech is slowed, slurred and then it stops. Her father is dead. Not quite my first date idea but I guess it works.] "Father?" [She shakes him.] "Father, what's wrong, why aren't you moving." [Her father falls over and she panics.] "He's dead. I have killed him." [The lady looks up at Spes.] "No, bring him back please." [Tears run down her face as she tries shaking her father awake.] "Is there anyone else you know?" [She puts her father down and looks at Spes before nodding.] "Do I have to take you to them?" "Yes. you do" [She looks back at her father and with shaky steps she gets up and walks past Spes.] "This way please." She seems scared. She should understand her father broke a rule. I don't know what else to tell her. "He broke a rule. Maybe many." [She nods and stumbles as she walks.] "I know but I thought you would scare him not kill him." "I am sorry for your misinterpretation of my motives but just know we are unpredictable beings. Do not expect us to do what you think." [She nods more and tears stream down her face.] She's emotional. She might do something irrational if I do not look out for it. [They arrive at another home.] "My mom and siblings live in this house. Are you going to kill them too?" [Spes nods] "Leave me outside then." "Okay. Do not go anywhere." [He opens the door and a man sees him. He rushes at Spes and jumps trying to tackle him but Spes grabs him by his throat and lifts him up before scanning his head and dropping his body to the ground. Another boy runs into the room, a younger boy at that, and starts yelling at Spes before he's scanned.] They just don't understand. Their sacrifice saves the minds of all. [That's one way to justify it. You're still killing them Spes. no matter what you believe.] "If anyone else is here, come down now. This is the command of a Primordial Deity." [A woman and a young girl walk out from the room.] "You should burn at the stake for this." [Really lady, why? Spes scans her. She falls to the floor like all the others. The younger girl drops to her knees and cries.] "Mother! Wake up please!" [Spes walks over and stands over her.] "She is dead for her disobedience. Do you view the same as her?" "I'm sorry." [Spes sighs and rubs his chin in pre-determined grief.] You should have just said no. Now I am the one who is sorry." [He holds up the visor and scans her.] "What happened?" [The girl from before is still standing outside and she watches Spes leave.] "I had to kill them. I am sorry. If you want me to, I can put you out of your misery." [She shakes her head.] "No. I always told them they would one day be punished. It still hurts a lot." [Spes pats her shoulder.] "It will be okay. Thank you for your help." [Spes walks off and leaves her alone to grieve how she wishes.]
[As Spes walks back he feels a familiar feeling] The death of people doesn't feel great but it doesn't hurt. I guess it is just because they are so pathetic and weak they mean nothing to me but that is not true because i like Danity and Bound. That girl was also nice even though she led her family to their death. I can only hope Atomus is happy with seven scans. [Spes walks back to Atomus.] "Atomus. I have scans" [Atomus turns to look at Spes and approaches.] "Good rip the visor out." [Spes grabs the visor and rips it out his arm completely before giving it to Atomus. Wipe the blood off at least.] "Seven scans is enough. Thank you." [He pulls Order out and pulls veins out of the visor before connecting them to Order. Blood starts to flow between the veins until Order absorbs the visor.] "I want to ask why you did not get the scans yourself?" "Well the visor connected to your veins and in turn your blood stream. When you scanned it took the atoms from their mind and mixed them with your blood. Now that I have those atoms and your blood mixed together, the previous unordered and unstructured atoms are now ordered and structured while also being compatible with the structure of the mind. We can now give every one ordered minds and the people of the omniverse can control their new emotions." [Atomus rips Order out of his arm and aims the screen up.] "Alright this is going to be loud." "Loud?" [Atomus chants something.] "Let blood soak the brains of all matter and stop the endless suffering of shifting atoms." [He clicks a button and the screen jets out a crimson beam into the sky. Spes covers his ears as the sound is screeching loud.] He was right that is extremely loud. "Be prepared, I have to aim this at you now!" Wait what? "Hey, don't jus-" [Atomus yells before pointing the beam at Spes. His body is flooded with a huge amount of information and energy.] Ohh this is really uncomfortable! [ Spes starts to shake and twitch as the pure flow of energy and power floods his body. After a few more seconds the beam stops.] "Okay, Let us go and see if it worked. [Atomus shoves Order back into his arm and starts walking as Spes catches his breath.] That was extremely uncomfortable. My veins felt like they were inflating and shrinking at the same time. That beam would have atomized anything other than a Deity. [Spes shakes his head] That noise is back. [Hey don't you dare knock me out again asshole.] I smack my head a couple of times and shake it again. "Much better." I continue on my way to the village. A lot of people are running around in fear. People are knelt over in pain with bleeding ears "They are running around like poultry. How can that scare something?" "Atomus that beam was huge. I can understand." Atomus looks at me. "Stop being a humanoid." "Don't call me that." "Then don't sympathize with them." " I was just giving a reason, not an excuse." "Your reason was unnecessary." Atomus pulls Order out his arm and looks around. "Looks good. Their brains are nice and lined up." "How?" Atomus puts Order away. "Well that beam filled your mind's vault with structure and now your emotions automatically give structure to the brain. It's just as simple as that." I nod. "Yeah that makes a lot of sense." As me and Atomus talk about the humans one runs over to Atomus. "Law, we have an offering." "Oh Pearl how sweet of you" The girl runs off. "Law?" "Yes, that is what humans call me. Neat right? Humans will do anything you say if you are truly superior. It is cute." Atomus leads me to the area where the offering is. It has a lot of food and very ordered patterns of silk and products. "I guess they know you like order." "Yes they do. It is because I have killed many for being unordered." Atomus smiles. "Kidding." "Law please enjoy our beautiful feast." Pearl gives him a smile and runs off. I know we don't eat like humans but they have good food. So just eat. Enjoy the rest of your time here. Also let me get a look at that list." I open my pocket and hand him the list with a pen. He crosses himself off and then points. "I think Deus should be next. He has not been able to do a thing since we started Conception all those years back. He needed you to make gods since they take emotion and acceptance before being made, but you were too busy doing whatever you were doing before coming down here." "I probably should help him out then." I hope he is not horrible like Danity described him in his story.
Atomus looks at the list for a while longer before passing it back. "A lot of interesting stuff you have got in there. You are doing a good thing you know. Helping us all after what you have done. Wasting our time but, I am willing to forgive since you actually helped me. Order is nice and happy now that everything has order. You seem to be very hesitant and all over the place when it comes to people. You easily killed others because they broke a rule but you left one alive. That man at the tavern. Why him but not the people you killed today?" He is talking about Danity. One of my two human friends. I like Danity because he is raw. He is real about what he wants and dislikes. I take a deep breath. "Because he was not a part of an assignment. I was not ordered to kill him nor has he gotten in the way of anything related to my mission." "If ordered to, would you kill him or go against Genitor?" I pause for a little bit. "I think I would kill him. My kind is more important than them. Even if my mind is inconsistent." "inconsistent?" "I mean sometimes I find us to be cruel and other times I find us to be right and never wrong. I have no idea what to even think any more." Atomus leans closer. "Disobey us, and we will have you killed. I promise you that." My blood stills in my body. "No need. I will not. I promise." Atomus sits back. "Good. I do not want to have to kill you after waiting two-hundred-fifty million for you to finally show your face. Thanks for the help Spes. do not disappoint me. Anything else before you go?" It took a few seconds for me to answer. "May I have my own visor?" "Why should I give you one?" "Why not?" "Because I want an actual reason. Give me one good viable reason and I will give you one." "If another Deity needs help I want to be as prepared as possible before trying to just hope everything works out. It would make things easier and a lot better. So please. I ask kindly." Atomus holds out his hand. "I guess that is a good enough reason. Give me your arm." I place my arm in his hand. He cuts open my forearm and shoves a visor in before I regenerate around it. "Thank you Atomus." "Of course. Now go and complete your mission." As I stand up Atomus finishes his thought. "Thank you again Spes for helping me." I stand up fully and take my list from Atomus before leaving the building. I look around and I see that girl still outside her home. I walk over to her. "Hello, are you scared to see them?" She nods. "Yes, I don't want to see them dead." I step past her into the house. I kneel next to her older brother's body. I rip open my arm and pull the visor out. I change the structure and his brain returns to a solid form. I do this with her other brother, her mother, and little sister. I step out of the house. "Let us go back to your fathers." I walk to her fathers house while she follows behind. Once there I walk in and do the same to his brain. I walk back out and meet her at the doorstep. Lana looks at me. "What did you do?" "I may have brought them back. If not, I am sorry for your many losses." And with that I launch off the planet going to the coordinates of Deus. I do really hope he is not as horrible as he seems.
With a slam I land onto the planet Deus lives on. The air smells of sulfur. It smells disgusting. I see a nearby village built out of sandstone and rock. It is very windy and dusty. In the village I see Duskies. A very friendly species that has no sense of smell. Very perfect for the climate and stench of this planet which is called Kragion. This village is named Fragmon. "Hello?" I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn and see the scaled body of a Duskie. "Hello there. I assume you know of Deus or I should say The God." The Duskie smiles and nods. "Yes! So friendly. Very nice to us Duskies. Are you like him? If so, welcome to Fragmon. We happy to see such new friend here." "Yes, nice to meet you too. I have to go now but maybe I will come back to chat." The Duskie waves and I start walking away before a gigantic beam of fire slams down in front of me. Once cleared the overwhelming presence of a Deity stands before me. "Hello human fucker." I am taken aback. "What did you just say?" "Oh get a grip Spes it's not that big of a deal. You here to help me or not?" He speaks very improper. "Deus?" "Yeah, what about it?" "Why do you speak like a human?" "Because I have a mouth and I don't wanna talk like I've got a sophisticated stick stuck up my ass." Again. He is extremely vulgar and I have only had a few lines traded between us. I did not know Deities were allowed to be so vulgar. "It is just that I am not used to what you are saying. Usually creatures speak like that, not us" Deus rolls his eyes. "Whatever. Just step next to me." I stand right next to him and then fire swirls around us before we end up in a cave full of interesting items. His cave is very disorganized. Atomus would absolutely hate this place. Deus also seems very different from the other Deities as he swears and talks as if he is a common creature when he is clearly not. I am pretty sure this is due to him not having a lot of contact with more creatures than other Deities and he is also the messenger meaning he talks to a lot of non-Deity beings to begin with. I can already tell this is going to be a long assignment, but I am kind of intrigued to see how me and Deus get along. Let me hope Deus is not the version he was in Danity's story.
