Chapter 11 - The Divided Battlefield

Wheel of Fortune, a Stand capable of transforming ordinary vehicles into armored tanks. It was somewhat similar to Strength; the larger the original vehicle, the greater its performance, and the more exaggerated it became after transformation.

As it drew closer, Zenith couldn't hold back his shock. *Is this freaking Optimus Prime?!*

He quickly placed down two rows of iron blocks on the spot to act as a barricade. A one-meter-thick, two-meter-high iron wall was rapidly constructed, but even with his hand speed, the length couldn't keep up.

"Optimus Prime" leaped into the air, its spinning spikes looking ferocious and wild, exuding a fierce steampunk vibe. Everyone used their own methods to quickly dodge, but doing so instantly widened the distance between them all.

Wheel of Fortune drove into the fog and disappeared. In the blink of an eye, Jean Pierre Polnareff let out a bloodcurdling scream.

*Classic Polpol,* Zenith thought, looking toward the source of the sound as he chugged a Potion of Night Vision. Well, his field of view was certainly brighter, but he still couldn't see through the fog.

"Mirrors! The moment that tank drove past, someone attacked me from inside the mirror!"

The Stand attacking from within the mirrors was Hanged Man, representing the Tarot card of the same name, symbolizing bad luck, capriciousness, and egoism. Its user was named J. Geil, an absolute pervert, and also the murderer who killed Polnareff's sister!

A crowd surged forward—the corpses of innocent people controlled by Justice.

"Crap, be careful not to get hurt!"

The protagonist group was scattered by the swarming horde of corpse puppets. The risk factor of fighting isolated battles skyrocketed, but unlike the original timeline, everyone here knew the abilities of all of Dio's Stand users.

Polnareff sprinted rapidly. As the ultimate doting brother, defeating Dio was secondary to him; he had only embarked on this journey in the first place to avenge his sister.

A gash had been sliced open on his shoulder, and blood was gushing out, which he covered with his hand. If the fog touched his wound, his left arm would be completely useless for the rest of this battle.

*Where is he? Damn it, come out!* His mind was in chaos. Impulsive and reckless—that was Polpol, but he had a heart that deeply loved his sister.

Hanged Man hid within mirrors, a Stand that could move at the speed of light across all reflective surfaces. And on this street filled with metal, glass, and shattered rearview mirrors, reflective surfaces were the one thing they weren't lacking.

"I have to find his real body!"

Even as he spoke, several more cuts appeared on his body. The fog was about to take advantage of his vulnerability.

On the other side, Noriaki Kakyoin and Muhammad Avdol successfully regrouped. Magician's Red's fire abilities were a hard counter to this fog; at the very least, it cleared out a large pocket of space around him.

"That Stand user named Enya the Hag is defiling the bodies of the dead. Every single one of these puppets was once someone's wife, husband, or father. And my flames will leave them without even a body to remain in this world."

Avdol hesitated, but Kakyoin was far more rational. "Mr. Avdol, we must defeat the enemy first before we can even consider what comes after. At the very least, we can compensate these innocent bystanders who were dragged into this."

That was certainly true. Neither the Speedwagon Foundation nor Zenith lacked the power of money. Especially Zenith—while the Speedwagon Foundation actually had to spend time and effort managing their business, Zenith could just casually go mining and gather a full stack of gold in a few days.

Once he reached a modern world that actually had Minecraft, he could just look up how to build a Zombie Pigman farm and achieve total financial freedom in gold. By then, gold would be no different from dirt to him.

Kakyoin made his move. Emerald Splash! Against such a wide-scale group of enemies, the Emerald Splash could effectively knock them back. But it was limited to just knocking them back; these puppets were merely corpses. They felt no pain, knew no fear, and even their joints were completely irrelevant to them.

"Kakyoin, what is that in your pocket?"

"In my pocket?"

It was a magic lamp—Aladdin's magic lamp!

Kakyoin's expression changed. He knew exactly what this was. According to the intel Zenith had provided, this was the disguise of the Stand Judgement. It masqueraded as a genie of the lamp that could grant wishes, only to twist people's desires to inflict harm upon the wisher.

It must have been slipped in by someone when they were being swarmed by the puppets just now. *But as long as I don't rub the lamp, Judgement shouldn't come out, right?*

That was what Kakyoin thought, but obviously, a Stand wouldn't be so inconvenient. Purple smoke billowed out from the lamp, and the genie named Cameo appeared.

"I heard the desires in your hearts, and thus I have appeared! So, your wish is for enough treasure to compensate the innocent dead, is it not?!"

"Hey! Wait, I don't have any wishes!"

Kakyoin immediately shouted to stop him. Emerald Splash! All wishes would be twisted by the enemy, so he absolutely could not allow this so-called wish to be granted.

"Hail 2 you!!!"

Completely ignoring whatever Kakyoin was saying, a massive amount of gold appeared out of thin air—but it took the form of giants made of gold.

One, two, three... *Damn it, why are there so many? Is it corresponding to the number of the dead?!* At this point, Avdol couldn't care less about the consequences. Flames surged forth as he vowed to melt these golden giants into liquid.

On top of the retreating tank constructed by Wheel of Fortune, Jotaro stood firmly with his arms crossed, the invincible Star Platinum hovering right beside him.

"It seems the fog's range is only this large, covering a distance of two kilometers around us. What a terrifying range. But looking at it this way, that old hag should be right in the center of the fog."

As expected of Jotaro. While everyone else was dodging the tank's charge, he had preemptively grabbed a protrusion on the vehicle's exterior, leaped onto the roof, and ridden the tank all the way out of the fog.

Feeling the tank beneath his feet gradually slow down, he rolled his wrists. One of his eyes was hidden in shadow, while the other emitted an intimidating glare.

"Getting ready to turn around? I've already gotten the intel I wanted. Now, I'm going to finish you right here."

It was a declaration of victory. Even solid metal couldn't stop Star Platinum's fists. "Ora!"

With a single punch, a massive dent instantly caved in the roof. The entire vehicle shuddered, and the Stand user sitting in the driver's seat looked utterly bewildered. "When did you...?!"

"I'm a delinquent. I get into fights all the time, and walking out without paying because the food wasn't worth the price is a regular occurrence for me. But even a guy like me knows what true evil is."

"You bastards use your abilities to trample all over the lives of others, and because there's no evidence, the law can't judge you. So I will be the one to judge you!"

Faced with such large-scale casualties of innocent people, Jotaro was genuinely furious, and his fury would transform into merciless iron fists that would violently pummel the enemy beneath his feet into absolute dust!

Meanwhile, Zenith had built a four-meter-high iron pillar beneath his feet. He looked down at the chaotic battlefield as the sounds of combat flooded his mind.

"Trying to divide the battlefield and win with numbers? Then let's see who actually has more people." The plot had definitely derailed. He still couldn't figure out why the enemies, who appeared one by one in the original story, were now showing up in entire swarms.

But none of that mattered anymore. They'd cross that bridge when they came to it, and deal with whatever came their way. As long as he completely crushed every enemy that showed up, everything would be resolved.

They wanted a numbers game? Then bring it on! By arranging iron blocks into a T-shape and placing a carved pumpkin on top, the invincible Iron Golem was successfully summoned.

A Shulker Box completely filled with iron blocks sat right at his feet. As Zenith continuously built, after consuming a full five stacks of iron blocks, eighty Iron Golems officially joined the battlefield!
