DIVINE BEAST CONTRACT
1. WHAT A CONTRACT ACTUALLY IS
A Divine Beast contract is a binding of existence. When a Divine Beast chooses a host, it compresses a portion of its true form and anchors it into the contractor's body, usually within the heart, spine, or shadow.
This creates a shared state called:
"Dual Existence"
The human remains human
The beast remains a beast
But both now occupy the same life
The contractor becomes a vessel and an owner.
2. CONTRACT TYPES (HOW THEY MANIFEST)
Not all contracts look the same, the way a beast integrates depends on its nature.
■ Mark-Type
Appears as tattoos, sigils, glowing veins
Enhances the body directly
Best for combat-focused beasts
■ Manifest-Type
Beast can partially appear (claws, wings, eyes, aura)
Allows external abilities
Most versatile type
■ Internal-Type
No visible change
Powers are passive, mental, or conceptual
Often the most dangerous
■ Relic-Type (Rare)
Beast manifests as a weapon or object
Example: blade, chain, armor
Power is channeled through usage
3. CORE POWER SYSTEM CALLED "RESONANCE"
Power is based on:
Resonance (Sync between human and beast)
The better the connection, the more power the contractor can draw.
Resonance Levels
Level 1 — Awakening
Contract is fresh
Basic physical boost
One minor ability
Beast presence feels distant
Level 2 — Alignment
User can consciously activate abilities
Partial manifestation begins
Gains 1–2 core skills
Level 3 — Synchronization
Strong combat usage
Multiple abilities
Body begins adapting (eyes, instincts, durability)
Level 4 — Dominance
User can force power output
Large-scale abilities unlocked
Risk of losing control increases
Level 5 — Convergence
Borderline fusion state
Beast and human act as one
Unlocks Divine Merge
4. BEAST SKILLS (HOW POWERS WORK)
Each Divine Beast has 3 Core Authorities.
Not "elements" or generic skills or any bullshit like that, these are themes of power and magic.
Example Structure
A beast might have:
Authority of Ruin
Authority of Pressure
Authority of Devouring
From these, the user develops skills.
Important Rule: The user does NOT "learn" skills by ANY means. They unlock what the beast already is.
5. BEAST EVOLUTION (HOW POWER GROWS)
Divine Beasts evolve, and evolution is tied to "Expression of Nature"
The more the contractor acts in alignment with the beast's nature…
The more the beast unfolds.
Evolution Stages
Stage 1 — Sealed Form
Weak output
Limited abilities
Beast is restrained
Stage 2 — Stirring Form
New abilities emerge
Physical changes begin
Beast "responds" emotionally
Stage 3 — Awakened Form
Full combat potential unlocked
Beast begins influencing personality
Visual transformations become intense
Stage 4 — True Form
Beast expresses its true identity through the user
Massive power increase
High mental risk
Stage 5 — Disaster State (Rare)
Only for high-tier beasts
Power becomes overwhelming
User is barely in control
6. DIVINE MERGE (TRUMP CARD SYSTEM)
What it is:
A temporary fusion between contractor and Divine Beast.
Activation Requirements
High Resonance (Level 4+)
Beast must "accept" the user
Extreme emotional or life threatening trigger
What Happens:
Body transforms (horns, wings, altered form, etc.)
Power multiplies drastically
Abilities become pure expressions of the beast
Basically the Divine Beast and host merge together.
Combat Effect:
Speed, strength, and ability output spike massively
Area of effect becomes large
Presence alone can overwhelm enemies
The Cost:
Divine Merge is NOT safe.
Prolonged use damages the body
Mind begins blending with the beast
Risk of Permanent Overwrite
Permanent Overwrite (Failure State)
If the user loses control they become A human shaped Divine Beast with no personality or restrain, and there is no return.
7. LIMITATIONS
To keep fights interesting and not broken:
■ Overuse Burn
Using too many abilities strains the body
→ bleeding, muscle tearing, internal damage
■ Resonance Drop
If the user acts against the beast's nature
→ power weakens
■ Mental Pressure
Stronger beasts influence thoughts
→ anger, hunger, detachment, etc.
■ Compatibility
Not everyone can handle strong beasts
→ weaker minds collapse early
