The beach was finally quiet again.
The strange golden glow had faded from the sky.
The god-guy was gone.
The cursed spirits were gone.
And Takeru was still standing in the middle of the beach, looking up at where the young man had disappeared.
He looked down at his hands.
Then around at everyone.
Takeru blinked.
"How long did I fight him?"
Everyone looked at each other.
Yuji scratched his head.
"I… don't actually know."
Hakari looked toward the beach.
"Felt like a while."
Maki nodded.
"Definitely more than a few minutes."
One of the Gojo's glanced toward the sun.
"Probably around an hour."
Takeru's eyes widened.
"An hour?!"
Nanami calmly checked the time.
"Approximately fifty-eight minutes."
Takeru stared at him.
"Fifty-eight?!"
Nanami nodded.
"Approximately."
Takeru looked toward the spot where the god-guy had disappeared.
Then back at everyone.
"I ran from him for like…"
He thought for a moment.
"Ten minutes?"
Yuji nodded.
"Probably."
"So I spent almost an hour fighting him after running away for ten minutes?"
Hakari grinned.
"Yep."
Takeru put his hands on his hips.
"…That's actually pretty good."
Maki raised an eyebrow.
"You're proud of that?"
"Absolutely."
Takeru stretched his arms.
"Although…"
He looked at the destroyed section of beach.
"We're probably gonna have to fix this."
Takaba walked over and looked around.
"Don't worry."
Takeru looked at him.
"You got an idea?"
Takaba smiled.
"Maybe."
Takeru immediately became suspicious.
"…Why did you say that like that?"
Takaba just laughed.
